Continuity mistake: When Jaden, Bastion and Chumley regroup after searching for the card thief, in the wide shot, Bastion is standing 45° perpendicular to Jaden. In the next shot, Bastion is suddenly 90° perpendicular to Jaden. (00:09:20)

Continuity mistake: After Jaden realises Blair is a girl, there is a shot of Zane's room from above where Blair starts to run away. In this shot, some of Zane's cards can be seen on the floor after they were dropped. A couple seconds later, when Zane looks at the floor, the cards are now in different positions. (00:04:47)

Continuity mistake: After Dimitri has beaten Syrus with Yugi's deck, there is a shot where he says "It's good to be the King of Games", he has his right hand scrunched into a fist. When the shot cuts, his right hand is suddenly free and not making a fist. (00:09:33)

Continuity mistake: When Chumley runs to the edge of the cliff, in the wide shot when he stops running, Chumley's hands are at his side. He then starts to shout to his father, and his hands are raised to his face. (00:19:26)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden and Syrus run up to Chumley on the cliffside, they stop standing under the shadows from a tree. When the shot cuts, they have jumped a few meters, now standing in the sunlight, right behind Chumley. (00:19:38)

Duel and Unusual Punishment - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: After Syrus' life points go down to 2600, Jaden places a card face down. The card is positioned directly behind Elemental Hero Avian. But a minute later, after a brief conversation between Chumley and Alexis, the face down card is now more to the left and is positioned in between Elemental Heroes Avian and Sparkman. Continuity mistake: When Jaden and Syrus are saying goodbye to Chumley, Jaden extends his hand and Chumley grabs onto it with both his hands. Jaden has his thumb over Chumley's fingers at first, but when the shot cuts, Jaden's hand is completely covered by Chumley's hands. (00:18:39)

Continuity mistake: After Chumley realises the water is shallow, Jaden and Syrus remerge after the raft Syrus builds fall apart. In the shot of them standing up, the log closest to Jaden has a rope wrapped around it twice. When it cuts to a closer shot of Jaden and Syrus, the log next to him only has the rope wrapped around it once. (00:07:57)

Continuity mistake: Jaden activates the spell card Mirage of Nightmare, and then places two cards face down. Later in the scene, Jaden activates the trap card Mirror Force, so when that leaves the field, only one other card is face down on Jaden's side of the field (not counting Mirage of Nightmare). But a couple of seconds later, when the Shadow Duelist brings Terrorking Archfiend back to the field, Jaden has three face-down cards, even though he should only have one card face down and one card already activated. Duel and Unusual Punishment - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: After Chumley returns from Chancellor Shephard's office, in the shot where Jaden says "Well, you did lead us to the cafeteria", Jaden is holding six cards in his hand. The cards are side-by-side, with each card on top of the other. But in the next shot, the second card is suddenly under the first card. He also loses one of the cards in between shots, with there being six cards in the first shot, then five in the next. (00:05:00)

Revealing mistake: When the duel begins, the Shadow Duelist goes first. He has five cards in his left hand and draws a sixth card from his deck. He then places the sixth card next to the fifth card, and then picks up the fifth card in his hand, but the sixth card remains in the same position, without its position being affected by the fifth card being picked up. Revealing mistake: After the Shadow Duelist summons Infernal Queen Archfiend, Jaden says, "An Archfiend monster?" and the shot cuts back to the Shadow Duelist saying with that card on the field, every monster with Archfiend in its name gain 1000 attack points. In this shot, take note of the cards he is holding in his hand. He only appears to be holding onto two of the cards, but every other card in his hand appears to be held perfectly fine despite him not holding onto them. (00:12:41)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden tells the Shadow Duelist to leave his friends out of this, he draws a card with his right hand. When he does this, his left hand is lowered, but when it cuts to a close-up of the cards in his hand, his left hand is suddenly raised to be level with his right hand. (00:14:00)

Revealing mistake: After the Shadow Duelist has activated the effect of Terrorking Archfiend and the flame has landed on the ball labelled 2, just as he says, "Mirror Gate is shattered", the card shown on his duel disk is misshapen, where two corners of the card are curved, instead of being straight. Continuity mistake: Jaden picks up a card from a deck which is revealed to be a Level 1 monster. He then places it on the table, still face up, on top of two other cards. When the shot cuts, it is suddenly face down, and the two other cards have disappeared. Then over a minute later, in the close-up of Professor Banner picking a card up from the deck, one of the monsters has reappeared next to the Level 1 monster. (00:02:29 - 00:03:43)

Continuity mistake: When Chumley hands Jaden his duel disk, Jaden puts it on and his deck of cards cannot be seen inside it. Jaden then walks over to face the Shadow Duelist, where his deck is suddenly inside the duel disk. Then a few seconds after that, he puts the deck of cards in the duel disk. (00:12:13)

Revealing mistake: When Jaden says "I got a whole army of vicious army of monsters in my deck just waiting to get at you", a small animation glitch occurs in the bottom right corner of the frame. Just as he begins saying "waiting", he moves his left arm slightly, and part of the red colouring on his blazer disappears from shot, almost as if the animators forgot to colour it in. (00:15:27)

Revealing mistake: When Jaden says he's started hearing voices again, it cuts to a close-up of a flashback showing Jaden holding the Winged Kuriboh card. The shot appears to be flipped as the LIGHT symbol on the card, as well as the illustration of the card is reversed, compared to every other time this card is shown. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: After Jaden has picked up the Level 1 card, in the shot of Syrus saying to Jaden he really lucked out, there is one card on the table in front of Chumley. A couple seconds later, when the shot focuses on Chumley and Syrus after Jaden begins the story, there are suddenly two cards in front of Chumley. (00:02:29)

Continuity mistake: After Jaden's life points have gone down to 1000, in the shot of Chazz saying, "Having some test anxiety", his arms are pointed down toward the ground. When the shot cuts to focus on Jaden, his arms are suddenly raised. (00:15:20)
