A Dark Knight: A Beautiful Darkness - S4-E13
Audio problem: Near the start, as Gordon tells the crook "how about you exercise your right to remain silent", the shot cuts and we can hear the audio from the different take which hasn't been spliced in properly. As a result the line actually is heard as "right to remain silent-silent."

Question: I get that this may be an involved answer! They say the 2D beings are likely unaware of their presence, "because the cross-section is so small." But surely that doesn't really matter - a 3D person could be sliced in half by a wire the thickness of a hair, and they'd still be killed, so doesn't that apply to 2D being as well? They'll be leaving a trail of destruction in their wake, cutting buildings in half, etc., and none of them seem to care.

Continuity mistake: When the lab tech is talking about the plane part, she places a Surface Dial on the screen. Throughout the entire scene the Dial keeps moving around between instant cuts, sometimes more towards the right edge, sometimes more towards the center. In one shot it's right at the bottom edge, then in the very next shot it's further up the screen. And shortly afterwards, when the lab tech says "they're too precise", it's off the screen entirely and lying on the desk.

Continuity mistake: Towards the end, Leia is talking to Rey in the hanger. In a shot facing Leia she looks down, then we cut to Rey and Leia, seen in profile, is instantly looking up, straight ahead.

Continuity mistake: Rey steps forwards to hand over Luke's lightsaber, then takes a couple of steps back. The shot cuts and they're suddenly much further apart.

Continuity mistake: Logan tries to give the Professor an injection, who pushes him away and falls over. As he falls back his left sleeve is still rolled up - the shot cuts and it's instantly right down to his wrist.

Continuity mistake: On the subway while John and Cassian eyeball each other, from the front there's no-one in front of Cassian, just a guy in a hat off to the side. But from the back, another man appears between them.
Suggested correction: You can see the edge of that guy cut off on the edge of the shot he is there, that grey hair and that same jacket.

Continuity mistake: After the motorcyclist crashes into John's car, in the wider shot all John's headlights are on, then as he gets out, all but one are off. (00:02:15)

Continuity mistake: After Diana crashes through the window, there are various bits of wooden debris on the floor in front of her. In a wider angle those bits have vanished.

Continuity mistake: As Diana is translating in the General's office, one of the buttons on her coat is undone/missing. As she approaches his desk, it's suddenly visible on her coat where it should be.

Continuity mistake: When Beverly kisses Bill, in one angle his ear is between her fingers, from another her entire hand is on his cheek. The blood smear she leaves behind also changes. (02:08:20)

Continuity mistake: As Dom escapes the grappling hooks, the cars get wrecked. He crawls out from his car and the silver briefcase is within arm's reach, right next to double yellow lines. Only problem is, in the earlier shot from above, he crashed nowhere near lines like that, and there was no briefcase there either.

Continuity mistake: Dom escapes his crew by crashing through a flower stall, leaving flowers and other debris on his car. Just seconds later we see his car again and it's pristine - it looks like it's just been washed.

Continuity mistake: Dom dives out of the burning car and lands on the concrete sidewalk, but then a different shot shows him getting up from the road. No way he could have reversed all that forwards momentum and rolled backwards.

Answer: The book "Flatland", which is mentioned in the show, is a real book that may answer your questions in full (it's the story of a 3-D being experiencing the 2-D world and the 1-D world). In the 2-D world, there is no height, so there's no way to slice anything in half (horizontally). A being living in the 2-D world sees any object or being as a line (it's messy, but the lines have thickness, just not height, but all thickness is the same). So if the Orville was seen, it would only be seen 2 dimensionally and be seen as a line and others beings could just move out of the way. While there were buildings in "Flatland", perhaps this world doesn't have any, or the Orville didn't bump into any. There is death in "Flatland" when a being isn't careful and is poked, but these are usually by lines and triangles and the Orville would more like the circles and not in danger of poking anything.
