Corrected entry: When Tarzan and Clayton are in the tree fighting and Tarzan gets the gun, he breaks it on the tree. Or does he? On the DVD it appears in slow motion that the gun breaks before it hits the tree, right where it would hit Clayton's crotch. Ow.
Corrected entry: When Arnie goes on to the church for the first time, the priest dismisses him and exits through a door. When the door is open you see an ornate banner on the other side in a well lit room. When Arnie walks through the door it is into a small dark room at the top of some steps with no banner.
Correction: It's not the same door; it's not even hung on the same side. It just cuts to Arnold finding the door to the cellar, as it's not that interesting to watch him walk through a random room.
Corrected entry: Martin bangs Saverio Guerra's (Benny) head into the armored truck's steering wheel. If you look close, you notice his head doesn't even come close to hitting it.
Correction: I just watched the movie and his head does hit the wheel.
Corrected entry: They have Heather twice on the two different cameras - it's really obvious when she finds the mysterious thing, and the second obvious time is when she pants and slows down.
Correction: This is supposed to be a documentary compiled by footage discovered, so in all likelyhood, they simply were recording on and off throughout the days, allowing for her to be in two camera angles at once in the finished film, as one camera could have been shut off, and handed over to another person, etc.
Corrected entry: When getting ready to steal the mask, Zeta-Jones's character drops some sort of transmitter on the highly polished stone floor in front of the pedestal that holds the mask. If they put the dot on the floor in front of the pedestal, why don't they just come up there, instead of the other side of the room? There are no lasers immediately in front of the pedestal.
Correction: Most likely because they could not come up that way. This could be due to the structure of the castle (walls standing directly under the pedestal, for instance) or the security. If that section was monitored, it would cause an additional risk to the burglars. Or for that matter, it is easier to bring the equipment the short distance from the moat, rather than drag it through half the cellar and have no clear exit (as they do when they are near the moat). As we do not see the blueprints of the area but Mac does, we can not say for sure why he chose to come through that particular section of the floor, but be sure he has a good reason.
Corrected entry: When Libby had to shoot her way out of the coffin, the shot would have been so loud that her hearing would have been poor for days, yet she was able to listen to the conversation in the room at the end from behind a heavy closed door.
Correction: Two gunshots would not impair her hearing for days. I was at a shooting range recently and my friend fired several rounds from a loud H&K .45 in a confined, indoor space while I had my ear protection off. In less than 30 minutes my hearing had returned to normal.
Corrected entry: When the boys are singing "What Would Brian Boitano Do?" Cartman says "Sh*t," but doesn't get shocked by the V-chip. Even though he is not on screen, he can be heard.
Correction: Cartman doesn't sing the line "Brian Boitano doesn't take shit", and you distinctly hear him join in only after, with "from anybody", just like he didn't sing the line with "ass" in it.
Corrected entry: When Rufus falls out of the sky and reads that message from Jesus, he says it is written in Aramaic. Aramaic is written from right to left but he read it left to right like as if it was written in English.
Corrected entry: The mistake in the film comes at the end of the movie where our main character (Douglas Hall) picks up a newspaper with a date that reads "Monday June 21, 2024". June 21 of 2024 falls on a Friday, not a Monday.
Correction: Since our world is just a simulation, and you can see this newspaper in the "real" world, it is possible that June 21, 2024 is a Monday.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Kat and Patrick are on the porch, Kat asks Patrick to tell her something true. When she says this (when the shot is from the porch looking out) there is a strand of red paint-stained hair on the side of her face. Yet when Patrick kisses her neck and we see the close up moments later, it's tucked neatly behind her ear. She doesn't move in this time.
Correction: You can see Patricks hand brush the lock of hair back behind her ear as he moves in to kiss her.
Corrected entry: During the birthday party scene, Brandon's clothes change back and forth - from a black, buttoned shirt to a black sweatshirt with Nebraska written on the front.
Correction: This isn't a mistake. Brandon gets the sweatshirt as a gift. He puts it on because they want to show the audience that all the gifts have been opened and that it's later in the evening.
Corrected entry: Craig locks Lotte and the chimpanzee in a cage. The monkey unties her hands, but it remains a mystery how the two of them got out of the cage. (01:12:30)
Correction: Her fingers are much thinner then the chimpanzee's, so she would just have to stick her fingers through the cage and pop open the lock. It's not like it's locked with a padlock, it's simply a pole you must lift up, that the monkey was never able to figure out. Anyone with a cage for something like a puppy would know its not that hard to get open from the inside.
