Continuity mistake: When J is shown the time-jump gear, the box is to the left of a pair of earphones and just an inch away from the log journal in front. When the shot changes the earphones are between both.

Continuity mistake: When J is drinking his chocolate the glass is next to his mouth in the angled shot from in front, but lowered in the angle from behind.

Continuity mistake: When Obadiah stands on the Chrysler building terrace his hair is either loose or tucked behind his ear.

Continuity mistake: When K and J drive to the bowling alley, the same junction with a shiny blue car and a man wearing an orange shirt is seen three times through J's window.

Continuity mistake: At the bowling alley, after K polishes the alien's head, the way his hair is messed up changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: When K questions J at the headquarters, K grabs his tie. From the immediate angle his hand is lowered.

Continuity mistake: When Boris is about to french kiss the woman, she opens her mouth wide and approaches him; then from the opposite angle the mouth is closed and she is walking towards him again. (00:02:30)

Continuity mistake: When the woman is about to be sucked by the void and fiercely grabs Boris' wrist, the wide and close-up angles show her using her left arm, however in several close-ups it's the right arm shown, as noted by position of her thumb, style of the bracelet (from grey rubber to black with diamonds), and a ring appearing/ disappearing. Continuity mistake: At the Apollo rocket launch platform, J calls Boris the Animal twice, who lifts J up and launches him away. J glances at K, who's got both arms stretched out trying to save himself. A shot later, in the close-up, only his right arm is stretched out. (01:28:40)

Continuity mistake: When J steals the blue car keys, a nerdy looking guy with an orange and white striped shirt and glasses is walking towards the hotel. After J drives zooming through New York, the same guy is seen crossing the street walking the opposite way. (00:39:15)

Continuity mistake: When the 60's cops stop J by the billboard sign, he pulls over by the left end of the sign. In the close-up, the car is parked right by the middle of it. (00:40:20)

Continuity mistake: When Boris shoots spikes at the door that K and J are holding, one of them gets stabbed on the upper part of the glass. When the angle changes it's stuck on the center part. (00:17:40)

Continuity mistake: After O delivers her eulogy for Z, J and K are in the car talking. The amount of cars and the style of the streets they pass-by have no continuity whatsoever between front and side angles. (00:09:40)

Continuity mistake: At the Chinese restaurant, when K and J are eating, J's white napkin keeps moving around between shots, as do some of the saucers and cups on the table. (00:13:45)

Continuity mistake: When K slaps the Chinese man with the alien crab his hair gets messy. When the shot changes it's back to brushed. (00:12:45)

Revealing mistake: When the movie starts and J is about to neuralyze the people, the skyline on the background is a blatant backdrop. (00:06:10)

Continuity mistake: After the bug in the cake kills the cops, it runs to free Boris. The amount of strawberry cake on the sewer lid changes between shots. (00:03:25)

Continuity mistake: In the lunar prison, when the guard puts his hand inside the cake, his sleeve is by his wrist or rolled up to the elbow, depending on the shot. (00:03:10)

Continuity mistake: After K is falling with J from the rooftop, big chunks of concrete start to fall, yet disappear in some shots. When they land, the ground is clean, yet in one of the close-ups of K a chunk magically reappears next to his head. (00:17:50)

Continuity mistake: When J shows Jeffrey the alien invasion on TV, the notebook on the counter swaps from open to closed, and then back to open between shots. (00:32:25)
