Corrected entry: The spots on SpongeBob always changes between shots. For example, one shot, there is a big round spot on him, but in the next shot, it would be either somewhere else, or in a different size.

Red Eye (2005)
Corrected entry: When Lisa and Jackson are talking on the plane she looks out the window and kind of leans her head toward the head rest. The camera switches positions and when it goes back she is now looking straight ahead. A little while later it shows her do the same thing only this time her head doesn't switch between shots.
Correction: I think a bit more information is needed for this mistake. Over half the film takes place with Lisa and Jackson sitting on the plane and in most scenes she is moving her head around. With no timecode or no indication of when the mistake occurs its near impossible to find this mistake.

Red Eye (2005)
Corrected entry: Near the end where Lisa is going to save her Dad and kills the hitman with the car. When Lisa goes to see if he is dead, there is a very large pool of blood around his head. But about five minutes later when Jack goes to get the knife attached to his belt, there is only a small pool of blood.

Red Eye (2005)
Corrected entry: When Lisa first sits down on the plane while Jackson is putting the other passenger's luggage up in the luggage compartment, Lisa's window is full of water drops because of the weather. However, when Jackson sits back down next to Lisa, the window is completely dry.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: When T-800 encounters John for the first time, he gets the gun out of the box, points it in John's direction, says "Get down" and only then do we see T-1000 enter the hallway. Even if this was scripted so as to be more dramatic, it still doesn't make much sense. Why would T-800 anticipate T-1000's presence?
Correction: Not understanding why a character does something is not the same as being a mistake. Even if that was the case there are a couple of points to consider. Firstly the shot is not in full motion so its hard to compare whether the T-800 had or hadn't seen the T-1000. Secondly the shot seems to show he is pointing the gun at about the time the T-1000 is turning the corner so its not hard to believe being as sophisticated as he is that he spotted him immediately.

Pulp Fiction (1994)
Corrected entry: Marcellus Wallace is bound and gagged while being sodomized by Zed. Butch makes the save by killing Maynard and holding the sword to Zed. Marcellus then shoots Zed with a shotgun. However it is never revealed how Marcellus becomes untied. His bonds had to have been good and tight in order for Zed to have his way with him.
Correction: Marcellus was tied up when he sitting down but you cannot actually see his hands until he pumps the shotgun. They would have had to untie him to position him, and the fact there was two against one (and that they had a shotgun and a pistol) would mean there was a good chance they didn't bother tying his hands up again.

King of the Hill (1997)
Corrected entry: In the episode with Santa Ana's wooden leg. After Dale has made Cotton the fake driver's license, he holds it up and you can already see part of the word "Cheerios", showing that Dale used a cereal box to make it. Cotton would obviously notice when he took the license.

American Pie (1999)
Corrected entry: When Jim is 'experimenting' with the pie, his dad walks in and immediately exclaims in horror. However, Jim is standing with his back to the door, with nothing visibly amiss.
Correction: It should be noted there are two different versions to this scene. In the unrated version Jim is seen having sex with the pie and is lying on top of it on the counter. In the R-Rated version Jim is standing up. Even with that difference, the father's reaction can be from the fact that he is doing something bizarre. We can see he is not wearing his pants so his father's reaction is more of shock of what he is doing rather than he knows it's a pie.

Inside Man (2006)
Corrected entry: When Denzel Washington shows up at the bank for the first time, the police officer who originally discovered the robbery makes reference to "one of the gunmen". He has only seen one person holding up the bank so how does he know there are more than one gunman?
Correction: There are a few explanations for this. The first is that the officer assumed that there must have been more than one robber. The fact that the robber came outside and would have been leaving a large number of hostages quite a distance away would throw the possibility that someone would have to be watching them to stop them from escaping. Even if he hadn't thought of this, at the time Denzel arrives there has been quite a bit of time since the incident was reported. The police might have suspected or knew there was more than one and told the officer. Finally it could also come down to a character mistake. The officer might have thought there was more than one gunman as many robberies generally involve more than one person.

The Simpsons (1989)
Corrected entry: Marge's real hair color changes throughout the show. There are some episodes that show her hair is naturally blue, such as ones with flashbacks that show her as a child or younger teen with blue hair. Other episodes indicate that her hair is really brown, but she dyes it.

