Revealing mistake: After Hagrid says, "Dry up, Dursley, you great prune," in the next shot just as Vernon fires the bent gun, before the hole actually appears, the light at the muzzle end illuminates the floor above and the outline of the pre-made hole is visible. (00:13:35)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: While sitting on the couch in the hut on the rock, Hagrid asks, "Did you ever make anything happen, anything you couldn't explain? When you were angry or scared?" In the shot when he's getting up off the couch, it is blatantly apparent that the fingers on his left hand are latex in this shot. The hands are visibly artificial in other shots as well. (00:15:30)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: In the shots facing Vernon, he holds the first Hogwarts letter while sitting at the table. Though in the close-up of the letter as he holds it, it is not Richard Griffiths' hand, that is shown with bitten up fingernails, holding the envelope. (00:09:15)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: The spectator towers nearest the castle cast shadows on the Quidditch pitch throughout the match, albeit differently in some shots. From within the pitch, when facing the castle, the towers that cast shadows are between Gryffyndor, the last tower on the left and Slytherin the last tower on the right. When Malfoy flies up from below the stands and slams to the ground he lands in front of the opposite side, with the black/white faculty towers, between Ravenclaw on one end and Hufflepuff on the other end, which do not cast shadows on the pitch. Yet, as Harry closes in on the Snitch with his broken arm, in the shot facing the Snitch as his left hand reaches out and in the next shot that faces Harry as he seizes the Snitch, the towers between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are the ones that cast shadows on the pitch. (00:56:55)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: From within the Quidditch pitch, when facing one set of three goal posts the last spectator tower to the left is Ravenclaw and Gryffindor tower is last to the right and when facing the other set of goal posts Slytherin tower is last to the left and Hufflepuff tower is last to the right. After the Bludger breaks Harry's arm, in the shot facing the Snitch, as Harry's hand reaches for it, directly in FRONT of Harry are the goal posts between Slytherin and Hufflepuff towers. Then in the next shot facing Harry, as he reaches and catches Snitch, those same goal posts are directly BEHIND Harry. Yet, when he lands in the sand, he is at those very goal posts. (00:57:20)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: When Harry sits in the Gryffindor common room with the diary, in the close-up, the name Tom Marvolo Riddle is gold embossed on the back cover. However in the previous shot, when Harry lifts the diary off the floor in the lavatory, both sides are clearly visible and the name is NOT on either side, nor is it seen on either side when Harry first takes it from Ginny's arm and when he closes it to stab the cover with the Basilisk fang. The name is also NOT embossed on the cover when Dumbledore holds it up in his study or in the close-up of the other side when he places it on the desk in front of Harry and Lucius Malfoy. (01:27:10 - 02:15:10)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: At the Quidditch match, in the close-up when the Bludger knocks off Harry's arm guard, his right arm below the elbow is very conspicuously digitally augmented. When Harry falls toward the sand and unlocks his legs from around the broom, his legs below the knees, especially his right leg, are digitally augmented as well. (Second shot is more visible in DVD fullscreen.) (00:57:10)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: At the Quidditch match, the goal posts are visible at both ends of the pitch in many shots, including the shortest ones. When rushing to Harry, Hermione shouts, "Finite Incantatem!" In the shot of Ron and Hermione's backs as they run towards Harry, the short goal post's base is visible on the left. It is completely different in this close-up than in any of the wide shots. (00:54:40 - 00:57:45)

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets mistake picture

Revealing mistake: During the Quidditch match, just after the close-ups of Snape and Lucius Malfoy, there is a shot of Harry flying towards the camera, coming to stop, with Draco Malfoy flying in beside him and in this shot the goal posts cast a shadow on the sand. Malfoy remarks, "All right there, Scarhead?" and Harry looks down below at the approaching Bludger. Now in this shot, not only do the goal posts have a completely different shadow, there are no hoops at the top of the poles' shadows (while the angle might make them hard to spot, putting everything in a line, the shadows should at least thicken at the top where the hoops are). (00:54:10)

