Continuity mistake: When Ace is trying to work out what Einhorn and Finkle have to do with each other, his dog sits on a photo of Finkle and its hair does not cover the face, the shot moves to Ace and then back to the dog and now its hair is covering the face of the photo without even moving. Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when the mob guys come to the boat house to move the body, Barry the Blade shoots a raccoon with his gun which has a silencer. But, later when Reggie shoots the neighbor's alarm system with Barry's gun, it does not sound like it has a silencer anymore.
Suggested correction: The silencer fell off the gun when "the blade" tackled the kid and Reggie. They show the silencer falling off the gun into the leaves.
Continuity mistake: When Julie scares the nurse with the needle, the nurse turns around. When it cuts, she turns around again. (01:15:10)
Continuity mistake: In the water tank sequence Cranston dives to the bullet holes to get air. When he dives down there is a camera shot looking up at him from the bottom of the tank showing that there is plenty of air left at the top, no doubt left there so that the actor would not drown. And; for the sealed tank to fill completely there must have been a way for air to escape rapidly from the top. When the tank was full water kept pouring in and would have escaped the same way. When Margo arrives there is no water coming off the top of the tank.
Suggested correction: The tank is to test pressure. Had water been escaping so would have Cranston.
Continuity mistake: Shortly after his patient's suicide, we see Bill from behind talking with an another man, and he makes some comment about suicide and motions to his head with his right hand. But when the camera shows him from the front, he is putting his left arm down.
Continuity mistake: At the end the amount of blood around Ditch's mouth changes from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: When Cane's agent gets out off the bookstore and crosses the street, the cars keeps changing all the time between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Mr Henderson is dressed as a penguin in the hall and gives Billy an envelope to take to Mrs Henderson, it is manila (brown/yellow). When Billy sees Mrs Henderson in the control room, he hands her a white envelope.
