Continuity mistake: In the cargo bay, when Fry and Amy say "clear", the address label on the crate is blank. When Amy moves the hoist from atop her head seconds later, the writing reappears.

Continuity mistake: When Homer is dressed as General Marriot Suites he's wearing white gloves but after he punches the guard the gloves have vanished. (01:03:30)

Continuity mistake: When the two officers start to chase the BMW, the officer on the passenger seat takes off his sunglasses and puts on normal glasses. In the next shot (from the point of view of the news team) he wears the sunglasses again. (00:07:40)

Continuity mistake: Kristy Swanson vomits from the passenger side window of her car; the resulting mess ends up on the windshield of the ill-defined musical sensation turned actor Henry Rollins' police car. The incredible force of Ms. Swanson's projectile vomiting notwithstanding, as the chase progresses, Mr. Rollins' windshield becomes magically squeegee clean!

Revealing mistake: The BMW crashes through a metal gate at the border but does not suffer as much as a scratch.

Continuity mistake: When Jack takes Natalie hostage he gets the store clerk to pass the guns. He kicks them to the other end of the store, camera cuts to Jack, then the guns and they have changed position. (00:04:50)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film when they're in the car, Natalie drops the cigarette lighter on Jack's trousers. Shortly afterward, the whole car is full of smoke. After they turn around a sharp corner, the camera switches to an outside shot in which the smoke is gone. In the next shot, back in the car, the smoke reappears. (00:10:40)

Continuity mistake: When circling the dome on the bike, it leaves tyre marks. The camera cuts to Bart and the marks have gone. (01:09:30)

Continuity mistake: When Homer is climbing the dome, there is a shot of the rope. No-one is climbing it, yet a few seconds before people were climbing the rope. (01:05:10)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the newscast (Day 37) is being watched on the TV at Moe's, in the first shot of the TV there is a dart in the roof, but in the long shot the dart is no longer in the roof. (00:43:40)

Continuity mistake: At the end when Homer is nailing the two tiles to the roof, they are yellow. The camera cuts and now they are red. (01:14:00)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where everyone is climbing the rope to get on the top of the dome, Homer should already be at the top, but when the camera points to the top of the dome, he does not appear there. The next scene shows him back at the top of the dome again. (01:05:15)

Continuity mistake: In a scene Milhouse comes out of a house there is nothing in the yard, a long time passes, nearly ten minutes, Nelson comes over and there is a large rock in the yard. (00:09:40)

Continuity mistake: When the dome is being lowered over Springfield, The amount of choppers carrying the dome changes depending on the shot. (00:26:20)

Continuity mistake: Milhouse is seen when Lisa is looking for Colin and a few frames later he is in the middle of the town with no time to move there. (01:13:40)

Continuity mistake: When the family move to Alaska, the door to their cabin opens to the left (looking at it from the inside) when Homer escapes from Bart and Lisa's "avalanche". But later in the film it opens to the right (from the inside). (00:46:25 - 00:52:05)

Continuity mistake: When Homer is on the wrecking ball, he hits a fork on one side but in the next shot it vanishes. (01:01:00)

Continuity mistake: The clock on the bomb instantly jumps several seconds despite instant cuts. It goes 17, 16, *instant cut* 11, 10. (01:09:40)

Continuity mistake: When the Simpsons see the nooses in their backyard, you see Jimbo and Kearney put a pacifier on Maggie's noose, but in the next shot where you can see the nooses, the pacifier is gone. (00:34:15)
