Other mistake: September 12, 1973 - as Pat Phoenix walks through a door, the camera smacks into the back of her head with an audible thump. Once she enters the room, she glances angrily back at the crew, and a boom mic drops into shot to boot.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning (2023)
Other mistake: Ethan (in disguise) throws some gas grenades in the office where the security heads are meeting - there's a massive explosion. Bright green gas fills the room... And everyone working on the typewriters in the room below completely ignores this, despite having a clear view into the glass window/wall of the office above. Even after a couple of minutes of Ethan and Kittridge talking, the phone rings with someone checking on them, rather than security busting in the door immediately.
Suggested correction: The three explosions aren't especially loud. The sound would likely easily be deadened by the walls and windows. The resulting powder (not gas) that's released is only present for a few seconds before dissipating. Since everyone in the typing pool is so focused on their work, it's quite possible it went unnoticed.

Fast X (2023)
Other mistake: Dante and The Agency both have extensive photos and videos of the team's previous exploits. Trouble is that most of it is simply stills and footage from the previous movies in the franchise, often occasions when nobody was around with a camera to witness and document what was going on, certainly not at the angles we see.

Castle (2009)
Other mistake: Beckett points out to the murderous security guard that some graffiti magically appears on the tape, showing the live image was replaced with older pre-recorded footage. "Do you see that? It's actually kinda hard to spot." Except the graffiti doesn't appear at the point where the live feed restarts (when the guard enters the shot), it only appears on the footage after a cut away and then back.

Lucifer (2015)
The Angel of San Bernardino - S3-E20
Other mistake: Lucifer's obsession with Bones is highlighted here when he confronts someone as a killer only to realise it's because he's an actor who played a killer in the Bones episode Intern in the Incinerator (a role Scott Rinker did play in real life). Kevin Alejandro (Dan) and Aimee Garcia (Ella) also played roles in Bones, which Lucifer never comments on. In fact so did Jeremiah Birkett (Lee Garner, "Mr. Said Out Bitch").

Lucifer (2015)
A Chance At a Happy Ending - S5-E16
Other mistake: After Amenadiel's necklace pin is removed, Chloe tells lucifer to get the blade, and he picks it up with the hilt still attached. But we saw in an earlier season that without that pin to hold it all together, the hilt just falls off.

Riddick (2013)
Other mistake: Matthew Nable plays "Boss" Johns, the father of William J. Johns in Pitch Black, who was played by Cole Hauser. But the two actors are only a couple of years apart in age - Nable doesn't look anywhere near old enough to be Hauser's father. Would have made more sense for him to be an older brother.

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Other mistake: In the hot dog finger universe, everyone uses their feet for dexterous things, like playing the piano...but the pianos themselves are still designed exactly like our universe, at waist height where it's convenient for playing with hands, but very uncomfortable to play with your feet.

Boston Legal (2004)
Other mistake: As Denny asks "did she sleep in your room?" Alan leaves Denny's hotel room, pulling the door behind him. The swinging door catch is in the closed position, sticking out from the door frame which would prevent the door from being able to shut - the shot cuts a fraction before impact and we hear the sound of the door closing anyway.

The Orville (2017)
Other mistake: This comes up in other sci-fi scenarios too - the shuttle is heading down to the planet's surface through heavy cloud cover/disturbances. Everyone acknowledges it'll be a bumpy ride, and the flight down is very fast and tense, trying to keep track of escorts, etc. But there's no need for it to be a fast entry. Their ships aren't aeroplanes which have a minimum speed and have to keep moving forwards. They could just hover and lower slowly through the clouds at a safe speed.

Captain Marvel (2019)
Other mistake: The fingerprint scanner in the room where Fury and Vers are detained is inconsistent. Fury tries it, and the scanning line moves quite fast before rejecting him with a red light. Vers tries it and there isn't a scanning line at all, it just flashes red. Then when using the fingerprint lifted from his ID, there's a much slower scanning line before it flashes green and unlocks.

Fast Five (2011)
Other mistake: Hobbs asks to see all footage from "in and around Waterloo station." The technician is then asked to "bring up cameras 58 through 62." 5 cameras to cover the entirety of that area is laughable.

The Marine (2006)
Other mistake: In the standoff in the bar, Robert Patrick fires about 22 rounds from his handgun, then runs outside without reloading and fires even more into the propane tank under the bar. No way his gun holds that many bullets.

Justified (2010)
Other mistake: Ava previously borrowed a razor from another inmate to tidy up her unevenly-hacked hair. All well and good, except especially when seen from behind her hair has been perfectly bobbed and tapered, hardly possible doing it herself in a prison bathroom with a razor.

Justified (2010)
Other mistake: Raylan fires two shots into the above-ground pool, but it springs three leaks. Looking closely it does appear that Timothy Olyphant squeezed the trigger three times, but one blank must have misfired, and the three squibs went off regardless.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Other mistake: After realising they can track the mother box, Batman says they have to go back to his base to use one of his satellites to track it, and they all do so. Which completely ignores the fact that Cyborg could easily access the satellite feed directly using his abilities and display it to the others on any nearby screen in Star Labs.
Suggested correction: Just because he had many options available to him, does not mean that the option which he chose was wrong.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Other mistake: Barry comes back to his home, replaces the fuse in the fuse box, flips the handle (begs the question of why remove the fuse AND turn off the switch, but whatever), and within 2 seconds every screen in the place is lit up. Sure, a TV might come on that fast, but plenty of those screens are showing data, analysis, etc, running off computers, which would take longer than that to boot up and get everything running.

The Mandalorian (2019)
Chapter 16: The Rescue - S2-E8
Other mistake: The highly advanced and powerful Dark Troopers, when faced with a closed blast door, punch it repeatedly with their fists rather than simply prying the two doors apart. Even having dented it slightly, they don't wedge their hands into the cracks to open it, they just keep slowly denting it...more.
Suggested correction: The reason why the Dark Troopers didn't wedge their hands through the door was because during that time the door was already closed shut when they arrived at the bay door. If you watch at the beginning where Mando was trying to close the door before the Dark Troopers and exit their station but as Mando was closing the door the door wasn't fully closed but it was closing, so a Dark Trooper used its hand to open the door while the door was closing. If the door was closed then they would have punched their way through. And as you can see if you watch one dark trooper escaped but the others had to punch their way though.
Not my point. They manage to dent the door easily enough. So when faced with a closed door they could have made a dent, then put their hands into that crack to pull the sides apart. But they don't, they just keep slowly hammering it. They weren't punching through, just denting it, pointlessly.
The first Dark Trooper also punches the Mandalorian's helmet repeatedly instead of any other fighting move, and the Dark Troopers try to punch their way through the blast doors on the cruiser's bridge instead of cutting, tearing or shooting their way in. It seems their programming is limited in this way. This is still a mistake but it becomes a deliberate mistake or a character mistake.

Payback (1999)
Other mistake: When they crash head on into the gang's car before robbing them, in the brief shot inside showing the impact Mel Gibson's head whips forward as you'd expect, while his passenger's head doesn't.