Corrected entry: The framed thieves communicate between themselves in Polish. Later on, they are supposed to be Romanian.
Correction: Retraction: I wanted to let everyone know, the previous post claimed that the Polish speaking Romanians was an error. The Polish language is from the Indo-Eeuropean language family, and is a West Slavic language spoken by approx. 50 million people worldwide, in 46 different contries, including Romania.
Corrected entry: Drew Barrymore's character is supposed to be 25 years old. If she graduated even at age 17 she would have graduated in 1990 yet the flashbacks and the advertising lead you to believe the senior year sequences take place in the mid-80s. Impossible.
Correction: The point of her sporting 80's fashion is to point out that she was not in touch with what was current at the time.
Corrected entry: Bilbao is in the Basque Country, which has its own police force, the Ertzaintza, that is independent from the Spanish National Police. When the police burst into the Swiss banker's flat, it is the Ertzaintza who enters, with their traditional red caps. However, when Bond is walking away, the police cars that are going towards the crime scene belong to the Spanish National Police, which has no jurisdiction in the Basque Country. (00:04:00)
Correction: That is incorrect. Although it is true that the Ertzaintza carry out most police duties in the Basque country, both the Guardia Civil and the National Police are also present here. They generally deal with more serious crimes like drug smuggling, organized crime and so on. So it is completely believable - and quite likely that the National Police would respond to multiple shootings in the financial district.
Corrected entry: When Mini Me is first introduced and is sitting with Dr. Evil stroking Mini Mr. Bigglesworth you can clearly see he hands it to someone barely below the table line instead of all the way to the ground. (00:14:40)
Correction: He doesn't hand it over to anyone, he just drops the cat under the table.
Corrected entry: When Benny jumps out the window the window breaks, but later, when the flies come, Jonathan and Rick shut that window, blocking out the flies.
Correction: When Benny jumps through, he only breaks part of the frame on the outside. However, the wooden "doors" on the window on the inside are still intact, allowing for Rick and Jonathan to shut them.
Corrected entry: At the start of the film, Bowfinger patiently (and sincerely) explains that all films cost just $1240.00, and "Chubby Rain" will cost just that. At the time he hasn't even met Daisy, so he has no way of knowing that the developing and printing of the exposed film will be charged to her credit card. As another post points out, this expense alone is hugely more than his entire budget and when he commences production of Chubby Rain he has no way of covering the costs of this absolutely essential procedure. Did he not count a vital part of production - developing and printing exposed stock - as part of his budget? This is not a character mistake - he discusses lab costs throughout production of "Chubby Rain", so he knows perfectly well what is coming.
Correction: The correction makes absolutely no sense. Bowfinger only had $1240 available to him, and he had no way of knowing he could charge the printing and processing costs of Chubby Rain to a third party - he hadn't even met Daisy at that stage. He does not have the money to even start making his film.
Correction: He was not saying it costs $1240 seriously. He is well aware of the costs involved, but since he only had $1240 saved up, he was trying to convince his actors and crew that he could produce the film for $1240.
Corrected entry: After Obi-Wan cuts Darth Maul in half and he falls into the pit, You see Obi-Wan and his lightsaber is off, a couple of seconds later you see that his lightsaber is on, with no sound of it reactivating.
Correction: There is no shot of Kenobi with his lightsabre off - in one shot, the beam follows the line of the wall, making it less clear, but it is there.
Corrected entry: There must have been a scene deleted that deals with Fred Kwan smoking pot. The parts that support Fred's "activities" are that he is holding a large paper sack (maybe carrying snacks for when he gets the munchies or the pot itself) while signing autographs, on the spaceport, and on the planet while rolling the sphere back to the shuttle; Fred seemed VERY interested in getting something out of the vending machine as they were being sent to the ship; and last, and most obvious, is that Guy Flegman actually asks Fred if he is stoned when he comes up with the idea to transport the rock monster onto the ship.
Correction: This is pure supposition on the part of the submitter. As such, it cannot be considered valid trivia.
Correction: The rules of this site are perfectly clear - if you have to use slow motion to spot it, it is not a mistake.
