Continuity mistake: When Lois drives to the UN Lacy is not in the car. Half a second later she appears inside.

Continuity mistake: When Superman walks to the UN there's a mounted police man on the right. Shot changes, and he's suddenly on the far left. Shot changes again, and he's now meters ahead, on the left of the UN entrance.

Continuity mistake: When Nathan arrives late to work he extends his right arm to take his jacket off and then lowers it. From the opposite angle his arm is extended, and he lowers it again.

Continuity mistake: Nuclear man flies over the Russian parade and looks to his right. Then stops and stares in front and shoots fire balls at the tank below. Problem is the parade, tank and everything is taking place behind him (a matte painting). Laserdisc and international extended editions).

Continuity mistake: When Nuclear Man approaches the tornado the clouds and tornado move at normal speed except for the shot of Nuclear in front of the tornado, where it moves in slow motion. Later on, before the family exits the house the tornado moves in slo-mo again. (Laserdisc and international extended editions).

Continuity mistake: When Superman flies to save the girl inside the tornado and the family exits the basement there's a truck by the entrance door filled with hay. Continuity mistake: Rock asks Anthony if he's going to give her joystick back. Her left arm is raised and then she lowers it. From a different angle it's still raised.

Continuity mistake: Carrie's pancakes arrive, and she grabs the napkin on the left. Shot changes, and she's now holding the knife and cutting the pancakes.

Continuity mistake: When Miranda and Carrie talk about guilt Miranda grabs the glass form the upper part. Shot changes and she is now holding the middle part. Also, a couple seconds later she holds it close to her face or lower, depending on the shot. (00:05:59)

Continuity mistake: The tornado rips off the farm's roof, but it magically reappears with the house in perfect state after Superman arrives with the girl. He didn't have time to fix it. (Laserdisc and international extended editions).

Continuity mistake: When Superman walks towards the UN entrance there's a lot of people between him and the red car. A shot later the people have vanished and him and the kid are standing right next to the car.

Continuity mistake: Seema arrives at Miranda's place holding a bottle that points in a 3 o'clock position, but a shot later it points in an 11 o'clock position. This changes back and forth depending on the angle.

Continuity mistake: When Mary Jane falls off the balcony she falls sideways except for a shot of her falling face down. Shot changes and she is falling sideways again.
