Other mistake: Right at the end of the episode, Phoebe's got a job interview. We see the outside of a massage parlour, but the name on the awning has been superimposed - it moves about a bit while the shot itself is still.(00:20:45)
Continuity mistake: DMX uses his Porsche to slide a dumpster into the vehicle following him, staying in contact right up to the impact, so by rights the back of his car ought to be wrecked, but in all the scenes afterwards when we see his Porsche, it doesn't have a scratch on it.(00:31:30)
Trivia: In the trailers (on the radio in the UK, anyway), there's a bit with Hugh Grant saying something like "This is no job for a grown up - drinking without being responsible...actually, it doesn't sound that bad". This was never in the finished film.
Trivia: Random point. The hiker who stops Ewan McGregor during his escape is Timothy Olyphant, in only his second film role. You may not know the name, but he went on to play the killer in Scream 2, a drug dealer in Go, and a detective in Gone in 60 Seconds. Well, I was surprised.
Trivia: The library proprietor is listed in the credits as "Brian Connelly", but his name's actually "Brian Conley" - he's a comic/TV presenter in the UK. No reason why he can't be playing a straight role, but it was a bit of a surprise when he suddenly popped up!(01:06:15 - 01:42:20)
Continuity mistake: The book Sean Bean takes is quite narrow when it's in his pocket, but when we see him reading it later (definitely meant to be the same book), it's about 50% thicker. It was also originally a hardback, but when he's reading it he's bending the cover like a paperback. After he drops it, it becomes a hardback again.(00:07:50 - 00:15:55)
Continuity mistake: After the final battle, Christian Bale has blood on his collar, dribbling down it in three or four places. In a few close-up shots though, the collar only has a very small amount of blood, right on the edge.(01:38:30)
Continuity mistake: When the bed with Peter Sellers on it starts lowering, from one angle the bed's dropped below the level of the ground around it, but then in a closer shot of Peter Sellers, we can see behind him that it's not moved. The next, wider, shot shows that we should have seen the hole's walls behind him.(00:49:50)
Continuity mistake: In "The One With the Sharks", Phoebe talks to Joey about how he's never been in a long term relationship. He has been, though - Angela Delveccio, who he went out with for three years.(00:21:40)
Trivia: Not a mistake, but something I just noticed on about the 5th viewing. In the very creepy 'I've given very serious thought...to eating your wife' bit, during the ominous pause in the middle a fly crawls down the back/side of Anthony Hopkins' head, then flies around a bit. Can't be helped, and barely noticable, but it does wreck the mood a bit.(01:14:59)
Continuity mistake: When Inspector Pazzi introduces 'Dr. Fell' to his wife, in a wider shot she has her hand on her husband's shoulder, just sliding off as the shot cuts. In the closer shot we cut to, however, her hand's back on his shoulder.(01:04:53)
Continuity mistake: When Bourne is escaping from the Embassy, he drops the bag, which hits some metal thing on the way down, making it wobble to and fro. The camera cuts away while it's still moving and we see the marines coming upstairs. When Bourne climbs under the fire escape, we can see down to the ground and the metal thing's stopped moving. All well and good, except after the marines leave Bourne looks down, and in that shot the metal thing is moving again, then stops - obviously the rest of the shot we saw before.(00:23:46)
Continuity mistake: When the guy holding the mayor hostage gets thrown out of the window, we see the only two TV cameras near the location follow his fall down to the ground. A few seconds later on the news though, the footage is the same shot we saw in the film, staying focused on the window.(00:39:55)
Continuity mistake: Just after George Clooney's friend has been killed, he roars off in his car, banging the BMWs. A bit of plastic each side of the bumper falls open, nearly coming off. A few shots later the car's driving towards the camera and they're both back in place.(00:46:50)
Continuity mistake: When Bond's fighting in the lift, Tiffany comes out of her flat - she has her arms by her side as she sees the battle going on. After a cut, she's suddenly tucked against the door frame with her arms tucked in against her chest.
Continuity mistake: When Robocop's car gets hit by the rocket at the start, it spins to a halt with all the doors closed. When we cut to the guy with the launcher, the car's in the background but the driver's door is now open.
Continuity mistake: When John Travolta's daughter slams her bedroom door in his face, from one shot it nearly closes, but in another shot he blocks it when it's still got a long way to go.(00:54:35)
Continuity mistake: When Troy (as Archer) arrives home for the first time, he's walking around his wife. When he says her name, his right hand is held up. From a different angle as he moves to her right, his hands are by his side.(00:52:50)
