Continuity mistake: In the restaurant with Big and Carrie, Big's either holding the stem of his wine glass, or holding it above the stem between shots. There isn't any time for him to switch the position of his hand between shots.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Swofford is threatening to shoot Fergus, in all the frontal shots we see that Swofford's face and ear are touching the end of the rifle. In all of the shots from behind, his face and ear are no where near the rifle. There isn't enough time for him to move the rifle away from his face between shots.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ron goes into Mike's house after calling Nikki, Ron sits on a chair in front of Mike. In the frontal shots, Ron sits with his legs crossed. In the shots from behind, he sits with his legs apart. There's not time between shots for Ron to cross and uncross his legs. (01:06:30)

Continuity mistake: When Jules goes into Kimmy's dad's office, she sits down at his desk and immediately starts typing an email. After sitting back down from falling off of the chair, the box that the wedding ring is in suddenly appears on top of some papers, which she later sets aside. She didn't take it out of her pocket during the time she was sitting or after getting back up. (00:58:35 - 01:00:20)

Continuity mistake: When Jules is in the dressing room, and Michael comes in, she grabs her jacket to cover herself up. In the first couple of shots of her, her jacket is almost folded in half. In the very last shot, it's not folded. She didn't have any time to unfold the jacket during the last two shots. (00:14:40 - 00:15:15)

Continuity mistake: Nicole Kidman's hair changes between shots in the scene where Sean Penn first interviews her. In some shots, her hair is in front of her eye, in other shots her hair is away from her eye. There is no time between shots for her to move her hair out of the way.

Deliberate mistake: The scene where Topher Grace is jogging on his treadmill in his apartment is reversed. His wedding ring is on his right hand. In scenes before and after, his wedding ring was on his left hand.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Howard Hughes and his young girlfriend Faith Domergue are in the Coconut Grove meeting with Juan Trippe, Faith is seen with a sundae in front of her. In one shot, she's eating the sundae, and in the very next shot her hands are suddenly in her lap.

Continuity mistake: When Vincent is shot in the face, the bullet left a long gash below his cheek across his jaw line. A couple of scenes later, when he's in the train the gash is gone. All we see is make up which is supposed to be blood.

Continuity mistake: When the girls are knocking on the "Wilson sisters' (the Copeland brothers in disguise) hotel door for the slumber party, Karen is holding a stack of magazines, and "Cosmopolitan" is on top. When one of the "sisters" opens the door, the magazine on top is now "Self." (00:48:40)
