Question: What does the sequence with the fake Brill have to do with anything? I've watched this scene several times and can't find its significance in the film.

Visible crew/equipment: During Hi's dream sequence where he describes the lone biker from hell, at several points you can see the shadow of the camera car on the road and on the bottom left of the screen before the rabbit gets a grenade thrown at it. This is visible on the VHS version.

Audio problem: When the biker shows up at the end, Holly Hunter asks Cage what he is, to which Cage replies "Do you see it too?" but his mouth is not in sync with what he is saying.

Raising Arizona (1987)
Continuity mistake: At the end, when H.I. is being dragged out from underneath the pickup, watch the shadows made by the car; they grow longer, then short, then long again.

Breakdown (1997)
Revealing mistake: When Kurt is being chased after in the truck at the end, he pulls out onto the main highway and the truck skids. There are several tire marks where they practised this skid before. Also, at the very end when the truck is being pushed by the semi, look ahead of the front truck tire, more previous tire marks. (01:21:20)

The Goonies (1985)
Question: Anyone know why the scene with the Octopus was deleted for the DVD? Data mentions it and it is a continuity error on this site, I just want to know why they would have deleted it.
Chosen answer: It wasn't deleted for the DVD, it was never shown in the cinema or VHS either. The quality of the special effects octopus was such low quality, that they decided not to include it in the final cut of the film.
It was actually in the film at one time. I 100% watched it on VHS and in television growing up. I never understood why they took it out later. From what I read. Stephen Spielberg hated it so much they removed it later.

Enemy at the Gates (2001)
Continuity mistake: When Jude Law and Joseph Fiennes are walking through the Soviet Headquarters and talking about how the sniper never relocates, in the first scenes, Jude Law has no bandage on his wound on his head, however in the later close up shot there is a bandage, this within a few minutes. There definitely is no bandage present in the first scenes. (00:45:20)

Joy Ride (2001)
Factual error: In the scene where Lewis dials the police at the gas station, he says "Rawlins County Sheriff's Department please." There is no such county in Wyoming (where this particular scene is) named Rawlins County. He should have said Carbon County. Also, Table Rock is in Sweetwater County, and there are no police services there. (00:36:50)
Suggested correction: Many films and TV shows make up their own places.
Except in this film they're using real town names and they show a real map.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004)
Question: Roughly what percent of this movie was actually real as opposed to CGI?
Chosen answer: About 95% is CGI. The only real part of the movie was the actors themselves (and small objects they handle), with the exception of Dr. Totenkopf, portrayed using archive footage of Laurence Olivier. Everything else was CGI.

Cocoon: The Return (1988)
Visible crew/equipment: Near the end when Wilford and Don and Kitty are about to sneak into the Oceanic Center, they are scoping out the scene. As they turn the corner, the shot changes to a shot mounted on the hood looking right at Wilford. You can make out the top of the camera's shadow near the right windshield wiper. (01:30:45)

Breakdown (1997)
Visible crew/equipment: During the confrontation between the bad guy and Kurt at the first gas station (where he leaves his hood open,) the camera and two crew members can be seen in the passenger side window as the camera follows the bad guy walking along the Jeep. Look out for the boom mike reflected in the windshield in the same shot as well. Both are really obvious. (Not visible on DVD version).

Breakdown (1997)
Visible crew/equipment: During the scene where the car breaks down and pulls to a stop in the middle of the road there is a shot of Kurt Russel getting out of the car. Look in the passenger side door, you can make out a camera reflection. Also, look out for the reflection of a reflecting light in the window as Kurt goes to get the cell phone. This is most obvious when the door swings open. (00:08:25)

Breakdown (1997)
Revealing mistake: During the ending sequence, just as J.T. Walsh is pushing the truck on the bridge, there is a shot looking at the front of the semi and you can see that it is not J.T. Walsh driving. The stunt man is noticeably heavier than J.T. is, and his hair is messier.

Chosen answer: The fake Brill is an undercover federal agent trying to find out what Will Smith knows about the video tape.
Mister Ed
Poor writing though as that character is never spoke of again.
