Continuity mistake: Fran's belt changes when she is in the kitchen from a pink leather one to a zebra one and then back to the original.

The Nanny (1993)
Suggested correction: As soon as it cuts from the show's intro to the first shot in the kitchen, we see Fran buckling her old zebra-striped belt around her waist. When Niles picks up the artificial lemon tree we see Fran touching her belt, and as the camera faces Niles when he exits the kitchen Fran unbuckles her belt offscreen. In the next shot Fran's zebra-striped belt is in her hand, and she places it back in the box of her old stuff from her Ma's house. No continuity issue. Starting time code 00:03:35.

CHiPs (1977)
Corrected entry: The crash lady is two different people. After the car crashes and John tries to pull her out, she's an older looking blondish woman. But after John pulls her free, in the next shots, she is a much younger brunette gal with large blood smudges on her face.
Correction: The actress is Pamelyn Ferdin, and it's her inside the car in the interior shots, as well as the exterior shots while Jon holds her on the ground. Depending on how the light hits her, her dirty blonde hair can look more blonde or brown. Time code starting at 00:25:20.

The Waltons (1972)
Corrected entry: When Grandma / Esther takes Jon-boy aside to ask him about his grandfather's whereabouts, she says "Zeb" instead 'your Grandpa'.
Correction: That's not a mistake, character or otherwise. She simply used her husband's name. She even says Zeb several times through the episode. My own Grandparents and parents have switched between using their spouses' names or saying "your ___" depending on the situation.
Correction: While the kids are entertaining themselves with hand shadow puppets, Esther pulls John, not John-Boy, aside and asks, "Isn't Zeb with you?" In fact, twice she says "Zeb" to John, about his own father. And later while Zeb is sitting on Ike's pool table, Zeb says, "Esther" when he's talking to John-Boy. Zeb does this again with John-Boy when he learns Esther's going to the dance. This type of thing occurs throughout the series; it's normal.

Twins (1988)
Corrected entry: When Julius is first driving the Red mustang on two wheels, when it lands back onto all four wheels on the long shot you see the airbag deploy. It's no longer deployed the next scene of Julius smiling in the car. (00:30:50)
Correction: It's a 1988 Mustang 5.0, they didn't get airbags until 1990. What you are seeing can't be an airbag. Even if the car did have airbags it is unfathomable that a major film production would not disable them during a stunt.
Correction: The driver's airbag does not deploy in the long shot, we can see the seat and driver behind the steering wheel. Just as the car lands on all 4 of its tires, a translucent white glaring reflection begins to appear on the right side of the windshield, and as the car fully lands the translucent reflection extends across three quarters of the windshield (could be the reflection of a lighting panel or location lighting).

Gilmore Girls (2000)
Visible crew/equipment: When Lorelai joins Rory at Luke's, as she opens the door, she reveals camera equipment outside the door. (00:20:00)
Suggested correction: It's not camera equipment you're seeing; it's one of the newspaper dispensers on the sidewalk outside Luke's, at the curb. These newspaper dispensers are visible in many episodes.

Criminal Minds (2005)
Corrected entry: The kidnappers send the hostage's ear in a box. It is a left ear. When they FBI rescue her she is clutching her bloody right ear.
Correction: Watch the scene again (00:25:10). The severed ear in the box is Sophie's right ear.

The Actress - S1-E16
Corrected entry: Johnboy tells Alvira he's 17, when in The Hunt and The Sinner he'd turned 18.
Correction: In S1xE5 "The Hunt" John-Boy's age is not mentioned at all in this episode. In S1xE8 "The Sinner" John-Boy's age is mentioned twice as being 17 years old; first, while he's with Zeb in the vehicle, then later when he speaks to Matthew Fordwick.

