Other mistake: When Frank stops to change a flat tyre on his BMW, he finds the flat is his front left tyre. He then changes the right rear tyre.

The Transporter (2002)
Suggested correction: No, he walks around the car and sees it's the right rear tire that is flat. The front left tire is just fine the entire time.

Death in Paradise (2011)
Episode #1.2 - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When Camille circles Adam on the whiteboard the circle is complete, however a few seconds later it's half rubbed out. (00:37:46)
Suggested correction: Richard erases part of the circle.
Except we see Richard standing there without touching the board. Then, as he moves towards the board, the camera cuts, and while his hand is on the board, most of the circle is already wiped off where he didn't have enough time to do it. Plus, the amount that the circle is wiped off also changes.

German for Beginners and a Crazy Old Man with a Bat - S6-E20
Character mistake: Sheldon says that "entrez vous" is German for "come in." That is actually French.
Suggested correction: He says "eintreten."

Fargo (1996)
Plot hole: The two kidnappers are pulled over by the cop they eventually murder because they are not displaying temporary tags on their car. However, when Marge Gunderson shows up to investigate the crime scene the next morning, she figures out from the cop's citation book that the car had dealer plates (DLR.) If the car had dealer plates, they wouldn't need to display temporary tags, as tags are to be used when a license plate is not yet available for a car. There was no need to pull the kidnappers over, which makes the turning point of the story completely pointless.
Suggested correction: Temporary tags have a non-unique number and the designation of the dealer on them, the cop put down DLR and was then going to put the dealer's number when they produced the temporary tag which they said they had forgotten to place in the window. On a temporary tag, the "tag number" is either the date the temporary tag expires or one of a limited number assigned to that dealer so it is not unusual to see duplicate temporary tags on different cars on the same day - you would need the dealer's number which is rather small at the bottom of the paper to actually identify the car.
But the point is that the police officer said he pulled them over because they were displaying no tag. If there had been a dealer tag on the car, then why would the officer have pulled them over? That's what a dealer tag is for: so a car can be driven displaying it. Yet everything that happens after that is predicated on the officer having begun to write out the number *on their tag*.
Suggested correction: They probably just had the generic plastic dealership logo plate on. Not an actual dealer plate with a number, but something with a logo and "Gustafson Motors" on it (or whatever the name of the car lot was).
That means they have no tags and the cop wouldn't write DLR. A logo with the dealer's name isn't a dealer tag.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (1989)
Factual error: The evil SS officer is addressed as "Herr Oberst" (Colonel) throughout the movie. In the SS, however, this rank was called "Standartenfuehrer". (00:56:40)
Suggested correction: In fact, Oberst is the literal translation of the word "Colonel" into German. It would not be unusual for Germans to call a colonel by his rank in his native language (even if he is an SS colonel).
This correction doesn't address the mistake, which is the rank on his uniform isn't what he's addressed as. It has nothing to do with what the word translates into (which the mistake even points out).

Quiet Night, Deadly Night - S5-E4
Character mistake: Nils is playing checkers with Mark. Nils calls him "Mark" then "John." (00:20:35)
Suggested correction: He says "now", not "John." After he Mark says he remembers it like it was yesterday, Nils says "go on, it's your move now."

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)
Corrected entry: Raka says that they call all humans "Nova." This would make sense if this movie took place after Taylor's appearance (in the original, 1968 movie), as the apes could have adopted Taylor's name for the human he paired up with, and applied to all humans. BUT, this movie takes place, chronologically, long before Taylor arrives. So the inclusion of the name Nova in this movie was probably just a nod to the original, but logically very farfetched in its coincidence. Or someone really screwed up.
Correction: First, this is a reboot and doesn't take place in the original film series universe. Second, Nova was the name of the deaf girl in the rebooted film "War for the Planet of the Apes" and accompanied and helped Caesar. Her real name was unknown and when they came across a Chevy Nova, that inspired the name used for her. It's should be noted that "Nova" comes from the original book, so every film adaptation uses as a nod to the book.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999)
Character mistake: Olivia's talking to Cassidy about the previous night. She says, "We went to Meloni's place." I assume she meant Stabler.
Suggested correction: She didn't say place. She said "we went to Maloney's, we got drunk." Maloney's is a name of a few bars in New York.

Never Trust an Honest Man - S1-E14
Character mistake: When Heyes and Curry join the poker game with Harlenjen near the start of the episode, Harlenjen says, "Heyes bets," even though it looks like the other guy is betting first, plus he doesn't know Heyes' real name.
Suggested correction: He said "Ace bets", meaning the high card showing on the table places the first bet. The guy replied "Ace bets a hundred."

Smokey and the Bandit (1977)
Corrected entry: When Bandit uses the CB radio to ask Snowman where he is, and Snowman says "mile marker 85" you can see that "Frog" is driving. Then, when the camera shows Snowman look in the mirror, Bandit is driving. A moment later, it shows that Frog is driving again.
Correction: Because it's a reflection, things look reversed. Frog is actually driving the car all along.
Bandit is driving when viewed in the rearview. It has nothing to do with the image being in reverse. Bandit is on the outside of the mirror which would be the driver's seat in the car behind him. That's how a mirror works.
In the scene, they're on a 2-lane road divided by a yellow line. When we see the car in the truck's side mirror, it's on Snowman's right side, meaning on the wrong side of the road. The yellow line is to the right of the driver (in America), so if they're going the wrong way, the yellow line would be to the left of the driver so that the passenger is closest to the yellow line. In the shot of the car in the side mirror, Bandit is closest to the yellow line, meaning he's not driving.

