One is that Ozymandias' suit has nipples on it, similar to the suits of the title characters of the aforementioned film, which is one of its many sources of criticism. The second is the trailer used the song "The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning" by the Smashing Pumpkins, which is the closing track on the Batman and Robin soundtrack.

Trivia: A.J. LoCascio is taking over the role of Gambit from Chris Potter. He said he initially didn't know he was going to be recording for a revival of the original animated series, rather he thought it was going to be for a video game. LoCascio grew up a huge fan of Gambit. He even took French classes in school because of it, and referred to himself in those classes as "Remy" (Gambit's real name). Potter claims he wasn't even asked to voice Gambit again, presumably because of his death in episode 5.
