Corrected entry: When Rufus falls out of the sky and reads that message from Jesus, he says it is written in Aramaic. Aramaic is written from right to left but he read it left to right like as if it was written in English.
Corrected entry: Why is there snow in Hogsmeade when the trio gets there and meets Aberforth? Hogsmeade and Hogwarts are within walking distance of each other, yet there is no snow at Hogwarts.
Correction: According to interviews with Rowling, Hogsmeade is above the snow line, so there would always be snow there, no matter the weather at Hogwarts.
Corrected entry: When Dressler's 'secretary' speaks 'German' it doesn't sound German or Austrian at all. In fact I am Austrian and If there weren't English subtitles I wouldn't have understood at all what he's talking about. Yes, there were German words, and maybe even the grammar was more or less correct but the pronunciation was that bad that the whole audience started laughing when they heard him talking in 'our' language.
Correction: The language being spoken, is actually Old German, which was drastically changed at the end of World War II. Currently, one would be hard pressed to find anyone living, that openly speaks the old language, which essentially became extinct by 1950...except for radical extremists who await the coming of the Fourth Reich.
Corrected entry: In the scene of Bill the Butcher lying in bed with the naked women, one woman has a noticeable tan line from a bikini - a bit early for the bikini... (01:21:50)
Correction: That isn't a tan line - she is slightly paler from the waist down - it covers her legs to the middle of her calves. She's been out topless wearing a petticoat, something a prostitute would be likely to do in those days.
Corrected entry: When Spider-man is in the bell tower, removing the symbiote, it's raining and dark outside. At the same time Eddie Brock is in the church down below and praying. You can see out of the front door of the church and it is bright and sunny outside. Similarly, every stained glass window is lit up. How can they be lit up if it is dark outside?
Correction: There are bulbs in the windows. Very common in NYC churches.
Corrected entry: The scene where Robocop and Lewis are at the steel mill after he was all shot up by ED-209 and the police, Robocop removes his helmet. Robocop all through the movie has a black lining on the sides of his face and chin. When he removes the helmet they just disappear. (01:20:50)
Correction: The helmet may well have been holding the chin strap in piece. When he lifted the helmet, the chin piece simply fell away (off camera).
Corrected entry: Final scene - Leonard pulls out a piece of paper to write the next clue - he starts with "Tattoo Six..." With his "condition" how could he have remembered he was now on tattoo six without stripping down and going through all his other tattoos?
Correction: For the same reason as all the other "with his condition" questions: Leonard's amnesia is psychological, not physical. He chooses the limits of his memory, and so knows what he wants to.
Corrected entry: When Johnny and Baby have the conversation about 'Have you had many women', Johnny gets out of bed totally naked. However, when Baby rolls over you can see that she is wearing underwear. This isn't very probable if they have just had sex. (01:05:05)
Correction: When we see them, they're lying in bed having a coversation. Which means that they didn't *just* finish having sex. She had enough time to put on her underwear. Plus, Johnny's her first lover, who's to say that she was comfortable being completely naked?
Corrected entry: The children (Auggie and Jack Will) in the movie are seen using Acer Chromebooks in order to play Minecraft, especially in one endearing scene where their friendship is mended using the game. Chromebook computers use Google's own Chrome OS as their operating system, which renders them unable to run various programs which might be available on your average Mac or Windows PC, such as Minecraft.
Correction: 2017 Chromebooks support Google Play and therefore Minecraft. I can play Minecraft on my HP Chromebook 13.
Correction: If you install linux onto a non arm processor device you can install minecraft on a Chromebook.
Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie where Charlie gives the gobstopper back, Gene Wilder's hair is all screwed up, but the next second it's fine.
Correction: This is not necessarily a mistake: It was done on purpose to show how crazy he is.
Corrected entry: When Eduardo flies to California to see Mark he is soaking wet from standing outside in the rain, and his hair is in disarray, including his bangs being down on his forehead. He and Mark then go speak privately, and in one of the camera cuts to Mark his hair is suddenly styled, including the bangs being parted to one side instead of down. He wouldn't have had enough time between cuts to "fix" his hair, and even if he did, it wouldn't have looked like he just walked out of a salon. (01:29:40 - 01:32:00)
Correction: There is a shot of Eduardo in the hall fixing (back turned to the camera) visible his hair by pushing it back off his forehead to his right side.
