Revealing mistake: During the car chase in the golf course, Rockford gets ahead of Muzzy Vinette and has to turn the car to block his path. You can see in the grass, in that precise spot, different marks from previous takes of the scene. Obviously not a maneuver golf carts perform, and right there. (00:43:40)

Continuity mistake: Emily removes from her outfit the jacket and the dickey and leaves them on the couch before she gets booze (for some reason in another room). The dickey lies on top of the jacket, untouched and yet obviously in different ways in the various shots - look at it the first time, with just a little part sticking out over the couch and down its back, and then look at it when Emily comes back, and how the jacket and dickey are practically parallel. Revealing mistake: Going through the database with Lieutenant Maggie Poole, Magnum spots finally Ivan's picture. This involuntary puts a rather hilarious twist to one of the most famous and dramatic endings of a TV episode, since that picture from the military intelligence database is exactly from the 'future', aka the ending of the episode; Ivan is wearing the same black suit and tie (pretty weird already with the setting) that he will wear in the ending, and is even in front of the same tree leaf by leaf.