Revealing mistake: The appearance of Harry's scar differs in some close-ups. For example, at the Quidditch match, in Harry's first close-up his scar has an outline and is thicker than other shots. Other examples are, in Harry's first close-up as he flies behind Malfoy below the pitch stands and also when he reaches for the Snitch after his arm breaks. (00:53:35 - 00:55:50)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: The Ford Anglia's front seats keep changing. When Ron, Fred and George are rescuing Harry from the Dursleys, the front passenger seat has a curved thin back and is very dark blue with light blue trim at each side. However some examples when it differs are, as Harry hangs from the car while flying over Hogwarts Express, though the seat has a curved back, in some shots the seat is two shades of light blue and in others it is as in the shots at the Dursleys. Yet at Hogwarts, when the car ejects Hedwig, the back of the seat is thick and perfectly sraight and so on. (00:09:35 - 00:25:05)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: When Lockhart says, "I must ask you not to scream. It might..," as he says, "Provoke them," the first shot is a close-up of Lockhart as he begins to remove the cloth. Next is a close-up of the cage as Lockhart reveals the pixies. Lockhart's face is clearly visible and it is not Kenneth Branagh who is mouthing the words, "Provoke them," that were already heard in the previous shot. (00:36:10)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: As Harry climbs the Salazar Slytherine stone head's locks of hair, the Basilisk crashes his face and creates the first immense hole. As Harry tries to climb higher, it pounds into the stone again creating another huge hole, higher up on another lock of hair, to Harry's left as he hangs on. However, when the Basilisk smashes his face into the stone a third time, as Harry nears the top, the second huge hole is GONE, in this shot and in the first wide shot in which Tom Riddle is visible. (02:13:05)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: After Harry yells, "Wood, look out!" Harry ducks to avoid the Bludger and flies away. In the following close-up of Harry, there are two reflections in each of the lenses of his glasses. The reflections were added deliberately for this shot, however, as he sweeps around the pitch, changing direction as he goes, the reflections should reflect the change in scenery around him, but it does NOT. (00:54:35)

Revealing mistake: As Errol swoops down, there are various angles that he's seen flying over students for the drama, however the last ones are very different. First, an overhead wide shot of the dining hall. Second, heading towards the camera, as Fred and George sit on the left. Third, an overhead of the Gryffindor table. The next two differ completely. First a long pan as Errol flies between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff tables, way past Fred, George and Ron's stand-in, who sit in front of the fireplace, causing some students at Gryffindor table to lean FORWARD, so Errol doesn't hit their backs as he goes off screen to the left. Next shot, Errol flies toward the camera passing Fred, George and the rest, who dramatically lean BACKWARD in this shot, as Errol flies over their table between them. (00:33:45)

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets mistake picture

Revealing mistake: Harry and Ron's trunks are being thrown out of the car and in the shot just before Harry's close-up, Ron's trunk (the other trunk says HP) slams down on the grass. The top of this trunk has a large perfectly symmetrical hole in the center with four round marks around it, which was probably involved in the throwing somehow. In the wide shot as Hedwig is being tossed out, the trunks are clearly visible and there is no hole in either, nor is there a hole in Ron's trunk at any other time. (00:28:10)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: When Harry and the Weasleys are standing on Platform 10, it is Ginny's turn to go, in this shot Ron's trunk is clearly visible, note the stains, the latch hardware on the right long side, the corner hardware at the four corners, etc. After Mr. and Mrs. Weasley go, Harry says, "Let's go!" and as they begin to run, Ron's trunk is clearly seen again and it is NOT the same trunk, note the stains, the lack of hardware at the right, no hardware at the four corners, etc, plus the small parcels near Scabbers are different too. (00:22:30)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: When the limb of the Whomping Willow crashes through the back window of the car, the hole changes shape in certain shots. In the first interior shot, as the branch goes through, the hole that is made is completely different than in the next exterior shot, as the tree branch leaves. (no pun intended) (00:27:20)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: While in the Whomping Willow, there is a shot from the interior of the car showing the windshield receiving two large cracks. In the next exterior shot, as the camera pans out while the boys scream, the blue hood of car is seen (with the lack of wiper blades) and the windshield has NO damage whatsoever, as well as when the tree limb comes through the back window, in the two front shots the blue hood is seen and the windshield is intact again. (00:27:15)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: When Harry takes floo powder, in the wide shot Mrs. Weasley grips the pot with her right hand outstretched, her thumb at the top and the other fingers below, but in the next close-up of the pot, the pot is held by both of her hands around the pot. In the close-up of Mrs. Weasley holding the pot, the hands are not Julie Walters' (Mrs. Weasley) hands. (00:14:45)
