Trivia: The film mentions that modern followers refer to Dracula as Drake. This is likely a reference to Frank Drake, who in the comics is a descendant of Dracula and was a member of the Nightstalkers alongside Blade and Hannibal King.

Celtic Pride (1996)

Trivia: This film depicts the Utah Jazz as the NBA's Western Conference Champions (and eventual NBA champions). In the NBA season that followed the release of this film, the Jazz coincidentally became Western Conference Champions for the first time in franchise history, though they would lose in the NBA Finals to the Chicago Bulls.

Power Broker - S1-E3

Trivia: When Dovich and Karli are speaking in the street in Vilnius, Lithuania, visible in the background is a gate being guarded by several men, and on the gate is an encircled X, very reminiscent of the X-Men logo. The fictional nation of Madripoor seen in this episode is also closely associated with the X-Men in the comics. (00:38:57)

Space Jam (1996)

Trivia: The end of the film shows Jordan's motivation to return to the NBA is when his ability to play is questioned by the other players in the film. This isn't far off from reality. In real life, part of what fuelled his return to the NBA was when he was visiting Utah Jazz members and former Dream Team teammates Karl Malone and John Stockton while the Jazz were in Chicago, and young Jazz guard Bryon Russell approached Jordan and asked him why he retired, and told him he could guard him. Coincidentally, Russell would end up trying to guard Jordan on his final possession as a member of the Bulls, which saw Jordan sinking the game winner of the 1998 NBA Finals.

X-Men (1992)

Trivia: A few weeks into the show's production, the staff was informed by Marvel that their character designs had to be changed. This is because the characters were modelled on artist Jim Lee's redesigns in the comics, and he, along with some other artists, were in the process of leaving Marvel Comics to found Image Comics. To convince Marvel to change their minds, storyboard artist Will Meugniot submitted a deliberately awful looking model sheet that looked reminiscent of 1970s Hanna-Barbera cartoons.

Repo Man - S2-E5

Trivia: Snowbird wasn't in the original script for this episode because they couldn't afford any more speaking parts. Larry Houston decided to add her to the episode and just not give her any lines, so that the full Alpha Flight team would appear.