Overboard (1987)
Corrected entry: Anne has the kids trick her by putting glue on plates, and they stick to her hands. She gets even by spraying the whole family with a garden hose - no plates on her hands. Then they chase her outside, and she has the plates stuck to her hands again.
Correction: She has the plates on her hands the whole time she's spraying everyone. You even see the plates after Dean says they need forks and the camera is behind her.

The Cockleshell Heroes (1955)
Factual error: Towards the end of the film, in the harbour, a shot alongside a ship with a ladder to the waterline, on the left of the shot visible in the middle distance are modern container cranes.
Suggested correction: This entry really needs to be more specific. What do you consider "modern"? What do you think you saw? The film, while set in 1942, came out in 1955. I saw the cranes in the harbor that don't look specific to the 50's that would be out of place in the 40's. It should be noted, the first container crane was built in 1959.

Jack (1996)
Other mistake: Jack's parents were at a Halloween party when his mother went into labor. Later in the movie when he's asked by his teacher he says his birthday is September 12th.
Suggested correction: The movie doesn't specifically say this is a Halloween party. This may simply be a costume party which can and do happen multiple times a year.
As you stated, it doesn't say it's a Halloween party. In fact, there's signs in the room that say "Beaux-Arts Ball."

That '70s Show (1998)
Punk Chick - S1-E22
Continuity mistake: When Eric and Hyde are talking, while on Hyde's front porch, they talk about painting a pot leaf on the Water Tower before Hyde leaves to New York, but they already did it in the previous episode, "The Water Tower." (00:17:35)
Suggested correction: This episode (production code 120) was filmed before the "Water Tower" episode (production code 123). It was just aired out of order. If you watch it in the right order, there is no mistake.
Suggested correction: Eric said, "Do you remember when we painted the pot leaf on the Water Tower?" Hyde said, "Vandalism isn't a good reason to stay." Eric said, "We wouldn't do it without him, meaning vandalism."
That's not what was said at all. Eric said, "Remember? We were gonna paint that pot leaf on the Water Tower?" Hyde then says, "You can do that without me."

Jack (1996)
Continuity mistake: When Jack's mom takes him to school, she's barefoot in the front yard. The next shot at school, she's wearing shoes.
Suggested correction: She's not barefoot, you can see her shoes. They're the same ones she has on later.

Shallow Hal (2001)
Continuity mistake: After Hal's hypnosis is broken at the restaurant, he's outside talking with Mauricio and then Katrina walks up to him saying he never called her back. During that line walking up, she still looks fairly attractive (but not nearly like the supermodel look Hal saw in the cab). Then the camera is on Hal a second then back to Katrina and suddenly now she looks fully "unattractive" for the rest of the scene. She should have also looked fully just as unattractive when first walking up to Hal as well.
Suggested correction: The version of Katrina we see the second time, as she's walking, doesn't change when she starts talking to Hal. Her hair is pulled back and into a ponytail instead of full and blonde like the first time we saw her. The only difference is we don't see her teeth until she starts talking. The camera also never cuts away from Katrina when she's seen walking up to Hal and when she first talks to him. It cuts to him after we see she's less attractive.
Yes, however, her mouth closes close up (without showing her teeth for a second or two), and she still looks like a different person than when first walking up. Maybe it's just the way I see it (maybe I caught Hal's hypnosis).

Erin Brockovich (2000)
Corrected entry: In Erin's son's bedroom he has a poster for the movie Jurrasic Park, but Jurrasic Park had not even come out from when the movie Erin Brockovich was set.
Correction: Loads of people seem to think that the movie's set in the mid-80's, which just isn't the case. The events of the film took place in the early 90's (check out http://www.lawbuzz.com/famous_trials/erin_brockovich/erin_brockovich.htm), and so a Jurassic Park poster isn't at all out of place.
Jurassic Park, the movie, came out in 1993, which is when all of the merchandise came out. The plot of Erin Brockovich ends in 1992. Some parts of Erin Brockovich probably did take place in the late 80s, depending on how long she spent on her research.
The film starts in 1993. That's when she starts her investigation. She gets fired in July of '93. PG&E settled in 1996.

Saltburn (2023)
Factual error: This is set in summer 2007 but they watch Superbad (released August 2007) on DVD.
Suggested correction: The movie actually takes place in 2006. Superbad coming out in 2007 was correct.
Do a word change if the mistake is valid. Not a correction.
The movie starts in late 2006, then Oliver is invited to spend the summer (2007) with Felix, where the bulk of the movie takes place.

Scrooged (1988)
Corrected entry: The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Frank to 1955 when Frank was four years old. When Frank asks to be taken to his office, the year on the meter now reads 1968, and Frank sees his young self working at IBC. Frank would have only been 13 years old and far too young to work at IBC. (00:37:48 - 00:42:21)
Correction: Your math is wrong. If Frank is 4 years old in 1955, then 13 years later he would be 17 in 1968.

Beavis and Butthead Do America (1996)
Continuity mistake: There are no bongos in the song "Love Rollercoaster", yet in the casino scene in the movie where the song is played, the band has a bongo player. (00:19:25)
Suggested correction: It's not unusual to add extra instruments on live performances. Sometimes whole orchestras are added in rock songs when performed live.
The RHCP version heard/used has no bongos. And it's not a live version, nor have they ever performed the song live.
