Continuity mistake: When Magnum finds Higgins waiting for him in the guesthouse Higgins asks for his advice, then Magnum goes to the fridge and removes a milk container with his left hand and a bowl with his right hand, but in the next closeup the milk container and bowl have switched hands. Visible crew/equipment: At the start, when Magnum is remembering what had happened Higgins calls his name, then just as Magnum puts on his sunglasses and lifts his head, the reflection of the camera and its operator, wearing a dark short sleeved shirt, is visible in his left lens. (00:03:20)

Visible crew/equipment: After Greene lets Magnum off without charges it cuts to Magnum in the Ferrari, and when he decides to find someone who knew "Mac" there's an overhead long shot as the car pulls to the side of the road (to make a U-turn), and in this long shot the second camera with crew members are visible at the left side of the screen. The next shot is the footage of the Ferrari making the sharp U-turn, that had been filmed by that second camera. Additionally, in the previous closeups facing Magnum during the short drive, the reflections on the lenses of his sunglasses are not normal, due to the dark screen where the camera is located. Visible crew/equipment: After "Mac" picks up his watch from the jewelry store, Magnum grabs him and drags him to the parking lot, and the shadow of the moving boom pole and mic follows them. (00:38:00)
Under World - S5-E5
Revealing mistake: In the opening shots of TC's helicopter, in one shot there are two helicopter shadows being cast on the water below, one shadow is TC's chopper and the other shadow is the filming chopper. The helicopter also changes between the T-tailed, Y-tailed, and different type skids. (00:01:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Laura and Magnum first meet at the estate, Magnum gets into the Ferrari and the vertical reflection of the boom pole/mic is visible on the trim beside the windshield. (00:05:55)
Visible crew/equipment: While Higgins is on the stepladder looking for a book Magnum and Laura are discussing her vision, then when Higgins locates the book he steps down, and there are two tape marks taped to the rug, in front of the desk. (00:37:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When Higgins berates Magnum about everything, including sleazy clients and unexpected guests, Carol walks in unexpectantly. Higgins then goes over to the hutch to get the keys, and the rectangular shadow of filming equipment moves into view at the left side of the screen. (00:05:40)

Visible crew/equipment: After the opening scene at the airport, when it cuts to the guesthouse we hear Magnum talking as the camera starts moving, and as it moves around the side of the couch two white tape marks become visible on the rug, at the opposite end of the coffee table. (00:03:40)

Visible crew/equipment: Luther and Higgins go down to the boat at dawn to "sneak on, shake down Davies" and "86 the goods." In the shot as they both board the tuna fish boat, there is a line of numerous wood wedges for the camera's dolly tracking, which are visible at the right side of the screen, as the camera follows this route.
Professor Jonathan Higgins - S5-E13
Visible crew/equipment: After Sally reveals her true self at the garden party, when Higgins and Mrs. Finch are in the study talking about her son and his fiance, there's a T-mark taped to the rug at her feet, then when Agatha walks into the study, another tape mark is visible on the couch. (00:28:00)
Professor Jonathan Higgins - S5-E13
Visible crew/equipment: When Agatha is with Higgins in the study, Sally walks in and stands beside an arm chair, then Agatha leaves and Sally sits down in that chair. After Higgins and Sally have their conversation the phone rings, and in the shots facing Sally there's a tape mark at the edge of the rug, beside the arm chair. (00:42:30)

Visible crew/equipment: When Carol and Magnum are at her office to look over case files, just as Steve walks into her office, the T-mark is visible on the floor near the door. (00:09:50)

Visible crew/equipment: When Magnum decides it's time for "Plan B" he tells Carol it might get scary, then after the second shot of Carol while she's singing, in the next shot of the woods a yellow plastic T-mark is visible on the ground, at the bottom of the screen. (00:46:00)
Visible crew/equipment: While Higgins admonishes Magnum during the failed attempt at the recreation of the battle, just as Higgins tells Magnum it's not a rhetorical question and adds, "If I am to prove my theory that General Lejeune..." in two shots a crew member and filming equipment are visible at the right side of the screen. Visible crew/equipment: While Lacy and Higgins are singing together, the actor's black tape mark is visible on the carpet, between his feet. (00:20:10)

Continuity mistake: While Carol has Fornier and Magnum in her office, Fornier explains he's just visiting as a tourist and she responds that he's illegally carrying a gun. In the next shot of Carol's torso there are changes which include, Carol's ring is missing from her left hand, and in this shot her blouse has buttons though there shouldn't be any, etc. (00:20:25)
The Man from Marseilles - S5-E20
Visible crew/equipment: When Magnum picks the lock of the stateroom so he and Carol can enter, in the next shot of Fornier with the syringe, the camera zooms out and lighting equipment is visible at the right side of the screen. (00:43:45)
