Visible crew/equipment: After Tip arrives in his automobile John introduces him to the family. Then, when Tip explains that he didn't know the ages or genders of John's children and gets the candy, the reflections of a crew member and the moving boom mic are visible on the hood's chrome surface facing the camera, as well as on the windshield. Other mistake: During close-ups of the kids, Maryellen is the only one of the girls wearing very visible eyeliner and mascara, that weren't apparent in earlier episodes.
Visible crew/equipment: After the children go off to collect berries while Jim-Bob stays home, when it cuts back to John-Boy and A.J. with the truck, the reflection of the camera operator is visible at the center of the windshield. (00:06:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When John-Boy walks into his home late and explains that A.J. helped him fix the truck, the long white tape mark is visible on the floor at John-Boy's feet, as well as the small white tape mark near Ben's feet. (00:10:55)
Continuity mistake: At the end the narrator states that they never see or hear from A.J. again; however, in Season 4 'The Abdication' is about A.J. coming back in connection with a movie for which he wrote the screen play.

Visible crew/equipment: After Ham gives John the tobacco he stole and lies about paying, when they get into the truck the reflections of some crew members are visible on the windshield as they drive off. (00:25:30)

Other mistake: After the fight, when John walks over to John-Boy, who's at the kitchen sink, and tells him to explain what it's all about, the camera pans a bit too far to the right so we can see the unfinished edge of the cabinet at the right. It's unfinished because the adjacent shorter double cabinet (with a glass door) which should be there is missing in this shot, then that cabinet is back when John-Boy turns around in a following shot. Visible crew/equipment: After Miss Emily tells her sister to serve some more Recipe to Homer and Zeb, when it cuts to the Walton house the set's lighting equipment is visible at the left side of the screen. (00:15:45)

Visible crew/equipment: While Esther and Sheriff Bridges are waiting for Zeb and John-Boy to get home, the white tape mark is visible on the floor under the table, where John-Boy will stand a moment later. (00:25:35)

Continuity mistake: After Emily Baldwin makes the lemonade toast, when it cuts to the Walton house John-Boy tells everyone to close their eyes. In Olivia's closeup we can see the wheeled metal legs of the washing machine base between her and Elizabeth, but it's not until three shots later that Ike and John bring the machine in from the porch. Audio problem: When John grabs Olivia from the kitchen sink to rejoin the family (over the washing machine snip) the children's laughter sounds more like a canned echo, or studio audience response.
Visible crew/equipment: When John-Boy asks Esther to help him with his story she replies that she'll tell him about it later, and in the next shot of Liv and John, filming equipment is visible at the right side of the screen. (00:04:15)
Visible crew/equipment: When John-Boy falls off the ladder and breaks his wrist Zeb drives him to the doctor in the truck. During their drive we can see through the window behind them, and there's a crew member wearing a red shirt riding along in the back, as they drive past a parked 1970s station wagon. The camera and its operator are casting a shadow on Zeb as well. (00:18:25)
Visible crew/equipment: After John-Boy quietly leaves his home to search for his sister it cuts to a long shot of Jamie and Mary Ellen, and at the lower right side of the screen we can see a crew member wearing eyeglasses moving around, with equipment in front of him. (00:34:50)
Revealing mistake: When Maryellen runs into John-Boy's arms (after running away) Richard Thomas (John-Boy) breaks character as he looks into Judy's (Maryellen) eyes, by swallowing hard. Like a guy would do, when he's close to an attractive girl. Then later covers his groin with the cast, when John and the kids check up on him. The two young actors playing Jon-boy and Maryellen crushed on each other behind the scenes.

Visible crew/equipment: When John-Boy drives up with Rex to tow the vehicle, the chrome surfaces of Alvira's automobile provide reflections of filming equipment and crew. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: When Ike buys a ticket from Zeb for Alvira's show Ike is standing near the front door, and in the next shot Ike is sitting beside Emily Baldwin chatting with her, but in the third shot Ben is just now showing Ike to his seat beside Emily. (00:38:45)
Continuity mistake: While Zeb and Cody are on their fishing outing we see that Zeb is wearing white long sleeve thermals under his grey/black shirt. When Reckless starts barking at the catfish, Zeb and Cody head into the water then both men fall in, and Zeb now has red long sleeves under his grey/black shirt, which is presumably a wet suit the older actor is wearing for this wet stunt. Other mistake: When Uncle Cody hears the bad news on the radio about the banks remaining close, Olivia suddenly orders the children to clear the table when their plates are half full. Which wouldn't happen in a Depression with food being a precious commodity.
The Gypsies - S1-E20
Audio problem: When John-Boy and Jason get to Godsey's and tell Ike about the break-in at the Baldwin place, Ike tells Matt that he should let Sheriff Bridges handle it, and in the next shot part of Matt's and Jason's dialogue is out of sync. (00:19:45)
