Slow Tango in South Seattle - S2-E1

Other mistake: When Frasier is complaining that he is not mentioned in the acknowledgments of the novel, he picks up the book and then slams it down on the desk. It sits face up, near the front of the desk. In the next shot of the desk, we see that the book is face down and has moved back.

Dark Victory - S2-E24

Other mistake: When the power outage occurs, Daphne claims she can't cook the steaks, however, the cook top in the kitchen is gas. They have matches as shown by them lighting the hurricane lamps.

Suggested correction: In episode 6:02, Frasier's Curse, Niles finds Frasier's head in the stove and is worried. Frasier responses "I was cleaning it, Niles. It's electric" The matches seen in episode 2:24 were more likely used for candles (like for Frasier's bath), not the oven, because it's electric.

The range is gas burning. You can see the grates and burners indicative of a gas cook-top. The comment regarding the matches wasn't used as proof the range is gas, but merely to point out they had the ability to light the gas cook-top (to avoid someone correcting the mistake by saying maybe they had no matches). The mistake is valid. In s06e02, the cook-top is still gas and one may want to submit a character mistake for that episode because Frasier says it's electric when we see it's gas. However, if one submits the mistake, be prepared for someone to correct the mistake by pointing out that dual fuel ranges exist, so the oven could be electric and cook-top gas, Frasier has an electric oven and gas stove, or Frasier was simply lying.

Chess Pains - S3-E18

Other mistake: When Frasier sets off the fire alarm Daphne comes running from her bedroom at the end of the hall across from Martin's room and Frasier's room. That is incorrect and impossible since Daphne's Room is on the other end of the condo and separated by the balcony. Given the condo layout, it is impossible for Daphne's bedroom to have a door across from Frasier's bedroom.

The Two Mrs. Cranes - S4-E1

Other mistake: The guy who plays Clive in this episode has one of the most appalling accents I have heard. He's apparently from Manchester, but sounds like a sort of cockney South African. His accent slips around all the time; it's very poor. I wouldn't normally submit it, but his is so shockingly bad I doubt anyone would be fooled into thinking he was British.

Daphne Hates Sherry - S4-E21

Other mistake: When Frasier enters the apartment, Martin and Sherry are talking in the kitchen. If you listen carefully to what they're saying, their conversation makes no sense. Martin says something along the lines of "Daphne is really a very nice girl" before suddenly, in a very different tone of voice, he says "You're right, we're not getting enough privacy around here". Seems like a big chunk of conversation was edited out.

The Perfect Guy - S5-E17

Other mistake: Frasier seems jealous in this episode that Dr Webber went to Oxford, he even says, "Oh well, even better," in comparison to his own Harvard. However, in several other episodes we are told that Frasier got degrees from both Harvard and Oxford so why the jealously? Similarly in other episodes, he never mentions Oxford, only Harvard as where he went to University.

Big Crane on Campus - S7-E14

Other mistake: In the kitchen, when Niles burns his hand you can see him move his hand down to stop the frying pan from falling off the stove. He doesn't touch it again, but it looks like the instinctive actions of someone who knocked something over rather than part of the scene. He just slips out of character for a moment.

Legal Tender Love and Care - S8-E6

Other mistake: Frasier comes into Abbie's office holding his overcoat - a couple of shots later it is draped over a chair even though Frasier didn't have time to put it there and get back to where he stood throughout the scene.

Legal Tender Love and Care - S8-E6

Other mistake: About 2/3s of the way through the episode, Daphne and her ex-boyfriend are at the courthouse where he is getting married. There is a board in the background with the names of the judges listed on it. The bottom judge's name has the "u" missing in the title Judge.

A Passing Fancy - S8-E22

Other mistake: In the scene where Frasier is in line for tickets for Roz he is talking to Lana on the phone and asks if he can move Kirby's tutoring up "tomorrow" to four right after school because he made plans with Claire later that night. You can see on the sign next to him that the tickets go on sale Saturday morning and Roz had previously said in the beginning of the episode that she wanted to start standing in line Friday so she would be first in line Saturday morning. So it is obvious that Frasier is in line Friday night which would mean tomorrow would be Saturday, which means Kirby being in high school would not have school the next day (Saturday) like Frasier said. Crock Tales - S11-E22

Other mistake: This is for the episode "Crock Tales" (the 22nd of the season). Almost all the flashback sequences are wrong in time. The one from 2003 has Niles and Daphne coming back from their honeymoon but they married in 2002. Although not ever couple take their honeymoon directly after they've married, the wedding episode "Ring Cycle" mentions them going on their honeymoon.

Enemy at the Gate - S10-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Frasier is standing through his sunroof to speak with the drivers stuck behind him in the parking garage, one shot shows Frasier's body and much of the rear window which features a very clear reflection of the boom mic.

Frasier: And though washing one's hands twenty to thirty times a day would be considered obsessive/compulsive, please bear in mind that your husband is a coroner. Thank you for your call, Jeanine. Roz, whom do we have next?

Question: Counting his role on Cheers, Kesley Grammar has played Fraiser for twenty years. Is this the record for the longest portrayal of a character by a TV actor?

Answer: It equals the record of James Arness of "Gunsmoke" for the actor who's played the same part on TV NOT in a soap opera. If you include soaps there are two main contenders - William Roache, who's been playing Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street" in the UK since 1960. Don Hastings has been playing Robert Hughes in US soap "As the World Turns" since 1960 as well.
