The Price of Tomato Juice - S4-E15
Other mistake: Actor Jeff Maxwell plays Private Igor Straminsky, however when Maj. Burns is in line and asks for his name, he replies "Maxwell" and Burns in turn repeats the name "Maxwell", instead of "Straminsky."
Factual error: When the South Korean Colonel and General are in the mess tent, their rank insignia are wrong. The insignia they are wearing are for the U.S. Army.
Suggested correction: They could have been Korean Augmentation To the United States Army (KATUSA) officers, who were Koreans drafted or volunteered into the US military to act as a liaison between Koreans and the US military. As such they wore US uniforms and rank.
Factual error: When the South Korean Colonel and General are in the Mess Tent with BJ, their rank insignia is wrong. The insignia the Colonel is wearing is for a U.S. Colonel, and the General's insignia would not be three stars in a horizontal line.
Continuity mistake: Along with Radar holding an anachronistic comic book (the Avengers), the exact issue changes between wide and close shots. One has the older Avengers logo used in the '60s and very early '70s, while the second issue Radar is holding has the newer Avengers logo that just gained currency as the episode was being filmed. (00:00:45)
Revealing mistake: In several supposedly outdoors scenes in the camp, in particular, when Frank is welcoming Margaret back, there's a very obvious indoorsy echo. (00:22:10)
Continuity mistake: Early in the episode it is stated that Margaret's tent door is padlocked while she is in Tokyo. But when she gets back, she just walks straight in. (00:22:20)
Character mistake: The last bet comes to Frank after Mulcahy bets a dollar, and Potter raises fifty cents, making it a dollar fifty. Frank makes it another five dollars, making it six dollars fifty cents. Mulcahy says "Oh dear, it's five fifty to me." He should have said six fifty.
Visible crew/equipment: As BJ comes around to take the wounded soldier to Post-Op, he walks in front of the camera. As he does so, the shadow of the camera can be seen on his back.
Factual error: Amongst Radar's comics are several not published until after the end of the Korean War, including issues of The Avengers and Spider Man.
Continuity mistake: When Jack delivers the patient to the MASH and when he is taking photos of the operation, there is no wound on his right hand. It only appears when Col.Potter says that he treated it "months ago". (00:04:30)
Other mistake: Frank Burns states when he is talking to a patient who just got a purple heart, that he would like to get a purple heart, but in the earlier episode ‘The Kids', Frank Burns received a purple heart due to a injury, and in the S1 episode ‘Sometimes You Hear the Bullet', Frank Burns gets another Purple Heart. Despite them both being stolen, they still count on his army record.
Continuity mistake: After Jack wins a drink from Hawkeye and BJ, Hawkeye grabs the orange to inspect it for tears to prove his magnet theory. After the angle change, he grabs it again.
Visible crew/equipment: When the camera angle changes to look at the cover being put over the soldier's head, the camera is briefly reflected until the cover is locked in place.
Continuity mistake: When Carly is talking about Hawkeye being a "mortician's delight", she is gesturing with her right hand, and it's about waist height at the end of the motion. When the camera goes to a wide shot, her hand is up by her chin, about eight inches from her face.
