Continuity mistake: At the table with Ariel and Eric, the stuff on Grimsby's dish changes positions in every single angle, and even disappears in the final angle.

Continuity mistake: During the eels scene, when Ariel is crying, the stone she lays on is a single stone laying almost flat on the sand; then swaps to a double stone, and when she sends the eels away it is a single stone though way steeper, standing upright.

Continuity mistake: When Ariel is crying and Sebastian comes to comfort her, there's a vase, two planks and a small bottle behind her. When the angle changes, every object is different, even the area looks much wider.

Continuity mistake: After becoming human, Ariel swims and rest on a floating rock amidst the sea. A frame later she is laying on a rocky wall by the shore.

Other mistake: After the guys decide to rent the building, the shot of New York from the park is the very same one, though with different sky colour, to that of the moment when they are about to battle Gozer. Though it's a very wide and common shot of the park, the very same people are laying on the grass in the very same position in both shots (big screen recommended to spot it). (00:16:45 - 01:18:35)

Continuity mistake: In the first overhead shot of Lester in bed, just before his shower, his slippers are positioned in a V-shape, but in the next shot, from under the bed, has them parallel to the bed. (00:01:34)

Continuity mistake: When Matrix and Cooke fight at the motel, the number and shape of broken glass-tiles on the wall keeps increasing / decreasing randomly in different shots. (00:46:25)

Continuity mistake: Kate is speaking to Charlie on the phone when he says he's met a woman. The length of the wire changes from short to very long instantly.

Continuity mistake: During the fight in Metropolis, General Zod is about to throw a wall part at Superman, it cuts to a street scene with people and there is a "no entry" sign reversed, showing the film was flipped for some reason.