Emergency! (1972)
Captain Hook - S6-E8
Other mistake: As the fire apparatus are leaving the station for the helicopter rescue, the shot from the front shows doors at the back of the building but when they are leaving it shows a brick wall at the back of the building.
Suggested correction: When Station 54 are leaving for the "aircraft down" rescue, in the exterior long shot from across the street (of the real Station 127), we are not seeing the apparatus bay with a head-on frontal view. The camera is positioned so that viewers see the apparatus bay at an angle, and we are only able to see the very long interior left brick wall, with the doors to locker room/bathroom and the dorm. The back of the building with the rear roll-up door is simply not visible at this particular angle.

Friends (1994)
The One with the Monkey - S1-E10
Corrected entry: When Ross comes in with the monkey there is a visible shadow in the bathroom and a crew member is closing the door.
Correction: That's Phoebe not a crew member. She walked to the bathroom after her comment about the name Bethel (00:00:25).

Resident Evil (2022)
Corrected entry: We see a zombie (Barry) cuffed to a pole in a bathroom. A few dramatic cello strokes later, there's a close-up of Zombarry ripping his hand off to facilitate eating Jade's face. Zombarry lunges at Jade and his hand is back. (00:24:20)
Correction: From S1xE2, "The Devil You Know." Perhaps use pause and/or play it in slow motion. In the closeup of him "ripping his hand" it's not his entire hand, bones and all, that is "ripping off" at the wrist. It's actually only the hand's skin layer surface, nails included, that comes loose and slides off, leaving the skin-glove hand dangling from the handcuff. After this, the actor's hand has the appearance (kind of meh) of a skinless bony hand, which is most noticeable when Barry attacks Melinda.

The Nanny (1993)
Corrected entry: In the Christmas Episode (s1e8), we are told Fran's watch meant a lot to her because her grandmother gave it to her on her deathbed. In this episode Fran has two living grandmothers.
Correction: Fran's bubbe (Yiddish for grandmother) Sophie is dead though, this is mostly likely a reference to her.
Who is Sophie? Fran's Grandmas are Nettie Fine and Yetta Rosenberg. Both are alive.
Bubbie Sophie is mentioned in S4xE4 The Rosie Show. She's portrayed in the dream cemetery sequence by Fran Drescher. I believe that Bubbie Sophie is meant to be Yetta's mother, so Fran's great-grandmother, and she may have died right before Fran was born, or when Fran was a baby.

Let It Snow - S15-E9
Corrected entry: Sam is in the bathroom washing her hands. As she goes to leave, 'Ladies Room' is on the glass of the door, however it is oriented facing the inside of the room. It should appear backwards so it would be seen correctly from the outside, not inside. (00:39:52)
Correction: This shot opens on a closeup of Sam's hands under the faucet, as she stands at the sink washing her face, in front of the mirror on the wall over the sink. Watch as the camera faces the mirror, so it's Sam's reflection drying her face and walking out the bathroom door. "Ladies room" is printed on the exterior side of the door's glass window. From the interior side the words are reversed, but since the camera faces the mirror, viewers see the reflection of the words the right way, not reversed.

Batman: Arkham Knight
Corrected entry: The firefighters' helmets should read "GCFD" not "FDGC" since the police department's referred to as "GCPD."
Correction: Gotham City's fire dept is known as both FDGC and GCFD, in the same way as NY's fire dept is known as the FDNY and police dept known as NYPD.

The One Where Heckles Dies - S2-E3
Corrected entry: When Mr. Heckles goes back to his apartment, it looks as if he is going upstairs, when actually his apartment is below Monica and Rachel's.
Correction: When Heckles turns away from Monica's doorway he steps up onto the upper landing, not the stairs. The stairwell is at the end of the hallway (on this upper landing) where Heckles is heading, and we don't see him reach the stairs. Other episodes such as S8xE7 "The One With The Stain" and S10xE8 "The One With The Late Thanksgiving" show the hallway.