It's Not Easy Being Green - S5-E16
Corrected entry: There is no explanation shown for Bill, Hank, and Dale being able to start Boomhauer's car in the flashback. Boomhauer wouldn't let them drive it, so he obviously didn't give them the keys.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the young Elizabeth Swann is on the ship and young William Turner is found floating in the water, young Elizabeth says the word "okay," which was not in common usage until the 1830s at the very earliest.
Correction: This type of mistake has been submitted for many other films and while it may not be common that is not the same as being non-existant. There are many explanations how she knew the word, she overheard the word, read about it etc. A word or phrase does not have to be in frequent use to avoid being a mistake.

A Fire Fighting We Will Go - S3-E10
Corrected entry: When Bill is telling his version of what happened at the station, and he mentions Dale switching the names on the oxygen tanks, Dale is shown with dark hair than normal.
Correction: The guys' recount of the events that transpired all seem to vary as it is their recollection and memory. Even if Dale's hair was darker, it was how Bill remembered it not a straight replay of what happened. Throughout the episode the biggest problem with finding out what happened is that they all seem to remember so many details differently.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Mary Jane is performing in her play, and notices that Peter shows up, she says "Yes. I mean, no" when the other actresses asks about forgiving. The "I mean, no" part is actually in The Importance Of Being Earnest" (the play), even though it looks like Mary Jane was so annoyed with Peter that she messed up her line at first.

Bowling for Columbine (2002)
Corrected entry: Contrary to the cartoon segment ("A Brief History of the United States") of the documentary, no one was ever burned to death for being a witch in America. In Colonial America, the punishment for witchcraft was death by hanging. Only in Europe is where witchcraft was punished by burning at the stake.
Correction: The cartoon segment is essentially a satrical look at American history and its facts seems to be exaggerated more for a comedic look at America. As for burning witches in Colonial America, the facts of how some were the executed of witches is very much a disputed subject. While its believed many were hanged as opposed to being burnt as it was more humane, there are historians who believe some were burnt. A quick search on Google will show this but this is one site that talks about the execution of witches. Burning Times.

Groundhog Day (1993)
Corrected entry: It only takes around 2 seconds for the piano student to stop playing, get her coat and books and be kicked out of the house.
Correction: First off, it's not exactly two seconds but is very quick. It's not likely her stuff would have been spread all around but in one place so getting out quickly was only a matter of the teacher getting her and throwing her out. Secondly that's the joke, Murray's character has just offered her a huge amount of money for lessons and she suddenly has no problem in throwing the student out as quick as can be.

Hotel Rwanda (2004)
Corrected entry: The Belgian flag on the uniform of the Belgian paratroopers is way too big. It should be only a few cm. Others such as the French carry their flag this big.
Correction: It has been mentioned many times on this site, but it is illegal for filmmakers to impersonate military personnel. This bit was copied from an correction for a similar mistake: "As it is illegal to impersonate military personnel, even in movies, film makers have to use small deviations on uniforms to avoid being prosecuted. It is one of those things that falls into the "suspension of disbelief" category."

Corrected entry: In the scene where Peter goes to the ATM to check the balance, he inserts his ATM card and gets the print out of his balance. When he grabs the receipt, he turns to leave (before he notices that there is too much money in the account) without getting his ATM card back. (01:05:55)

Meet the Parents (2000)
Corrected entry: Jack accuses Greg of spray-painting the shelter cat's tail to make him look like Mr. Jinx, but there's no way Jack could have known that Greg went to a shelter and found a cat with a white-tipped tail.
Correction: I don't quite see how the submitter has linked Jack to somehow knowing about the shelter, as he makes no such mention. Jack found out that the cat was a fake because his neighbour left a message saying that he had Mr. Jinx at his house. When the family gets home and smells the cat it just confirms that Greg brought home some cat and spray painted it.
Jack probably called nearby shelters to ask if someone brought in a cat matching Jinx's description. I am not debating your correction; just explaining how he might have known about the shelter cat after all. Someone would probably mention the cat with white on his tail, since he almost looked like Jinx.
