Continuity mistake: When Magnum drops the ring out of the envelope, nothing is near it as it's shaking. In the close up shot, it's next to keys. (00:44:20)
Revealing mistake: In the opening of the second third of the season (the one with the iconic Mike Post theme) there is a brief scene with a car propelled in the air by an explosion. It's an outtake from the pilot movie, since the banged up car is very recognizable, but it's also easy to see why it was an outtake; you can easily see cables used to make the car fly in the air. Also, that car was not in an explosion in that episode.
Trivia: The man that Ms. Gordon, Parole Officer mistakes for Magnum, and that later he admits "sort of look alike" is Tom Lupo, a stunt coordinator and most importantly Tom Selleck's stunt double for this very series. (00:22:35)

Visible crew/equipment: After Higgins tells Magnum he's always amazed at the convoluted way Magnum's mind works, when Magnum walks around the wheelchair, two T-marks are visible on the ground; the black one is behind Higgins to his left and the green one to his right. (00:44:55)

Continuity mistake: While Luther is wearing the red and black Hawaiian shirt with palm trees design, the shirt's pattern changes within Luther's scenes although the style of the shirt stays the same. It then reverts to the original pattern. (00:17:10)
Other mistake: Forgetting the absurdity of a kid who's never been on a horse before that can just hop on one and gallop all night long, the stuntman riding Agatha's horse when Higgins and Magnum watch them fade into the night wears a striped shirt; Benny in the morning is still on the horse, on the run, but has a sports jersey with a very different color pattern, basically bi-color with the full bottom half powder blue. Revealing mistake: Magnum and the others are escaping from the cryo room; meanwhile the two baddies are by the door...but in a mirrored shot, with the letters (for instance the big "Corrosive" sign) seen in reverse. (00:43:45)
Luther Gillis: File #521 - S4-E2
Continuity mistake: Magnum is at the guesthouse with Luther. He grabs a Coops beer from the fridge, but does not close the cabinet door. Which is closed when Luther says he's gonna go get Artie. And then open again when Tom Selleck gets up and is in the same shot as Eugene Roche. (00:19:05)
Continuity mistake: Magnum during the surf ski race wears two different hats; first we see his Tigers hat (white logo), but then he has the yellow logo Da Nang hat - which he lost in the ocean during the season opener when the two "turkeys" capsized his craft. (00:42:00)
Continuity mistake: Magnum creates a Rodin-esque stack of beer cans. His store manager lambasts him, and when they are looking at his creation, it looks different already - the can he put on top as finishing touch is missing, immediately noticeable. (00:02:15)
Continuity mistake: When TC asks Benny (of course with no foreshadowing at all) "You don't wanna be someone else, do ya?" his van is parked in front of a hedge. Cut, and they are in front of garage doors. (00:32:45)
Italian Ice - S2-E15
Revealing mistake: The 'mysterious stalker' is looking at Magnum opening the door of Ferrari for Margo, through a camera lens. When later we see the photo developed, it does not match that angle at all. (00:24:20 - 00:32:40)

Revealing mistake: Magnum finds the unpleasant surprise of a large scratch on Robin's Ferrari. In close-up he runs his hand along the "bloody gouge", as Higgins later calls it, but it's a badly constructed prop; look at the turn signal, tiny and circular, nothing like the larger rectangular one of the car. Revealing mistake: When Magnum screams to attract Rick's attention and you can see the whole yacht, you can spot the real driver of the boat on the flybridge, not lit. (00:41:00)
Revealing mistake: The closing shot of the episode shows the lookout point platform where the suicide attempt happened...but also, below it, you can catch a glimpse of an additional platform, and a rope probably used for safety reasons as well. Needless to say, it was not featured in the dramatic shot of Holly looking down into the abyss. (00:46:55 - 00:47:40)
Two Birds of a Feather - S3-E19
Revealing mistake: Sam takes off from Van Nuys on his Super Stearman. We'll see him in Waco do all sort of acrobatics...but when he is first shown in the air right after talking with Richard Roundtree, you get a glimpse of another cockpit where the real pilot is, strapped with the safety belt that pokes in frame. Operation: Silent Night - S4-E10
Continuity mistake: TC is working by the tail rotor to fix the vibration. It's red with thin white stripes. By the end of the episode the rotor is the opposite; white with red stripes. (00:06:40 - 00:44:20)
Continuity mistake: Higgins wants to show Magnum the rare Kudu buck in a book. Picking it up from the shelf, causes 3 other books to lean forward. In the close-up that follows, just one book is misplaced. (00:26:30)
Visible crew/equipment: By the tidal pool, Magnum mentions ESP and says "I am not laughing", crouching down. Following his movement, a boom mike gets lower as well, thus getting in frame. (00:07:45)
