Character mistake: Noel Shempsky (the supposed Star Trek Nerd) attributes the quote "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one" to James T. Kirk, when it was Spock who said it. (00:03:50)
A Word to the Wiseguy - S3-E15
Character mistake: In the scene where Jerome Belasco turns up unannounced at Frasier's apartment, Daphne tells him she's psychic and guesses that he's an osteopath. After Jerome leaves, Daphne says she thought he seemed very nice. Frasier turns to her and says, "This from the psychic who said he was a chiropractor."
Hot Ticket - S6-E4
Character mistake: In the last minute of the show, Frasier and Niles set to leave the bar. Frasier puts money on the bar to pay and the wife comes over and talks to them. Frasier moves the remaining money to his other hand. You can see his hands slightly twitching, and he accidentally drops the money on the floor, but acts like he is putting it in his pocket instead of picking it up, and leaves.
Character mistake: When Kenny's wife walks through the door, Frasier says "Aw Janet come on" instead of calling her Janice. (00:11:41)
Rooms With a View (2) - S10-E8
Character mistake: In the x-ray on the right, the x-ray is flipped. The heart should be displaying on the right.
Character mistake: Frasier tells Niles that the article on him will be in the winter/spring issue of Seattle Broadcaster. The man who interviews him introduces himself as a journalist from the Seattle Times.
Goodnight, Seattle: Part 2 - S11-E24
Character mistake: Frasier says, "it's only an hour flight to San Francisco..." Seattle to San Fransisco is two hours minimum.
Answer: It equals the record of James Arness of "Gunsmoke" for the actor who's played the same part on TV NOT in a soap opera. If you include soaps there are two main contenders - William Roache, who's been playing Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street" in the UK since 1960. Don Hastings has been playing Robert Hughes in US soap "As the World Turns" since 1960 as well.
