Visible crew/equipment: While John and Olivia are getting ready to leave for Alexandria, Ike arrives on his motorcycle and grabs the newspaper from the back, and in the next shot just as Ike says hi to everybody, we see the outline of the mic transmitter on Ike's back with its wire leading up to his shoulder. Visible crew/equipment: After the mince meat taste test Rose gets upset at Erin and Mary Ellen and goes for a walk, then when it cuts to Olivia reading to John-Boy, the shadow of the boom mic is visible on the wall at the top, right side of the screen, before it gets pulled up. (00:38:20)
Visible crew/equipment: After Ike and Corabeth tell Jim-Bob about the telegram they delivered to Betsy, when Jim-Bob drives over to Betsy's cabin in the woods he walks toward the front door, and crew members are visible at the left side of the screen. (00:42:00)
Visible crew/equipment: When Serena reminds Rose about the luncheon she gets into Jim-Bob's car then they drive off, and before the shot cuts away we can see a bit of lighting equipment with its wheeled base, near the tree at the left side of the screen. (00:03:40)

Continuity mistake: When Jim-Bob walks down the stairs carrying the new puppy, there are greeting cards on the shelf above the desk, and on the table there are only candles with greenery, but in the next shot as Jeffrey takes the puppy the greeting cards have vanished, and now there is food on the table along with the candles, which have also switched places. Continuity mistake: When Paul enters and exits the Dew Drop Inn, in the exterior shots the doorknob is at the left side of the front door as it opens, but in the interior shots that same door opens the opposite way, with the doorknob still at the left side of the door. (00:16:30)
Continuity mistake: While standing in front of the church, when Corabeth gives Cindy the ridiculous book Corabeth is wearing black gloves on both hands, but in the shots facing Cindy as she tries to refuse that book, we see Corabeth's hand gestures at the right side of the screen, and that hand is bare. (00:15:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Cindy brings Ben the oatmeal-raisin cookies Ben gets up and moves his chair, then as he sits down we can see the bulging outline of the mic transmitter at the back of his waist. (00:31:15)
Audio problem: While Ted and Jason are slopping pigs at the pen, Ted asks, "They really eat this garbage?" then as Ted pours the bucket contents we hear Ted exclaim, "They really eat this garbage!" but his mouth appears to say, "They really eat this crap!" (00:18:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When Elizabeth brings the new teacher to her home, as they walk inside the shadow of the boom mic dips into view at the top, right side of the screen. (00:05:50)
Visible crew/equipment: After Ike and Cora tell Verdie that Josh will be painting the storefront to pay back the money, when Verdie pulls Josh out of the store, the shadow of the boom mic is moving on the lattice wall. (00:30:20)
Visible crew/equipment: At the store, when Ike gives Steve and Drew the reel line, the shadow of the boom mic is moving on the wall above the telephone, then again when Ike follows the boys to the door for their payment, the boom mic's shadow is visible over the canned food. (00:08:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When Elizabeth agrees to go to the dance with Drew, as he gets on his bike and rides away the camera pans toward Elizabeth, and the mic's black wire is visible on Elizabeth's back going from the middle of the camisole, up under the strap, to over her shoulder. (00:34:55)
Visible crew/equipment: After John has the mishap with his lumber delivery on the road it cuts to him sitting at the table with the family, and while they discuss Jim-Bob's tattoo, as the camera is dollying out a crew member and lighting equipment become visible at the left side of the screen, and then again in a following shot. (00:04:15)
Visible crew/equipment: After John rehires Easy at the mill J.D. Pickett shows up to give John another order, and when John asks Pickett if he has some man power and equipment, the lavalier microphone is visible under Pickett's blazer as he turns around. (00:41:50)
Visible crew/equipment: After Serena tells Elizabeth and Jeffrey how Rose feels about Stanley, when Rose is on the porch she tells Jeffrey to come inside, and as Jeffrey bends over to pick up Nick, the bulging outline of the mic transmitter is visible on Jeffrey's back. (00:13:15)
Deliberate mistake: After Elizabeth goes upstairs with the pillowcases for Cindy, in the following shots there are a few long shots of Colonel Brunson's car on the road, and a couple of those shots are flipped - noticeable due to identical trees shown the opposite way. (00:03:55)
Other mistake: When Jim-Bob comes home unexpectedly while Drew is over, this scene takes place in the boys' bedroom. In the interior shot, when Jim-Bob tells Drew to douse the light Drew gets up and turns off the light in the boys' bedroom, then it cuts to the exterior shot which specifically shows their window going dark as the light is being turned off by Drew. The problem is in this exterior shot we are seeing the light go out in John-Boy's bedroom (where Mary Ellen resides with the baby), not the boys' bedroom. (00:26:00)
The Hot Rod - S9-E12
Continuity mistake: When Ike and the Baldwin sisters prepare to enter the "secret" room, in the shot from the foyer Miss Emily lights two new tall candles and they walk through the room's doorway. Then it cuts to inside the room as they all enter through the doorway, but both candles are now significantly shorter. (00:16:25)
