Continuity mistake: At the 9th inning, Rick pitches and manages to get a triple play. The last shot before we see the scoreboard though is of Rick walking back to the bench, with his catcher mask, which was the role he played earlier. (00:38:25)

Continuity mistake: During Magnum's final run to win the game, the person with the ball changes; it's either a white guy in the vicinity of second base, or a black outfielder by the fence. (00:43:40)

Continuity mistake: In the finale, Magnum is playing a solitaire. On the desk, the card on top row is an ace, then there are from right to left a 6 of hearts, a Jack of hearts, two spaces with cards face down, and a 5. When the village idiot makes Magnum turn the queen, he does it picking it between an 8 of hearts and a Jack of clubs that were not there before. (00:45:30)
Continuity mistake: Magnum and TC are talking at the beginning of the episode, by Rick and his peachy polo. Magnum has always his hands on his hips in TC's close-ups and in front of his belly in the wider angle shots. (00:02:15)
Revealing mistake: The shot of the Ferrari during the directorial credits (filmed from a car in front) does not feature Roger E. Mosley behind the wheel; you can see a bit of longer hair sticking from the top. (00:04:30)
Revealing mistake: During the crash through the fence, the front of the Ferrari has a mockup in the front; the left direction indicator falls off outright, but it is just broken when TC and the new two passengers take off. (00:04:40)
Revealing mistake: TC's accident with the hog pen is shot in (at least) two takes, one with the stuntman dodging the car inside an otherwise empty pen, and the establishing shot with the animals when the car is still not so close - and then when the car has stopped at the end and there's no danger for the pigs. (00:04:40)
Continuity mistake: TC spots in a close-up the Marines tattoo of the guy he injured. The position of the daughter's hand (she has her fingers in the rolled sleeve) and body (she's tightly close) in that close-up is different than in the other views. (00:04:55)
Visible crew/equipment: After TC crashes into the pigpen fence he offers to take Leon to the hospital, and just as TC lifts Ima and places her inside the Ferrari, the tip of the low boom microphone is visible as it moves, at the left side of the screen. (00:05:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When TC pulls the van up to the estate gate, he and Leon walk over to the gate, and the white tape mark is visible on the ground in front of the gate. (00:05:35)
Continuity mistake: Higgins through the intercom asks "TC, why are you here?" TC lowers his left hand - he had his thumb near the intercom button before, now he put it on the card. New shot, and he's back sticking his thumb up. (00:06:25)
Continuity mistake: First scene in Higgins' study. Leon Platt is determined to go on with his fights even injured. He has his good hand on his daughter Ima's shoulder. She tells him "No daddy, you can't!" as he removes the hand, but in the following close-up on Shannen Doherty, the hand is back on the shoulder. (00:08:25)
Continuity mistake: Shannen Doherty does some fine emotional blackmail on TC chasing him as he is leaving after just finding out about the boxing being of the bareknuckle kind. During this scene TC's boot on his chest changes orientation without being touched, from tip to the left ("You just gotta help me") to right ("Do you know how bad he can get hurt?") to left again. (00:13:15)
Audio problem: When Charlie Amos says "No time to promote you" questioning TC's proposal to replace Leon, the sentence is dubbed in, having different audio quality from the rest. (00:13:55)
Continuity mistake: TC is accepted as replacement and tells Claude the announcer his boxing credentials. During the wide shots, Shannen Doherty's hair runs to the sleeve of her shirt, does not in close-ups. (00:14:00)
Continuity mistake: Claude rings a cowbell to announce the contenders. Amongst the patrons, recognizable and featured prominently is a local girl with a brown dress and white shoulderstraps. She is shouting and cheering in a frontal view, drink in hand, but she is also sitting in another seat, smoking, in the shots from behind. (00:14:50)
Audio problem: During the first match, Rick shouts "Attaboy, TC!" from the corner but Larry Manetti pops in frame during the dodge, lips closed. (00:16:05)
Continuity mistake: Magnum is talking with the landlady in Chicago. He sneaks a peek of the Tigers game on TV. In the wider angle the newspaper in front of the TV is folded revealing different letters than in the close-ups, where it's tightly pressed. (00:19:25)
Other mistake: Fun gag but does not make sense; Magnum has a prolonged conversation at the bar (not a random brief chance encounter) with Lou Whitaker and Alan Trammel, and he, a huge Tigers Fan who in other episodes proved to be able to recognize obscure players from other past teams, needs the bartender to tell him who they were. (00:27:30)
