Continuity mistake: In court, Sherman plays Maria's voice and protects the loudspeaker with both hands. When the lawyer jumps on top of him, a frame later, he's covering it with just one hand.

Continuity mistake: When stuck in the Bronx, Sherman speeds up and passes by a yellow car, but from a different angle, the cars around are white and red.

Continuity mistake: After becoming human, Ariel swims and rest on a floating rock amidst the sea. A frame later she is laying on a rocky wall by the shore.

Continuity mistake: During the eels scene, when Ariel is crying, the stone she lays on is a single stone laying almost flat on the sand; then swaps to a double stone, and when she sends the eels away it is a single stone though way steeper, standing upright.

Continuity mistake: When Ursula arrives at her mirror, most of the shells on the stands disappear in the second shot.

Continuity mistake: When Ariel is crying and Sebastian comes to comfort her, there's a vase, two planks and a small bottle behind her. When the angle changes, every object is different, even the area looks much wider.

Continuity mistake: The first time we see Ursula, the oyster keeps changing shape in every single angle.

Continuity mistake: When Ariel and Flounder visit scuttle to show him the fork, the anchor swaps from laying flat on the sand, to standing-up laying a rock, and finally hanging loose resting against nothing.

Continuity mistake: When Ariel grabs the fork the prongs on the side are skewed. When scuttle grabs it, just the one on the right is, the rest look perfect.

Continuity mistake: While Flounder is chased by the shark, moss suddenly appears on the anchor.

Continuity mistake: While investigating the sunken ship, Ariel is about to see the fork, she swims upwards towards a hole where a broken log stands out on the left. When the angle changes, the hole is completely different and the log is gone.
