Question: Re "The Suite Life Movie", I have two questions. One: Zack is flirting with a girl named Nelly throughout the whole movie, but he has a girlfriend, Maya. Is he cheating? Two: (SPOILER ALERT!) Near the end, when Zack and Cody are free from becoming merged, they return to their normal life, but they still have stages 1, 2, and half of stage 3 still in them. Does this wear off, or are they still like that?

M0vi3

Chosen answer: One: Zack doesn't meet Maya until after the movie. Two: There are 2 possibilities. The first one, the steps might worn off after they got to the ship. and the second answer, London said she talks to animals since she ate them, it never worn off.

Zack definitely met Maya before the movie takes place, SPOILER in the final episode when they break up Zack says they've been together for 3 months, and not only does the movie take place during spring break which is less than 3 months from normal graduation, but also their graduation date gets moved up since the ship got sold.

The movie is set between the last two episodes; they had already met.

Question: In the ending scene, how come Jean couldn't control the plane, and stop the flood from the inside? Would've been a whole lot easier.

M0vi3

Chosen answer: Because, as we see earlier in the film, Jean's increasing power levels cause problems with electrical equipment. She has to be clear of the plane for it to fly under its own power. From the outside, she can control it without risking it losing power and crashing into the water below.

Tailkinker

Answer: They do not.

Manky

Question: Harry walks into the goblin lair, and there are two gliders. One of them is the Green Goblin's, but there is one that isn't the sky stick from the 3rd movie. What glider is that?

blonddude207

Chosen answer: Just a prototype Norman brought home from the lab.

Phixius

Question: I have three questions about the lake scene. One: When Cyclops fires his lasers, he falls to the ground afterwards. Is that draining his life or something? Two: When Cyclops kisses Jean, how come his face was wavy? Three: Does anyone know why Jean is knocked out when Wolverine and Storm found her? Or why mist is everywhere and everything is floating?

M0vi3

Chosen answer: 1 - Cyclops fell to the ground because he was in psychological pain from being in the place where he lost the woman he loved. 2 - His face was wavy because it was being disrupted by her telekinesis, the same way he eventually died. 3 - She was knocked out because her power overwhelmed her. The strange things going on are because she can no longer control her powers.

Question: In the beginning of the movie, when the Cullens walk into the school, it's sunny outside, but they don't sparkle. Why is that?

bk123456

Chosen answer: In order to sparkle, the vampires need to be in direct sunlight.

Answer: In addition to the other answer, it should be noted that Forks, Washington is one of the rainiest and most overcast areas in the continental US. The Cullens moved there to avoid being in sunlight.

raywest

Chosen answer: What exactly are you asking for here? I'm sure they can sense the heat, but "get hot" is a relative term. When I lived in Brazil for a couple of years, I'd be walking down the street, sweating my brains out while the kids on the side of the road would be complaining that it was too cold out for them. Yet we're both still just as human. Now, if Hades is a god -- god of the Underworld, no less, as you point out -- how are we supposed to know how hot is too hot for him?

Question: When Peter pauses the world, the dwarf is easily seen making an expression. How come?

bk123456

Chosen answer: This is nothing more than a lame "breaking the fourth wall" gag. Basically, by making the expression the dwarf is showing that all of the actors are just standing still, as opposed to being really frozen.

Manky

Question: I saw the answer to the whole Frankie death scene, but there's still something I don't get. If Wendy and Kevin had stayed in his truck, wouldn't they have died, and messed up Death's list?

M0vi3

Chosen answer: They would've died, but Death "knew" they wouldn't have stayed in the car. If they had stayed, Death would change his death.

Question: I previously submitted this as a three-part question, but only the first part was answered, so I am re-submitting the last two parts. 1)It has been said that Superman is able to stop both missiles when he travels back in time because there are now two Supermans. If this is so, what happens to the other Superman? 2) The entire reason Superman travels back in time is to save Lois. Saving her no longer gives him a reason to travel back in time, so shouldn't this have created a paradox?

S. Ha

Chosen answer: The first Superman lives out that paradox and goes back in time to save Lois. At that moment there is only one Superman again from then on.

Phixius

Question: Tim Curry is said to appear as two different characters, Pennywise and Richie's boss, but I couldn't see him as the second. Where does he appear?

Answer: I fear you may have been misinformed. He only appears as Pennywise in the film.

Manky

Chosen answer: The CSI team is very close-knit and use each others first name all the time. Calling him Dr. Ray is their way of including him in the closeness of the team and still giving him the respect of his title.

Guy

Question: Was Spider-Man's identity ever made public at the end of this movie? He was without his mask several times during the final battle and there were a lot of cameras, so...?

Brad

Chosen answer: There's no evidence to suggest that his identity was compromised at any point.

Tailkinker

Answer: The fight between Sandman, Venom and Spider-Man was high up on a construction site so nobody watching the action from ground level would be able to see his face.

Question: The film states that Smith infected every single person in the Matrix. If that's the case, when the source deletes Smith, shouldn't that kill everyone in the Matrix? It killed Neo after all.