Corrected entry: When Alonzo and the crew steal from and murder Roger, their "cover story" is that Roger shot one of the cops when he came through the door and Hoyt shot and killed Roger with the shotgun. The ambulance arrives about 2-3 minutes after they call in the shooting. How would they explain the kitchen floor being cut up and the money being dug up? It clearly took longer than 3 minutes (It shows where Alonzo smokes 4 or 5 cigarettes in the time it takes) so when, according to their "cover story," would they have had the time or opportunity to dig it up?
Correction: Alonzo and his men could have just said that they found the floor cut up when they arrived on the scene. Roger was dead when the other police arrived so there was nothing incriminating that could have linked them to the missing money, the cut up floor or the cigarettes in the kitchen.
Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie when the students are first sorted, a little red-headed girl is sorted into Hufflepuff house before Harry. Later in the movie, she is seated at dinner at the same table as Harry, meaning she would have to be in his house, which is Gryffindor. How did she switch houses? (00:44:05 - 02:17:50)
Correction: I have carefully watched both the full-screen and widescreen DVD and this mistake is wrong. Susan Bones, who is played by Eleanor Columbus, is not sitting at the Gryffindor table during the House Cup Feast - EVER. The girl next to Wood is not Susan. The girl next to Lee is not Susan. The girl on the right side of the boy next to Neville is not Susan. All these girls have long hair, but they are not Susan Bones. When the hats are thrown, there is an overhead shot of the Great Hall from the OPPOSITE side of the room, by the huge ornate wood doors. In this shot, at the second table from the left which is Hufflepuff, but could have been misconstrued as the Gryffindor table, which is also second table from the left when the camera is on the opposite side of the room as it was in all the previous shots, there is a girl with long red hair, but she is still not Susan Bones. However, Susan IS clearly visible when Dumbledore changes the decorations in the wide shot from Slytherin/green to Gryffindor/red, she sits fourth down at the Hufflepuff table, almost directly behind Ron. She is also seen throwing her hat in the air as the Hufflepuff table is shown.
Corrected entry: Just after the gentleman mentions Julie's little girl's death along with Patrice's, he refers to her as five years old. The TV camera televising the funeral pans to her casket and it is engraved with her birth and death dates, showing her to have been seven years old.
Correction: He got the age wrong. Character mistake.
Corrected entry: Remember in The Empire Strikes Back, when Boba Fett didn't fall for Han Solo's trick of having the Millennium Falcon cling to the Imperial starship? Now we know why. He remembered back to when he was just a kid, and his father (Jango Fett) lost track of Obi-wan Kenobi, who clung to an asteroid in the same way. No doubt that in Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett was thinking, "That trick may have worked on my dad once, but it's not going to work again."
Correction: He never actully KNEW Obi Wan clung to the asteroid so he couldn't possibly have remembered it. What's the point of hiding if Boba and Jango knew?
Corrected entry: When Selene was painting on the wall of the prison, when she was a young child the painting was at her eye height. Now when she returns, the painting (although faded by time) is again at eye height but now she is an adult. The painting should be under the water, but would serve no purpose there since the audience could not see it.
Corrected entry: After they attempt to rescue the reporter during the first battle, Rico shouts to the others to go. Watch behind Rico. Apparently, the stuntman in the background is supposed to react as if he got impaled by a Warrior Bug. The Special Effects Department must have decided not to add the Warrior Bug after all. Correction: After closely watching the scene, the soldier simply trips and falls to the ground. He doesn't act at all like he's being attacked.
Corrected entry: It may just be me but, when Peter suddenly stops wearing his glasses shouldn't his aunt and uncle have noticed? Mary Jane notices at school yet the people that have raised him never say anything. (00:18:00)
Correction: Maybe they said something to Peter when the camera wasn't rolling. Peter is never shown using the bathroom, but I have to assume he did. He is never shown doing laundry, bathing, and many more routine and needed things. Do you really want to see any of that in a film?
Corrected entry: In the scene where the Penguin takes control of the Batmobile with Batman in it, Batman finds the remote by punching through the floor of the car. How are we supposed to believe that this mass of armour and weapons would have a floor weak enough to punch through? (01:21:40)
Correction: If anyone would know what the Batmobile's weak points are, it's Batman. It could be an access panel.
Corrected entry: In Suzhou Prison, presumably the Suzhou near Shanghai, all the prison guards are speaking Cantonese, which is a southern dialect. They should be speaking either Mandarin (Putonghua) or their regional dialect.
Correction: There's no reason that their language should be based on the location of the prison, but that they are guards. Why would the author of this comment expect the guards to be local? Does everybody work in their own neighborhood?
Correction: There is nothing to indicate which direction Rufus is reading. He only swipes his finger across the word for "Jesus". He doesn't trace the text with his finger as he reads and we can't see his eyes.
