Corrected entry: In the scene with the exploding hospital, the Joker has rigged what seems like every room in at least the wing shown on our right (since the explosive charges set off one at a time). It would require an absurd number of man-hours setting up so many explosive charges without being discovered, but the Joker has only been in the business of terrorism for a very short while.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: Joker's henchman backs a stolen schoolbus into the bank's front doors. Despite the significant damage to the building, the bus suffers no appreciable damage, and it blends in unnoticed with a procession of other buses outside.
Correction: Shots of the bus inside the buidling show significant paint scraped off and a busted right-side tail light.

Superman (1978)
Corrected entry: When the thief is climbing the building, you can see the panels that he is climbing on are not made of glass as the don't cast any reflection. It is just some kind of black plastic.
Correction: Not true. He is always on clear, reflective glass panels. There are whole vertical and horizontal rows of flat black panels, specifically a vertical column of them immediately to the left of the glass panel he is on in one shot, and these are all decorative features of the building he is climbing. They don't appear and disappear.

Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Corrected entry: In the beginning, when Riggs and Murtagh are chasing the BMW the red police beacon can be seen flashing inside the windscreen. When it then cuts to a conversation between Riggs and Murtagh inside the car and you can see the beacon but it's not on. Then it then cuts to the outside of the car and the beacon can be seen flashing once again.
Correction: The beacon is still on, but it has a back shield on it to keep it from blinding the driver. The flashing can just barely be noticed around the beacon where it meets the glass.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: When the Joker comes out of the hospital as it is exploding, he gets on a school bus via the back door. If you look closely you can see a stagehand/technician close the door, and is visible sitting up and giving a 'thumbs up' to the driver to inform him that he is able to drive off.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: In one scene, Two Face's coin says it is from the year 1929, and in a later scene it says 1922.
Correction: More likely a trick of light or mistaken witness, as there's no reason to mint multiple coins with different years on them. The filmmakers would make multiples of one coin for the filming. For verification, a more specific accounting of when/where these views occur is needed, as the coin is shown very often throughout the film.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: During the chase on Lower 5th street, the Joker's truck is on one side of the armored van, but when the Joker begins shooting, bullet dents appear on both sides near Harvey and the SWAT officer.
Correction: Absolutely NO such damage is seen on Harvey's side at any point in the chase. And even if it had, there are other vehicles in the chase, as well as henchmen on foot, in windows, on fire escapes, etc- along the route.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: In Batman Begins, we see and hear Gordon's infant child (when Batman talks to Gordon at his home), and then 6 months later in The Dark Knight, he has two kids which appear to be about 7.
Correction: So Gordon has three children, the youngest of which is either not home or just not discovered when the family is taken.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: When 'Two Face' Dent is holding Gordon and family hostage, only the undamaged side of his face is visible, while the deformed portion is in shadow. However, the edge of the damaged side is partially visible, and it is clear that there are some undamaged areas that were damaged before.
Correction: I watched for this specifically, and there's nothing inconsistent about the heavily-shadowed side of his face.

In the Valley of Elah (2007)
Corrected entry: At 1:18:07, Deerfield breaks Det. Sanders' nose. Later, the day after (specifically at 1:23:45), when the police find the dead woman in the bathroom, Det. Sanders touches her nose for a couple of seconds in a gesture of sadness. If that nose was really broken she would not be able to do that for that amount of time. (01:23:45)
Correction: Everyone processes pain differently and, in fact, almost all nose breaks result in some initial numbness and shock. Additionally, we can not say how much pressure, if any, she's placing against her nose. She knows it's broken and is the best judge of how much it can be moved and how much pain she can endure. At worst, it is a character choice.

Cloverfield (2008)
Corrected entry: Just after the monster has capsized the oil tanker they go to the roof to check it out. When Hud says to Rob he should have left town earlier, Rob replies, "Shut up", however Rob's mouth doesn't move. (00:19:50)
Correction: It does move, as does his head that turns his face into darkness so that the shadows across his face and the short time it takes to say 'shut up' under your breath all make it difficult to notice, but it's there in a completely natural way. It is not dubbed in.

