Answer: This is never explained.

SAZOO1975

Answer: Dracula's a crafty and resourceful guy. While we're not privy to the details, he surely made the arrangements and concocted a cover story so that he and his team of monsters could get shipped close by the amulet's location.

Question: My friend an I have been having an argument. Whose hand hits the car window in the sex scene?

Answer: Although Leonardo DiCaprio has some femine looking hands for a guy, this is Rose's hand hitting the window and sliding down. Pay attention to the fingernails, and you will notice it is a woman's hand.

Jazetopher

Question: Does the watch Winthorpe wants to sell really exist or is it a made up brand? There seems to be no information about it on the net.

Answer: It's a made-up brand, named after La Rochefoucauld, a 15th century French writer. An April fool's article exists online claiming the watch has been redesigned for the 21st century.

Answer: His middle name was stated by the writers in interview, and is mentioned in the Friends Trivia Game, but is not confirmed in any episode.

Question: Why do Gaston and his mob proceed to enter the castle, when it is clear from the looks on their faces that they are a little confused and suspicious as to why a bunch of objects just happen to be lining the entrance hall?

Answer: Because they're there for the beast. They aren't just going to turn back simply because some stuff was out of place.

Answer: "Hush, Hush, Hush" Paula Cole.

Question: After the fire on the ship, and everyone gets out, Benny yells to O'Connell that he has all the horses. O'Connell yells back, "You're on the wrong side of the river." Benny makes a big stink about all that. My question is why? Surely it would not be so hard to cross a river.

Answer: Depends very much on the size of the river. The Nile at that point is pretty wide and deep, which doesn't make it particularly easy to cross. Benny and his cohorts would need to find a ferry or bridge to get across, which would take time. Even without horses, that gives O'Connell's group a considerable head start.

There are poisonous snakes in the Nile River.

Answer: There are also crocodiles in the Nile.

Question: In the Panama scene, what do the boys mean by "thought they were in Panama"?

Answer: They thought they were in the country "Panama" but they were, in fact, not.

Question: Why is Gordon equated so often with V? They each have secret chambers full of art, they make the same eggs and some scenes are similarly structured. Are we supposed to think Gordon is V for a while?

Answer: No. It may be for no other reason than to set up the joke Gordon makes about being V. Or it could, more likely, be to make it seem less like V is alone in his views on society.

Question: During the credits, we see Mater finds his hood, saying he hadn't seen it for 20 years, and when he puts it on, he talks like a human would if they pinched their nose shut. Why is this? All other cars have hoods and talk fine with them. Certainly Mater's "nose" wouldn't just reject the hood from being separated for that long. Could someone explain this because it makes no sense to me.

Answer: The movie is implying that the "pinched nose" voice is his real voice, and that the voice we hear throughout the film is what he sounds like without a hood. It's more of an inside joke than anything, since Larry the Cable Guy voiced Mater for the film. To get to hear him speak in a normal tone of voice of sorts is what makes this so funny, since his southern drawl is largely exaggerated for his stand-up performances, and he is capable of talking without it, as heard in the movie.

Question: To anyone who's seen the Broadway musical: are the Beast and the Prince played by two different people? It seems that it would be difficult to execute the transformation scene that quickly on stage.

Answer: SPOILER ALERT. DO NOT READ THIS ANSWER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW. It is the same actor. Not to spoil the magic, but they figure out a way to have the Beast onstage and in costume, send him into the air and have the transformation done in the blink of an eye. The way they do it, they couldn't change the actor if they wanted to. He never disappears from view. One thing to be aware of, though, is that during the fight with Gaston, you don't get a really good look at the Beast. That's because his makeup is already off. Can't really say more than that, as I do not know the tricks of the trade. The effect is astonishing.

K.C. Sierra

Question: Does anyone know what song was used in the adverts for this movie? All I know is that it's Missy Elliot, it samples that song "Jump On It", and she says something akin to "Wanna pull my head, break my back." Anyhow, I like the song but I can't figure out what it is.

Answer: It's called We Run This by Missy Elliot.

Question: At the end of the movie, Jack receives a message. Who sent the message to Jack's ship and what did it say?

Answer: The message said that the Frenchman that they kept on board was in reality the captain, and not the ship's doctor as they had believed. The person who sent Jack the message was one of his officers (although I can't think of his name right now.).

Bunk - S1-E13

Question: SPOILER WARNING IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN RECENT SEASONS (4 & 5). At the end of this episode, Horation goes to his brother's grave but in, I think, the 4th season, we find out that Raymond isn't dead, so whose body is buried in the grave? There was obviously a funeral because in an episode earlier this season, Horatio had a little booklet thingy from a funeral about his brother. Whose body is buried in Raymond Caine Senior's grave?

Answer: Many people whose body is not recovered still have gravesites with tombstones after memorial services. Or it could have been a closed casket with weights in it.

Question: What exactly is Kazim attempting to gain/accomplish by killing the doctors?

Answer: So they will not discover the poisonining that is going on.

Question: A thought occurred to me and my mum after we had seen the film at the cinema. Mme. Giry and the Phantom are friends, and probably grew up seeing a lot of each other, and there is never any mention of Meg's father of Mme. Giry's husband. Is it possible the Phantom could be Meg's father?

Answer: This is very common to think among the questions I have heard. In the 2004 film during "Down once more/Track down this murderer" the Phantom says: "That fate which condemns me to wallow in blood, has also declined me the joys of the flesh." He is a virgin. Also, in the original story, the two were not friends at all. Giry did his bidding because he led her to believe, through a note given to her, that he could make Meg some form of royalty or the next big thing. Madame Giry and Meg were both actually very intolerable beings, Meg constantly treating Christine like dirt and being her biggest bully (even more than Carlotta) It is likely the phantom never even lifted a finger to try and assist Meg because of that.

Answer: Anna kept it, you can see it later.

Question: Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Amy Greenwood the only regular character to never actually live in one of the Ramsey Street houses?

Answer: If my memory serves me correct, there have been no others like that.

Question: In trivia for this film, it says that when Carl goes to arrest Frank in the hotel, he flashes his badge the wrong way. Spotted this myself thinking it was a mistake, but trivia says it was Intentional. Why did they have him flash the badge this way?

Answer: Carl's work is mostly done in his office. When in the field he'd usually just question people. This time he actually has to arrest the guy and the reversed-badge thing is meant to show how nervous he is.
