Revealing mistake: When Agamemnon and the Greeks charge at the Trojans after Menelaus is killed, in the close-ups during the melee, quite a few of the spears actually wobble in the soldiers' hands, like for example, when the Apollonians throw their spears. (01:18:20)

Troy (2004)

Revealing mistake: When Ajax slams the hammer end of his spear into a man, he has his shield at his back. The top arrow in the shield is bent at a 90° angle and as Ajax moves the top (plastic) arrow droops down and the bottom arrow actually flops around. While still in the same location, when he sticks his spear into the sand and pulls the arrow out of his thigh, the arrows on his shield are gone. (00:42:20)

Troy (2004)

Revealing mistake: As the vast army of Greeks approach the shores of Troy, there is a close-up of Eudorus' legs as he makes his way to Achilles at the bow of the ship. As he walks, the very thick rubber soles with lovely, intricate, modern treads are perfectly visible on his old fashioned sandals with each step that he takes. Countless times the treads are actually identical on different character's sandal's soles. (00:35:55)

Revealing mistake: In many extreme close-ups, the large white reflector screens are clearly reflected in the eyes of the actors and actresses. (00:40:20 - 01:11:10)

Troy (2004)
Revealing mistake: After Achilles and the Myrmidons arrive on shore, the Trojans let loose a barrage of fiery arrows, and when one lands in the thigh of a man still aboard the ship, the fake leg skin around the protruding arrow is quite obvious. (00:39:45)

Revealing mistake: The characteristics of the severe scars on Ajax's forehead, cheek and shoulders differ significantly in his close-ups. (00:41:35)

Wonder Woman (1976)

Revealing mistake: When Wonder Woman (Diana) uses her bracelets to dodge bullets, the many sparks that the bracelets emit, as the bullets hit, are controlled by wired remotes held in Lynda Carter's hands. They are quite visible in her fists in many episodes. Small red bits around the circumference of the bracelets also appear, which provide the flashing spark special effects.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Revealing mistake: While on the balcony at Minas Tirith, Pippin asks, "Is there any hope, Gandalf, for Frodo and Sam?" and in the next back shot of Gandalf standing beside Pippin, the Mordor 'storm' brews in the CG distance. The dome of a building is directly in front of them, to the right. When the beacon of Minas Morgul rises to the sky, there is another back shot of Gandalf and Pippin. In this shot that building with the dome is gone, though it should be visible! (This has nothing to do with camera angles. Extended Edition.) (00:53:40 - 00:57:25)

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Revealing mistake: In this shot at Minas Tirith, Gandalf says, "Peregrin Took, my lad, there is a task now to be done," as they walk out from under the archway and pass a particular tall white stone building, on their immediate right, as they continue to walk on. After Gandalf says, "You must not fail me," Pippin runs toward a building and as the camera pans up the very distinct markings on the large stones are identical to the markings on the stone building in the previous shot. Obviously it's the same building used in both shots of different areas. This type of thing occurs numerous times in the film. (01:00:15)

Spy Kids (2001)
Revealing mistake: As the army of robots approach, there are close-ups of Ms. Gradenko smiling, and as she claps her hands her fake scalp wrinkles up where it meets her real forehead. Teri Hatcher's bald cap is blatantly obvious in quite a few shots. (01:16:45)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Revealing mistake: Just after Harry attacks Snape at the Shrieking Shack, he insists on knowing about Peter Pettigrew. In the next shot, as Lupin says, "He was at school with us. We thought he was our friend," there are wedges under the wheels of the piano, however, in the following shots they're gone. (01:34:10)

Revealing mistake: Before robo-Carmen punches the wall, the painted uneven plaster surface actually changes between two shots, as her fist makes contact. Then in robo-Carmen's close-up and next shot looking up, it's clear that only the exterior slabs of pre-cut painted plaster come loose and fall from the hollow interior, differing with the large chunks of interior plaster on the floor in the next shot. Revealing mistake: Throughout the shots of the corridors in Floop's castle, the many works of art, light fixtures, etc., are repetitive, despite the fact that they are supposed to be different corridors. Although one can say there are identical works of art and so forth, in the multitude of corridors, however even the painted uneven surface of the walls surrounding the art, etc., are perfectly identical.

Revealing mistake: After Carmen rescues Juni, as they fly over the city she says, "Hang on butterfingers." In the following close-ups, where is the handcuff with the broken chain on Juni's wrist? He is not wearing it on either wrist in any of these close-ups. It's obviously back in the following shots. (00:41:45)

Spy Kids (2001)
Revealing mistake: After Carmen rescues Juni, they fly over the city and she yells, "I'm not gonna drop you!" Before Carmen drops Juni, as she loses her grip of him and he slips, three of the BuddyPack harness straps around Carmen actually come apart from the fourth center locking mechanism in the close-up!! Needless to say once the harness unlocks the powerful BuddyPack would immediately fly off and Carmen would fall, she would never even have the chance to reattach the four point harness. (00:41:50)

Spy Kids (2001)
Revealing mistake: Ingrid and Gregorio jump and fall in front of Minion, Lisp and Ms. Gradenko. When Gregorio says, "Lisp! I should have known you were behind this," Minion has his right hand spread against his chest and the latex skin of the fake hand is peeled away from his four real fingers. Then as Gregorio and Ingrid are detained, the latex is peeled away from Minion's real thumb. After Machete leaps through the puzzle window, the peeling around Minion's fingers is once again visible. Revealing mistake: When the BuddyPack zooms toward Ms. Gradenko at the safehouse it lifts her into the air and she flies backwards. In the shot facing her, the center bar of the wicker frame on the back of the bench is gone for the stunt, whereas in the previous shots it's intact. (00:40:00)

Spy Kids (2001)
Revealing mistake: The wicker bench in front of the coffee table changes position in quite a few shots, but none more noticeable than when the BuddyPack flies straight at Ms. Gradenko. When she moans, "What's wrong with you? They're just children," it's directly in front of the table, but in the next shot as Ms. Gradenko is lifted off her feet, the bench is moved towards the center for the stunt. (00:40:05)

Revealing mistake: When Juni saves Foogle and they run out of the Virtual Room, a Thumb Thumb appears in the corridor. This Thumb Thumb, being real as opposed to CG, has wide back wedges at its heel to support the body inside. (01:07:35)