Hancock (2008)
Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie when Hancock stops the robbers and impales the SUV on the building, the engine should come out from the hood. Instead spires penetrate the engine block.
Correction: The engine "should"? One engine mount can have broken, tilting the motor over in its compartment, allowing the spire to pass through without the engine protruding.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: In the scene of the assassination attempt the Joker, without his makeup, is disguised as a police officer. And yet not one single person, not even one of the legit police officers, ever notices that something is wrong? Here is this guy with the same facial scar as the Joker right in front of them and nobody recognizes him?
Correction: Joker's appearance as a police officer is markedly different from that of his white-faced look. The fact that you and I recognize him in uniform is because we know Heath Ledger, and the plot demands it. In our reality, we'd have a very difficult time recognizing the clown from our kid's birthday party when his make up is off and he's shopping at Wal-Mart. Also, he's replaced all the cops in the honor guard with his henchmen, and Gotham is a big city where no cop knows every other cop, so it's even easier to not recognize that something isn't quite right.

P.S. I Love You (2007)
Corrected entry: When Holly is writing Gerry's parents' address on the packages to send to them in Ireland, she writes their names and then the address as: "412 Jerious Lane, Enniskerry, Ireland." The address was obviously Americanised as the Irish postal system requires the county to be written on the address as well, so, the address should have been written, "Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, Ireland." Also, when Holly visits Gerry's parents, they live on a country road, and in Ireland, the country houses are not numbered and the country roads do not have names. There are small regions called townlands instead.
Correction: First, leaving the county off the package would be an easy mistake for an American to make, And yet, the package would likely find it's way to the proper address without it. The home we see may not be where the parents physically get their mail (especially if un-numbered on an un-named road), so the address she used may be where their mail is indeed picked up.

Titanic (1997)
Corrected entry: When Jack and Rose enter the water and everyone is still splashing around, a speedboat and banana boat can be seen quite in the background.
Correction: No, they can't, because they don't exist. The scene was shot in a tank, indoors. The more distant swimmers are CGI, as is the rest of the background, which is pitch dark. There are no such boats.

No Country For Old Men (2007)
Corrected entry: The first motel where Josh Brolin hides out advertises "Free HBO" on its sign (I believe it was best shown in the scene where Brolin is in the cab and chooses to drive by). While HBO may have existed as a company in 1980, it was not widely used or known at the time (let alone available and affordable to a cheap motel in rural Texas).
Correction: HBO began in 1972 and was widespread by 1975. Through the late 1970s, everybody I knew was watching HBO, and I recall many a motel advertising it on their signs near my home town, long before the events of this film.
Correction: HBO was first made available to motels in 1978.

No Country For Old Men (2007)
Corrected entry: The wealthy businessman sets Woody Harrelson up with a bank account for his expenses accessible via ATM. ATMs did not come to big cities until the mid-80s, let alone the remote areas Woody's pursuit of Javier Bardem would undoubtedly be taking him.
Correction: Not true. There were over 2000 ATMs around the USA in 1974- six years before the events of this film. Big cities would be the first places to find them, and wherever Woody's character might have to drive or fly to track Javier, he'd likely pass near one sooner or later. If nothing else, it's one more option available to him.

Batman (1966)
Corrected entry: If the dehydration machine really did what it was supposed to, the leaders would not be reduced to powder, their body would still be intact, but would have no trace of liquid in their body, which would simply kill them.

Patton (1970)
Corrected entry: Francis Ford, the writer, was fired for his beginning scene. It is become a really famous scene. He says it was new and that people didn't understand it. Now, it's a famous scene.
Correction: Not really accurate. Coppola said "I wrote the script of Patton. And the script was very controversial when I wrote it, because they thought it was so stylized. It was supposed to be like, sort of, you know, The Longest Day. And my script of Patton was - I was sort of interested in the reincarnation. And I had this very bizarre opening where he stands up in front of an American flag and gives this speech. Ultimately, I wasn't fired, but I was fired, meaning that when the script was done, they said, "Okay, thank you very much," and they went and hired another writer and that script was forgotten. And I remember very vividly this long, kind of being raked over the coals for this opening scene. My point is that what I've learned is that the stuff that I got in trouble for, the casting for The Godfather or the flag scene in Patton, was the stuff that was remembered, and was considered really the good work."

Batman (1966)
Corrected entry: Batman and Robin enter the Batboat at the jetty, yet moments later, when they are on the ocean, there is no sign of land behind them whatsoever. (00:19:40)
Correction: The shots are not continuous time.

Correction: Ignoring that we can't know how long Joker has been involved in terrorism prior to the events of this film, he has numerous henchmen to aid in his projects so that his role in planting the explosives can be quite minimal if he chooses.