Brad

Chosen answer: It only killed Neo because the termination signal was sent directly through him. Everyone else was simply freed of Smith's corruptive programming.

Phixius

Question: Here's an interesting thought; Debbie was provided with a small power saw and told that to prevent a pipe piercing her skull, she would have to get a key, which is revealed to be in William's side. What was to stop her from simply using the saw to cut off the spear on her chest? Couldn't she have cut it off her chest, and had the harness taken off later?

Eyexpress333

Chosen answer: It's possible, but unlikely. 1) She was under great distress and might not have thought of that. 2) It would be easier (and more importantly, quicker) to cut through Easton's soft skin than the spear. 3) There is a good chance that tampering with the spear might have made it go off.

Question: Why are there transports in the Battle Of Endor? It doesn't seem sense that transports were to go into to battle without any armament at all. Also, the Death Star II is seen firing on one of these transports. Wouldn't it be more reasonable to fire on Home One?

Answer: According to the novelisation of Return of the Jedi, the transports were loaded with large quantities of explosives, with the intent of using them in a kamikaze role. Given that role, it makes sense to target them as a priority, before they could be used to destroy a major Imperial ship, plus the premature detonation of the explosives could damage or potentially even destroy surrounding Rebel ships, weakening their fleet.

Question: After Elizabeth is brought to the Pearl, she threatens to drop the medallion overboard. Barbossa feigns disinterest but when Elizabeth pretends to drop it, the pirates gasp in panic. Why? So she drops it, big deal. They can't drown, the gold "calls to them" so what does it matter if she were to drop it?

Jacordx

Chosen answer: Because they'd have to find it. The gold may "call to them", but it obviously doesn't function as a millimetre perfect homing beacon or they'd never have missed the medallion years earlier when they attacked the ship carrying the young Will. Elizabeth drops it into the sea and they're going to have to spend what could be months trying to locate it - currents could take it well away from the dropping point. They've found the final missing piece; they're potentially just hours away from finally being cured. The last thing they want is to see it thrown into the sea.

Tailkinker

Well, if the crew was anxious to get the medallion then why did they act like they weren't interested in it before Elizabeth pretended to drop it?

Reverse psychology.

Ssiscool

What do you mean by reverse psychology?

By showing they are not interested in the medallion they are hoping Elizabeth will just drop it on the floor or chuck it to them as it's of no real value. However when she releases a bit of chain and the medallion drops, and the pirates lurch forward revealing that they really want the medallion and as such Elizabeth now has the upper hand in negotiations.

Ssiscool

I'm guessing Elizabeth wasn't fooled when the pirates showed disinterest in the medallion.

That's not called reverse psychology, which is used to encourage someone to change his or her mind. Doesn't work with a threat. They are feigning indifference to hide the importance of the object.

Question: Every time I watch the movie, I can't work out why Batman tells Gordon that he is going to save Rachel (so that Gordon's unit saves Dent), but lies and saves Dent (Gordon unit are at Dent's place but Batman enters from the back door, leaving Rachel to die). Why would he do that to Rachel as she is his oldest friend?

Answer: Hate to say it, but you've got the situation completely wrong. Bruce thinks he's going to save Rachel, but the Joker lied to him, he reversed the addresses where the two were being held. So Bruce shows up, expecting to find Rachel, but finds Harvey instead and rescues him. Meanwhile, Gordon and his men, who think that they're going after Harvey, arrive at the place where Rachel's being held, but the bomb detonates before they can get into the building to save her.

Question: I have three questions. One: When the superheroes are fighting the robot at the end, why couldn't Frozone just freeze it completely? Surely that would've been a whole lot simpler. Two: After Violet and Dash are saved by Mr. Incredible (before they're crushed while under the robot), right after it shows Bob flying through the building. It cuts shots, and there is some green floating stuff in the background. Can someone explain to me what it is? Three: After Violet snatches the remote while invisible, the robot falls to the ground, due to the crossed arms, and when Violet is running to her family, in the background, the robot raises his arm to his head, and waves it up and down. What is it doing?

M0vi3

Chosen answer: Three questions? Three answers! First: Frozone couldn't completely freeze the robot because (as seen in the movie) freezing doesn't work! Frozone tried several times and the robot easily broke free. Second: the "green floating stuff" are green tree branches and leaves in the foreground of the robot. Slow the DVD to frame-by-frame and you'll see it! Third: The robots arm moving up and down was an involuntary mechanical jerking movement due to it crashing. Much like "shaking it off" after you fall. It had a mechanical spasm.

Question: I can't figure out how Rapunzel had the tiara to give back to Flynn in the boat scene, yet Mother Gothel found it in its hiding place after Rapunzel left the tower and gave it to the Stabbington brothers. Did I miss something important that explained this?

Answer: After tempting the brothers with the tiara, she got them to join up with her and she had access to the tiara again. Then, when she met up with Rapunzel in the forest, she gave it to her and told her to see if Flynn would still stick around if she gave it back to him.
