Corrected entry: Sherman tells Kevin that Jim's e-mail was sent to the entire East High directory, but when Jim is sending it earlier in the film, he only selects three recipients.
Corrected entry: The first time Nadia is mentioned, she is referred to as a Czechosolvakian exchange student. Later in the movie, when Kevin and Finch are waiting for Jim in Kevin's room (to see Nadia on the Net), there is a sticker on the mirror that says Class of 1999. The problem is, Czechoslovakia didn't exist in 1999. It split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993.
Correction: Many people still don't know this, or else just use the terminology regardless - it's the character's mistake, not the film.
Agreed, I feel it's intentional, as Jim was about 12 when the soviet union collapsed so he was likely more familiar with it. Plus she technically was from there as she was born prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Corrected entry: Right at the end of the movie, when Jim is dancing to Nadia we can see Jim's father appearing behind him, but a few seconds later there is an outside shot of the room where his hand is lying on the door frame.
Correction: Actually, Jim's dad DOES raise his arm on the frame. If you look carefully, you can see the shadow of his hand moving up.
Corrected entry: During the Lacrosse game when you see Oz score the goal, there is an illegal hit, Oz has the ball and a player from his team hits another player on the opposite team, that is an illegal hit and the goal would not count.
Corrected entry: When Nadia is in the bedroom, and Jim is using the camera to webcast her, the angle we see on his friend's computer is totally different to that on another computer we are shown. (00:42:48)
Corrected entry: In the beginning, Oz is in the car with the college girl, he tries to 'seduce' her, then she says: 'That's pathetic'. Her mouth is not moving at all. (00:10:24)
Corrected entry: When Jim is dancing for Nadia, everyone watching can hear the music, but when they are talking Finch and Kevin don't know what they are talking about.
Correction: The radio that is playing the music is closer to the camera, not to mention being at a louder volume than Jim and Nadia's voices, effectively drowning out their voices. The same thing happens with cell phones as well, whenever someone is near music being played, it drowns out the voice of the person on the other end of the phone.
Corrected entry: When Jim is 'experimenting' with the pie, his dad walks in and immediately exclaims in horror. However, Jim is standing with his back to the door, with nothing visibly amiss.
Correction: It should be noted there are two different versions to this scene. In the unrated version Jim is seen having sex with the pie and is lying on top of it on the counter. In the R-Rated version Jim is standing up. Even with that difference, the father's reaction can be from the fact that he is doing something bizarre. We can see he is not wearing his pants so his father's reaction is more of shock of what he is doing rather than he knows it's a pie.
Corrected entry: If you look on the destination screen, when Jim is emailing his friends the link to watch Nadia on the internet, if you look hard enough, you will see in that Stifler is listed two times on the destination list. (00:42:41)
Correction: The reason Stifler's name is on the list twice is because one link is sent to Steven Stifler and the other link is sent to Steven's little brother, the other Stifler.
Corrected entry: When Jim's setting up his computer to take a photo of himself for the dating site, we see shots of him trying to look good for the camera. However, in the supposedly live shots of him gurning at the camera on the monitor the blinds are open, whereas in the wider shots of him in the room they're well and truly shut - the webcam footage was obviously taped. (00:19:55)
Correction: The webcam is looking up at the blinds, making them appear open; while the main camera is looking down on the blinds, making them appear closed.
Corrected entry: When Jim is setting up his computer camera and adjusting and re-adjusting it so it centers around the bed area, his dad brings Nadia in the room and Jim excitedly jumps up and bumps the desk. You can see the camera on top of the computer move substantially out of position. There is no way anyone would have seen anything but the wall.
Correction: The camera shakes, but it doesn't move.
Corrected entry: In the final lacrosse game when Oz scores, it looks like when he shoots, it doesn't actually go in the net, but hits the bar instead. (01:03:41)
Correction: He does this on purpose, if you keep watching you hear the coach talking about his miss in the teamtalk.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Finch runs into the girls bathroom, he pulls down his pants. While he is doing his business, you can see that he is still wearing his underwear.
Correction: That is not Finch's underwear that you are seeing, it is his shirt.
Corrected entry: When Jim's friends are watching him dancing for Nadia on the webcam, they can hear the dancing music Nadia has playing, which is strange, because Jim hasn't set up a microphone.
Correction: Webcams have had integrated mikes for years. Mine does.
Correction: If you look really closely, Jim does accidently click on the East High directory.