Jaws (1975)
Corrected entry: At the beginning, Sheriff Brody walks onto the "boat" that takes people and, at most, two cars across the water to the mainland. A car joins Brody with 3 men, the medical examiner, the major and the newspaper man. Brody has been told, by the medical examiner, that it was a shark attack that killed the young woman who swam at night (the first death in the film) but now he is being coerced into saying it was a boating accident. Meanwhile, the man who handles the "boat" has already put it in reverse, heading back where they have come from Nonetheless, the mayor says, "You can take us back now." Turning around, he would have seen the folly in his words.
Correction: Rewatch this scene. Brody, Vaughn, et al., board Amity ferry scow (in reality the On Time scow). Brody tells Charlie to take him to the kids swimming off shore across the water (Chappaquiddick Island). They cast off from Dock St ferry landing, and just as the lighthouse is in the background, the Captain turns the scow to dock at the 2nd ferry landing ramp properly. Distance between the 2 ferry landings is approx 520 ft. When Vaughn says, "Take us back now," we see the 1st landing behind them.

The Breakfast Club (1985)
Corrected entry: Throughout the movie, Bender is wearing a lightning bolt earring in his left ear. However, at the end of the movie when Claire gives him her diamond stud, and he goes to place it in his ear, the lightning bolt is gone. (00:20:15 - 01:34:08)
Correction: Bender's lightening bolt earring doesn't just vanish between shots. The fact is, Bender and Claire have been offscreen for quite some time before the closeup of Claire's hand placing her diamond stud in the palm of Bender's hand. We didn't actually see Claire removing her diamond stud, but we know that she did it, offscreen. So while Claire removed her own earring, she told Bender that she wants him to keep it, and he removed his. Viewers do not need to see every single moment onscreen.

Speed (1994)
Corrected entry: "Tuneman" has no actual license plate on his car, just the same vanity plate on front and back.
Correction: The Jaguar owner has personalized plates, and the rear license plate has the registration tabs (stickers) affixed to it, the month (Nov) at the left and the yellow tab with the year at the right.

Insidious (2010)
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Dalton's father is at work, on the blackboard behind him you can see a face from the movie Saw drawn. In the next shot, the face is erased.
Suggested correction: If by "in the next shot" you meant the scene when Josh dismisses his class, the Billy puppet face is not erased in the shots facing Josh, we just don't see the left side of the blackboard. Note, in wide shots and side shots, to the right of the Billy face we can make out the erased words "new deal" and 2 vertical squiggly lines (map-type drawing). In the shots facing Josh we still see those vertical lines and the word "deal" but the Billy face is simply offscreen, to the left.

Batman (1966)
The Penguin Declines (3) - S2-E39
Corrected entry: After all the stow-away baddies jump from the Batmobile's trunk, they leave it open. Between shots, it magically closes itself. (00:19:30)
Correction: When the baddies climb out from the Batmobile's trunk, the trunk is open at 00:17:43. Then we don't even see the trunk again until 00:19:54, when the brawl breaks out, and Robin jumps atop the Batmobile and slams the trunk closed.

Batman (1966)
The Joker's Hard Times (2) - S2-E38
Continuity mistake: The Batmobile pulls up in front of the Platter-Porium, and you can see that only Batman and Robin are inside the car. When the shot cuts to close-up, though, Venus is sitting in between them. (Tight squeeze: it's a 2-seater and she must be straddling the transmission hump and hand brake - ouch.) The shot cuts back to full for them to jump from the car, and Venus has disappeared again. (00:13:40)
Suggested correction: We do see Venus in all three shots. When the Batmobile pulls up in front of Platter-Porium, in the first wide shot we see blonde hair between Batman and Robin. Then after the closeup, in the second wide shot (same angle as the first) when Batman and Robin have exited the car, we see Venus turn and poke her head out of the Batmobile, on Robin's side of the car. Also, in the closeup when Batman opens the door, we see Venus is sharing the passenger seat with Robin, directly beside the transmission hump and hand brake, so no ouch for her. Venus does the same thing in the next episode, when she's brought to the Batcave.
