Stella is bending down to pick up the book in one shot, but the angle cuts while Chuck is still saying the word "go" and suddenly he has vanished from the room as the other two start to leave.
Continuity mistake: While in the pool room, Zoey falls off the wall onto a portion of floor that hasn't collapsed yet and loses consciousness. This area is next to the section of floor that collapsed first. Jason jumps down to help Zoey. As he is helping her up, and onto the wall, that section of floor collapses, forcing him to grab the wall to avoid falling 20-ish stories with the floor. Sometimes the extras aren't consistent from show to shot. Ex. At one point a black couple brushes past Ryan - the man is on his right and the woman is on his left. When the shot cuts to the opposite angle, suddenly the man is to Ryan's left and the woman is totally missing. This happens a few times throughout the scene.
Continuity mistake: There wasn't much blood noticeable on the axe after it was used to chop off the mermaid's tail, but a little later when the man was carrying it over his shoulder, it was heavily covered in blood and dripping. (00:14:17)

Continuity mistake: For a second time in the movie, someone buzzes June on the intercom. She tries to overcome her fears and get out of the apartment, but can't. She shuts the door, leans with the left hand on the doorframe by the chain, and lowers her arm. In the next shot, Naomi Watts is breathing deeply still with her hand by the chain. (00:06:05)
Continuity mistake: In the prologue, the Nazis storm the Bresson residence. The elder Professor Bresson is sitting at his desk, back turned to them. Continuity mistake: The location and intensity of Lavinia's purple hair highlights vary throughout the movie. For example, the purple highlights on the right side were far more pronounced (two wide, distinct, vivid lines) when she got home compared to when she first met Ward. Lavinia rode her horse Comet home, so her hair would have been wind-blown and the highlights would not have been likely to be neatly straight down, especially since she has long curly hair. Continuity mistake: Dr. Mitchell's tie was sticking out below the back side of his shirt collar when he approached the front desk but not a few seconds later when he was turning to see Carson or when the receptionist was handing him a doctor's white coat. Continuity mistake: Scooby and Shaggy are lying face down on the massage table when the zombies arrive. Shaggy has his robe lowered baring the upper back, but in the close-ups you can still see the robe up covering his shoulders perfectly. (00:28:00)
