Frasier

Space Quest - S1-E2

Audio problem: Just before Frasier opens the door to get his paper, he says "I'll get him for this and his little dog too". However, his mouth moves when he says "I'll get him for this and his...", but his mouth doesn't move when he says "...little dog too". (00:02:40)

Seat of Power - S2-E11

Audio problem: Frasier is talking to Elliot on the phone and there is a shot of Roz. In the shot of Roz, Frasier says "You know, Elliot..." and his reflection is visible in the window. But his lips on the window reflection don't move until after he says "You know, Elliot..." (00:00:30)

Casual Person

Leapin' Lizards - S3-E4

Audio problem: Near the start of the show, Frasier is in the booth at KACL, and has told Roz off and is glaring at her through the glass. As the shot shows her face, however, we can see the reflection of Frasier in the glass - he is smiling and his lips are moving as though he is talking. However, there is no audio to match his speech.

The Maris Counselor - S5-E13

Audio problem: At the end of the show, Niles picks up the bottle of booze from his father's chairside table, and we hear a thud - as though he had put it down, rather than picked it up. The same sound is repeated a short time later, when he does put the bottle down.

Dial M For Martin - S6-E3

Audio problem: As Frasier walks into Niles' kitchen, Daphne is on the phone, talking. We hear a hoarse sound, like Frasier's voice, saying "Daph" or "Dad" but it makes no sense as she is on the phone talking to someone, and he is heading for the fridge. When she hangs up, she and Frasier start talking about her employment situation.

Dr. Nora - S6-E20

Audio problem: Dr. Nora's mother is pounding on the glass of Frasier's booth. She then wags her finger at Nora but the sound of her pounding continues, even though she's no longer doing it.

Everyone's a Critic - S7-E4

Audio problem: When Frasier is in the hall explaining to Kenny and Gil why Poppy has her own show, we can see Poppy through the glass of the door. She is supposed to be doing her show, and we can hear the audio in the background. However, it is obvious that Poppy is not talking at all - she is sitting perfectly still with a very blank look on her face.

Something About Dr. Mary - S7-E16

Audio problem: After Mary says "Except I bet you didn't walk through a metal detector to get to class", Frasier in that shot does not move his mouth in line with the dialog that he speaks, but instead appears to be laughing. Additionally in the next shot, although his mouth now matches his dialog, he is half way out of his seat despite being sat in it in the previous shot. (00:02:15)

Douglasac

The Bad Son - S8-E3

Audio problem: Frasier is standing in his living room talking to Niles. We hear a knocking or tapping. As Frasier is expecting his date, Miranda, this might make sense, but they do not seem to hear it and make no move towards the door. A short time later the doorbell rings and Frasier's date arrives.

Taking Liberties - S8-E5

Audio problem: In the opening credits Frasier is in Cafe Nervosa with Roz, who is trying to sell him gift wrap. He says, "I'm not crazy about Garfield," and then his lips keep moving even though there is no sound heard.

Legal Tender Love and Care - S8-E6

Audio problem: This does not sound like a case of Frasier stuttering but it sounds like two sets of the same line over top of each other. When Niles sees Donny come into the restaurant, Abby and Frasier just turn to look and Niles exclaims "I said, don't look." - and Frasier says "you - you did not - not". It's as though they forgot to edit out some sound from two different shots.

Cranes Go Caribbean - S8-E24

Audio problem: In the restaurant Frasier says "There's an ocean of fresh fish not 15 feet away," and you can even see the blue reflection of the water and it's movement as it laps against the shore. Why then, can't you hear waves crashing at all? This is especially strange as in every other scene in this restaurant you can year it, but not in this particular one.

David Mercier

Freudian Sleep - S11-E14

Audio problem: Frasier is on the air and is talking to Roz who is in her booth. As he says "Meanwhile, this is Dr. Frasier Crane," we can see his reflection in the glass but his lips aren't moving, even though he is talking.

And Frasier Makes Three - S11-E20

Audio problem: There are two audio problems in this episode, both in the same scene. Frasier is in his apt. talking to Niles, Daphne, and Martin. After Marty says, "Wow, really?", we hear a couple of garbled words while Niles' lips move. Then as Frasier heads to the door, Daphne asks, "How'd he hurt himself anyway?" While she is saying this, we can hear a phone ringing faintly. It is not coming from on stage, no one moves to answer a phone, and it has no part of the plot.

Enemy at the Gate - S10-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Frasier is standing through his sunroof to speak with the drivers stuck behind him in the parking garage, one shot shows Frasier's body and much of the rear window which features a very clear reflection of the boom mic.

Selling Out - S1-E9

Frasier: Roger, at Cornell University they have an incredible piece of scientific equipment known as the Tunneling Electron Microscope. Now, this microscope is so powerful that by firing electrons you can actually see images of the atom, the infinitesimally minute building blocks of our universe. Roger, if I were using that microscope right now, I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in your problem.

Caught in the Act - S11-E15

Trivia: When Nanette tells Frasier she's tired of playing her children's show character, she asks him if he knows what it's like to play the same character for twenty years. By this point, Kelsey Grammer had been playing Frasier for twenty years: eleven on 'Frasier' and nine on 'Cheers'.

Show generally

Question: There's probably an obvious answer to this but is there any actual in-show significance to the 'Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs' song heard at the end of every episode? I ask mainly because I remembered there was one show in particular where Frasier unintentionally scars Lilith emotionally and pretty much cements the end of their relationship over a misunderstanding about scrambled eggs. Were there any similar conflicts over a tossed salad?

Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
