Revealing mistake: As in the earlier part of the film, at the end when the Silver Hornet falls apart, the devices which make it do so are visible. Under the hood there is also a string attached to the piece that falls forward.

Continuity mistake: Walt picks up the first sandwich and the plate he dropped. He doesn't quite get everything. The camera angle changes and the floor is a lot cleaner now.

Continuity mistake: After the pilot's funeral, Matt walks through some grass to talk to Jed. In all of the previous shots and most of those after, there is snow on the ground because it's January. In this particular shot however, there is no snow, not even on the mountains behind them.

Visible crew/equipment: The two antagonists are talking about the Wolverines while standing in the street in town. This is moments before the building explosion goes off that Jennifer Grey planted. On the bottom of the frame, the shadow of the camera is visible.

Continuity mistake: The scene with two of the main antagonists talking in town about the Wolverines and Vietnam starts in the shade. Right before the explosion, the two men are now standing in sunlight.

Continuity mistake: Near the end Harvey Russell shows up as George is lying against the building. He notices George has "died" and has his mouth open. The camera angle changes and his mouth is closed. (01:36:20)

Continuity mistake: The sun changes considerably when Mike is scoping out the garage. At the beginning of the scene it is late afternoon. When the larger truck pulls in it is closer to noon.

Visible crew/equipment: While the team is investigating the space station debris at the wolf crash site, there is a low angle shot. The shadow of the camera is visible on one of the soldiers' feet. (00:21:50)

Visible crew/equipment: The camera, attached to a crane, is visible in one of the exterior shots at the skyscraper. This is before Vin and Paul find the car.

Revealing mistake: The explosion happens and Gabe and Jessie seek shelter in a small cave. Before the rocks start falling, Gabe bumps the wall of the cave and creates a hole in the set. This is noticeable on the left side of the screen.

Other mistake: After the stalactite kills the man, Gabe lets him down. Notice how there's no blood on it.

Continuity mistake: Travers and the other guy are chasing after the sky diver. In one shot where they almost catch him Travers noticeably falls head first before the scene cuts. He's then seen standing up like it didn't happen.

Visible crew/equipment: When everybody first comes in the main room with the chocolate river, there is a shot of all of them standing in the doorway. At the bottom of the scene is the shadow of the camera.

Other mistake: Near the end of the battle of Sterling after Wallace nearly hits one of his allies on the horse, look on the right side of the shot. An English man wearing metal armor is fighting some Scots. He doesn't make much effort, barely swinging his sword. The Scots fighting him also don't put up much of a challenge either.

Continuity mistake: When the woman is sunbathing topless, the sun goes from being overhead in the far shots to in front of her in the closer shots. See also the difference in exposure.

Trivia: Right before the first transport is away, there is a shot of Leia and others in the control room on Hoth. During this scene a clicking and screeching sound can be heard. It sounds like a clock ticking. This is a recording of a shortwave radio station CHU from Canada, complete with the second ticks.

Continuity mistake: During the first night when the pets hear animal noises and are scared, there are at least two angles when you can see it was shot during the day. It is dark in the other shots.
