In the opening shot, they are standing outside the door. Then two shots later, they have disappeared. Then they reappear two shots after that. A couple seconds later, after Martin drives away in Ned's car, they have changed position and are now seen standing on the curb.

For the first frame of the shot, the steam coming from the tub doesn't appear to have been animated. The steam literally pops up on screen a few frames after the shot starts.
