Continuity mistake: As Potter says "knowing mademoiselles in the war, P.M." (pre Mildred) his hands are by his drink. As he finishes his line, they're crossed on the table.
Continuity mistake: When Hawkeye gets into the chow line and Igor suggests the peas and carrots, Hawkeye asks about the beans. As the peas and carrots are being scooped to be served to Hawkeye, he grabs Igor's arm and peas and carrots are spilled into the beans. Peas are VERY visible in the beans. Continuity mistake: After Klinger's file cabinet gets bombed, BJ appears in the window. He's facing directly ahead, head slightly tilted to the right. When the camera goes to a close up, he's in quarter profile, left cheek forward. In the long shot, he's back to the original position.

Continuity mistake: When filming Hawkeye, BJ and Charles in the swamp before they go to Potter's tent, the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of the inside. When it pulls back you can see the end of the tent, but without the netting normally there.
Continuity mistake: When BJ comes out of the building and meets Paul, you can see a chain-link fence in the background that you never see any other time in the series.
Bombshells - S11-E6
Character mistake: When the band is playing "Hooray for Hollywood", the conductor's beat pattern is backward: up-down instead of down-up.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning scene in the mess hall, Charles' rank insignia & medical insignia are on the wrong sides of his collar, the next scene they are on the correct side.

Factual error: During this episode, Sergent Klinger gives a Hershey Chocolate Bar with Almonds (although the 'Hershey' name is obliterated on the bulk box as well as the bar itself, there is no doubt as to what it is) to a wounded North Korean soldier, who accepts it and turns it upside down, revealing a Universal Product Code bar code. Bar codes were not used on products until some 20 years later. (00:12:20)
Visible crew/equipment: While Kilnger's guarding Soon-Lee, when Father Mulcahy walks into the tent the shadow of the boom mic dips into view at the top, left side of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: In the Swamp, when Houlihan shouts, "I'll be back and you better come up with something," the moving shadow of the boom mic can be seen at the top, left side of the screen.
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen - S11-E16
Continuity mistake: When the injured tank driver appears in the open hatch while Margaret's yelling at him, he does not have a bushy mustache, but in the next shot in the OR we hear Margaret telling Potter about the tank driver while they're operating on him, and when the camera pulls in closer we see that he has a big bushy mustache. (00:10:50)
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen - S11-E16
Continuity mistake: After Klinger presses Potter about getting rid of the tank Potter tells Klinger to act like a sergeant, and in the shot from Potter's office Klinger walks out with both of his helmet straps hanging loose, but when it cuts to him walking into the outer office one of the straps is suddenly gone. (00:33:45)
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen - S11-E16
Visible crew/equipment: While Klinger is on the phone trying to set up BJ's transportation home, just as Winchester walks into the office pointing out the company clerk the shadow of the moving boom can be seen on the wall, and it's also visible when Winchester takes the mailbag and dumps the contents. (00:42:50)
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen - S11-E16
Other mistake: After Klinger announces on the PA the camp's orders to Bug Out, more than a dozen of the following shots we see of the camp packing up are from the season 6 episode "Bug Out." (01:05:40)
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen - S11-E16
Continuity mistake: B.J. is holding a Korean child who is subbing in for his own daughter when Margaret hands B.J. a piece of cake. Just as it looks as if he is about to feed the cake to the girl, the scene cuts to a full facial shot of Hot Lips, then cuts back to B.J. The cake has disappeared. There wasn't enough time to eat it all, and neither the child nor B.J. is eating. B.J. has no icing on his fingers; it has just disappeared. (01:16:50)
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen - S11-E16
Other mistake: How did Hawkeye Pierce, a surgeon, know how to drive a tank? It is nothing like driving a car and takes skills, training and experience that a surgeon simply would not have. He wouldn't even be able to start the engine.

EMTurbo
