Continuity mistake: In Maney Gault's first scene, the porch he is lying on loses a screen covering for the closeup, only to regain it for the third shot.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie during the skateboard scene with Shaggy and Scooby riding along the conveyor belt, Scooby grabs a hook and both Shaggy and Scooby jump off of the skateboard. You see the skateboard falling off the conveyor belt, but in the next scene it is on the conveyor belt and being crushed. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: The beginning of the movie is set on Thursday, the day after Jim died, and Bridgette's face was just fine. Later in the movie, on Saturday, Bridgette was at the funeral with cuts and stitches on her face. Then, the movie goes back to Tuesday, the day before Jim died, and they show Bridgette running into the glass door and cutting her face. So if it happened on Tuesday, the first scene of the movie (Thursday) should have shown the cuts on her face.
Continuity mistake: When Mulder and Scully start frantically running from the bees inside the dome Scully is clearly seen untying her belt twice. (01:01:55)
Continuity mistake: When Jessica appears on stage, Eddie has Betty Boop standing next to him in all close-up shots, except for a wide shot of the public behind Jessica where Boop is missing. (00:18:15 - 00:19:05)
Continuity mistake: At the end of National Treasure 1, Riley has a Ferrari 360 Spider. At the beginning of Book of Secrets, when his car is being towed away, it's a Ferrari F430 Spider. At the end of the movie, he is given back a 360 Spider.
Continuity mistake: When Seth has been sliced by the blade, he spits blood that goes all over his face. It then cuts to Hoffman looking at him, then back to Seth, and now the blood on his face has gone. This happens three or four times. (00:05:10)
Continuity mistake: When everyone is in the Library, you can see the matches in a cup on the left of the fireplace. When Professor Plum says, "Wait a minute, suppose that one of us is the murderer," you can also see that the matches are in a "V" shape. When Wadsworth walks towards them to pull the matches out, most of them are all leaning to the left side of the cup. As the movie goes on, when the cop gets locked up in the Library for the second time, the same amount of matches are in the holding cup as if Wadsworth did not pull them out and they are in a straight line. Continuity mistake: When Ariadne wakes in the Snow Fortress and the floor goes from under her, we can see her gloves fall in to the crack but in a different camera shot of her we can see the gloves are now back near her head again. (02:12:20)
Continuity mistake: When Corrine takes off her blouse, she shows her children seventeen scars on her back that she got from being whipped by the grandmother. Later in the movie, when Corrine is dancing at a party, she is wearing a strapless dress and there are no scars or any signs that she was struck with a whip.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Stanley and Zero are digging to find the chest toward the end of the movie, the background behind them is just a dirt wall. In a following shot upon discovering the box, there are stairs that lead to the hole. In the next shot, these stairs are gone again and it's just the hole again. (01:38:05)
Continuity mistake: There's a clear mix-up in editing during the car chase. Marta checks her phone twice for Blanc's calls as she tries to get away from the police. The first time the phone signals 9:36 AM, the second time 9:34 AM. (01:31:50)
Continuity mistake: In the dormitory, when lovestruck Ron is going gaga over Romilda, he is wearing a brown sleeveless tee shirt and its tan trim has many holes. When Harry brings Ron to Slughorn, Ron is still wearing that tee shirt, but now some of the holes are gone and the rest of the holes have changed position. (01:26:50)
Continuity mistake: When Ace is singing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the windshield of the Jeep is cracked. In the next scene, it's in one piece.
Continuity mistake: When Sister Irene's habit is ripped at the back, you can see a bra strap on her left shoulder which disappears when she is seen at the front and when the camera is closer to her back (when she has the pentagram carved into her).
Continuity mistake: When Ghostface is trying to kill Tatum in the garage, she tries to go through the doggie door. From the outside shot, she is out of the door from her arms and up. From the inside shot, she is out of the door from her hips and up. (01:04:20)
Continuity mistake: When Ace is trying to work out what Einhorn and Finkle have to do with each other, his dog sits on a photo of Finkle and its hair does not cover the face, the shot moves to Ace and then back to the dog and now its hair is covering the face of the photo without even moving. Continuity mistake: When Teddy's kids are lying dead on the grass, the position of the girl's arms keeps changing between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Clouseau parks in front of the ministry of justice, he breaks the hood of two police cars. A few shots later, when we see him entering the building, only one of the cars is broken.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sophie finds the cross key behind the painting, her hand is holding the painting while the key falls, but in the next shot, her hand isn't touching the painting at all.
