Trivia: A life-size bronze statue of Riff Raff dressed in the finale's space suit was erected in Hamilton, New Zealand in 2004, in a tribute to RHPS creator/writer Richard O'Brien. The following is inscribed on the plaque: "It's astounding! Where we stand is the birthplace of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. On this site stood the Embassy Theatre, the home of Hamilton's Late Night Double Feature show, and the barber shop where Richard O'Brien cut hair and daydreamed from 1959 to 1964." Emergency! (1972)
Trivia: By early 1971, battalion chief and certified emergency medical technician Jim Page was assigned the responsibility to coordinate and implement the Los Angeles Countywide Paramedic Rescue Services program. On May 11, 1971, at Fire Station 7 on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, Jim Page met with producer, Robert Cinadar, who was interested in developing a TV show based on the L.A. Fire Department's emerging Paramedic Rescue Services. When Emergency! premiered in 1971, there were only about a dozen paramedic units across the U.S., but soon after, the show brought recognition of the Paramedic program to viewers in U.S. and ultimately around the world. The realistic rescues on the TV show were widely praised and were used as instructional material by many fire departments, and by 1973, Congress passed the EMS Systems Act which gave financial support for the development and improvement of EMS. Jim Page served as technical consultant and writer of the show, for two years. The character name, John Gage was an homage to Jim Page.

Frasier (1993)
Trivia: During the show's eleven year run, there have been many celebrities who voiced the callers on Frasier's radio talk show, but are uncredited; most phoned in their lines, instead of recording at the studio. On the DVDs, the list of each season's celebrity phone voices are noted after the season finale. Some celebrities included: Mary Tyler Moore, as Marjorie, who couldn't confront her boss; Christopher Reeve, as Leonard, an agoraphobic who was afraid of wide open spaces; Matthew Broderick, as Mark, who liked to see himself on stores' video cameras; Elijah Wood, as Ethan, who got beaten up at school for being smart, and then insulted Frasier's answer; Ben Stiller, as Barry, who couldn't stop crying long enough to even talk about his problem; Ron Howard, as Stephen, who heard people talking to him through his radio; Carrie Fisher, as Phyllis, who had insomnia (Frasier fell asleep while on air, before he heard her problem) and Frasier advised, "Things will look better in the light of day, my advice is to sleep on it."; real-life husband/wife Phil Donahue and Marlo Thomas, as the married couple Larry and Sophie, who wanted a few of her girlfriends to come over on Super Bowl Sunday, but Larry refused unless Frasier was actually able to answer a football question on air; and many other enjoyable ones.

Pollyanna (1960)
Trivia: In the film, Pollyanna shows Reverend Ford (when he practices his fired up sermon in the field) the locket with the quotation "When you look for the bad in mankind expecting to find it, you surely will," inscribed upon it and then credits the adage to Abraham Lincoln. Seeing an opportunity, Roy Disney, Walt's brother and Disney Studio CEO, had thousands of promotional lockets with those inscribed words (duplicates of Pollyanna's charm bracelet as well) produced and sent to gift shops. By a stroke of luck, while on a family trip to Disneyland, the screenwriter/director, David Swift, happened to notice the locket copies in one of the Disney gift shops and contacted Roy at the Disney Studio and told him to recall all the lockets straight away, because he deliberately fabricated the quote for the film - Abraham Lincoln never said it.
