Continuity mistake: When the volcano's lava floods the village, there's a wide shot of the mountains and the volcano and you can see that the lava is still running down the volcano, not near the village.

Continuity mistake: The guy's whose head is put in a vice has a trail of blood running along the left side of his mouth which appears/disappears randomly between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the firemen are about to grab the hose and it explodes, note that the other hose inside the truck on the right side has changed positions between shots.

Continuity mistake: Nuclear Man walks towards the newspaper where Lucy's picture is, for a brief moment there's a light smoke coming from behind him as if something was burning (it has nothing to do with the smoke Nuclear produces when flying) which is later gone (according to SupermanIV.com a deleted scene involved Nuclear Man waking up, "he sees and picks up the newspaper with Lacy, which then catches on fire in his hand.").

Continuity mistake: Before Nuclear Man see Lacy's picture in the newspaper, he rises from the floor and a wide angle reveals that the table is nowhere around, yet a couple shots later it simply appears half a meter away from him.

Continuity mistake: When Lois visits sick Clark she stands by the door, fully lit, a frame later, when the angle changes, the whole place is in the shadows.

Continuity mistake: When Superman first meets Mr Warfield, the orange pencil on the table changes positions between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Superman stops the train there are two thick black tubes next to the tunnel behind which disappear when he leaves.

Continuity mistake: After Karen's been harassed by her neighbour, Henry drives her home and tells her to walk home. When Henry steps out, she's nowhere to be seen. She couldn't have walked all the way to the house in that short time. She couldn't have run, either, being as weary as she was.

Continuity mistake: When Superman lifts the plane during the storm, after the pilot asks what's going on, the copilot glances at the window grabbing its side. From the opposite angle he is away, repeating all movements.

Continuity mistake: Thing, Johnny and Reed are at the disco. Johnny steps forward and Reed grabs him and says "We had a deal". A frame later Johnny is not two meters ahead but aligned with Reed.

Continuity mistake: Johnny chases the Surfer, who surfs down a building and shatters its windows and facade, yet none of the debris fall or even appear on the street in the next shots.

Continuity mistake: When the helicopter is being stopped by Susan, the bridesmaid's hair moves wildly, yet when the chopper gets closer and is about to kill her, her flowers and hair barely move, despite being inches away from the tail rotors and rotor blades.

Continuity mistake: When the helicopter plummets into the wedding terrace, its nose is either pointing the right side or the left, depending on the shot. No continuity at all.

Continuity mistake: When the movie starts, Reed and Susan are in an airport, with a couple of stewardesses walking behind them. When the shot changes, a young woman has replaced them, yet a shot later they reappear behind.
