Out of the Past (1) - S3-E1

Trivia: The basketball game between Gambit and Wolverine was inspired by X-Men, Volume 2 #4 which depicted a game of basketball featuring Gambit and Jubilee vs. Wolverine and Rogue (which Gambit dominated). Wolverine and Gambit's game attire is even the same they were wearing in the comic.

Mojovision - S2-E11

Trivia: One of the women tending to Longshot in his dressing room when Mojo is firing him is Dazzler, who would make her first official appearance on the show in the season 3 episode "The Dark Phoenix Saga Part 1, Dazzled" although with a different hair color. Longshot and Dazzler were a romantic item in the comics.

Trivia: The show contained numerous references to the Terminator film series. Several episodes such as "Time Fugitives" and "One Man's Worth" (also "Days of Future Past," but that was based on a pre-Terminator comic) featured one or more characters traveling into the past to prevent an event that causes a dystopian future. The robots from Cable's future bear a resemblance to the T-800s. When Mr. Sinister's body is blown to bits in "Reunion, Part 2" it begins to reassemble itself exactly like the T-1000 when it was frozen and then blown to bits. Wolverine even refers to Bishop as Mr. Terminator in the episode "Days of Future Past, Part 1." Another Schwarzenegger movie, "Total Recall", is referenced in "Time Fugitives, Part 2" when Cable uses a hologram of himself in order to bait someone into shooting at him.

Time Fugitives: Part 1 - S2-E7

Trivia: War Machine (the supporting character from Iron Man) makes two brief cameo appearances in this episode. The first is in Cable's future after Cable tells his team that they aren't retreating. Whether or not the person inside the armor is James Rhodes or why he is a servant of Apocalypse is not explained. The second is when he is watching the Senate committee on TV along with G.W. Bridge and Nick Fury. (00:02:50)

Red Dawn - S2-E4

Trivia: When Wolverine is explaining Omega Red's back-story to Colossus, a picture of Captain America is briefly visible. This is a nod to the comic books, where Omega Red was the Soviet Union's attempt to create their own super soldier similar to Captain America. (00:14:05)

Trivia: The address for the mansion of the Thieves Guild is shown to be 2420 Melpomene. This is an actual address in New Orleans, although it's not a mansion in the swamp as depicted here. (00:11:45)

Trivia: The two men that are leaving the bar just as Wolverine is entering are Bloodscream and Roughouse, two of Wolverine's enemies from the comic books. (00:07:05)

The Unstoppable Juggernaut - S1-E8

Trivia: After Colossus throws Wolverine across the construction site, Wolverine says he has a great arm. A reference to Colossus and Wolverine's Fastball Special from the comics.

Days of Future Past: Part 1 - S1-E11

Trivia: The storyline for this two-part episode is an amalgamation of the "Days of Future Past" story from the comics and of Bishop's future where he suspected Gambit of betraying and murdering the X-Men.

Trivia: The voice Hank Azaria uses for Grady is the same voice he used for Agador Spartacus in The Birdcage.

The Last Temptation of Homer - S5-E9

Trivia: At one point in this episode Homer is watching "Eye on Springfield" and Kent Brockman makes reference to Bill Clinton having an extramarital affair - more than 4 years before Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky became public knowledge.

Trivia: Although it's not explained in the movie, it was revealed in behind-the-scenes interviews that Magneto was the one that reapplied the adamantium to Wolverine's claws. In the comics, Magneto actually removed the adamantium from Wolverine's skeleton.

Trivia: When Quicksilver is breaking Magneto out of prison he states that his mom used to know a guy that could control metal, implying that Magneto is Quicksilver's father, just like in the comics.

Trivia: Professor Farnsworth bears a resemblance to Sebastian Cobb, a character who appeared on The Simpsons in the episode "Marge vs. The Monorail."

Krusty Gets Kancelled - S4-E22

Trivia: The scene where Bette Midler sings "Wind Beneath My Wings" to Krusty is an allusion to Johnny Carson's penultimate episode as host of The Tonight Show where Midler was his final guest and sang to him. She even called Carson the wind beneath her wings.

Caballo sin Nombre - S3-E2

Trivia: There is a scene in this episode where Walter angrily tosses a box of pizza in the air in such a way that the pizza exits the box and lands on his roof. Before filming this scene, the crew had wondered how many takes would be required to achieve the desired result. Bryan Cranston nailed it on the first try.

Trivia: Paul Mitchell actually died in 1989. As an inside joke, the man portraying him when he talks to the Zohan on the phone is his business partner John Paul Dejoria. Dejoria has been the face of the Paul Mitchell company since Paul Mitchell's death, which has caused many people to believe that Dejoria is Paul Mitchell.

Trivia: Cersei remarks to Tyrion that she had heard his nose was cut off during the Battle of Blackwater Bay. This is a reference to the books, in which part of Tyrion's nose was indeed cut off.

Trivia: Co-writer/director Jared Hess and his wife, co-writer Jerusha, are Mormon, which explains why there is no profanity in the script.
