Continuity mistake: After Ike tells Corabeth his idea of having Elizabeth take Corabeth's place at the store, both Ike and Corabeth walk into the store, and during this scene we see the military honor roll board on the wall. In some shots the nameplate with "John Walton Jr" is at the bottom, but in other shots that nameplate is second from the top, under the "Jason Walton" nameplate. (00:38:55)

Visible crew/equipment: After the mince meat taste test Rose gets upset at Erin and Mary Ellen and goes for a walk, then when it cuts to Olivia reading to John-Boy, the shadow of the boom mic is visible on the wall at the top, right side of the screen, before it gets pulled up. (00:38:20)
Visible crew/equipment: When Serena reminds Rose about the luncheon she gets into Jim-Bob's car then they drive off, and before the shot cuts away we can see a bit of lighting equipment with its wheeled base, near the tree at the left side of the screen. (00:03:40)
Visible crew/equipment: When Jim-Bob delivers Betsy's mail she's washing her hair outside, and as she flips her wet hair back we can see the microphone under her halter top, while her arms are up. Then when she walks toward the cabin with Jim-Bob, the bulge of the mic transmitter is visible at the back of her shorts. (00:06:20)
Visible crew/equipment: After Ike and Corabeth tell Jim-Bob about the telegram they delivered to Betsy, when Jim-Bob drives over to Betsy's cabin in the woods he walks toward the front door, and crew members are visible at the left side of the screen. (00:42:00)

Continuity mistake: When Paul enters and exits the Dew Drop Inn, in the exterior shots the doorknob is at the left side of the front door as it opens, but in the interior shots that same door opens the opposite way, with the doorknob still at the left side of the door. (00:16:30)

Continuity mistake: When Jim-Bob walks down the stairs carrying the new puppy, there are greeting cards on the shelf above the desk, and on the table there are only candles with greenery, but in the next shot as Jeffrey takes the puppy the greeting cards have vanished, and now there is food on the table along with the candles, which have also switched places. (00:47:00)
Continuity mistake: While standing in front of the church, when Corabeth gives Cindy the ridiculous book Corabeth is wearing black gloves on both hands, but in the shots facing Cindy as she tries to refuse that book, we see Corabeth's hand gestures at the right side of the screen, and that hand is bare. (00:15:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Cindy brings Ben the oatmeal-raisin cookies Ben gets up and moves his chair, then as he sits down we can see the bulging outline of the mic transmitter at the back of his waist. (00:31:15)
Audio problem: While Ted and Jason are slopping pigs at the pen, Ted asks, "They really eat this garbage?" then as Ted pours the bucket contents we hear Ted exclaim, "They really eat this garbage!" but his mouth appears to say, "They really eat this crap!" (00:18:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When Elizabeth brings the new teacher to her home, as they walk inside the shadow of the boom mic dips into view at the top, right side of the screen. (00:05:50)
Visible crew/equipment: After Ike and Cora tell Verdie that Josh will be painting the storefront to pay back the money, when Verdie pulls Josh out of the store, the shadow of the boom mic is moving on the lattice wall. (00:30:20)
Continuity mistake: When Elizabeth walks out to the porch, she stands beside Zadok holding one apple in each hand in the wideshot, but in the medium shot both apples are in her left hand, but next shot it's back to one apple in each hand. (00:16:40)
Visible crew/equipment: In the day room, after Jason calls Toni out on her crabbiness, he tells her that he's crazy about her and walks out. Then when Toni sits down at the piano, the shadow of the boom mic is visible on the wall. (00:29:35)
Visible crew/equipment: At the store, when Ike gives Steve and Drew the reel line, the shadow of the boom mic is moving on the wall above the telephone, then again when Ike follows the boys to the door for their payment, the boom mic's shadow is visible over the canned food. (00:08:10)
