Battlestar Galactica (2003 Miniseries) - Part 2 - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Adama orders the landing pods retracted before an FTL jump during the final battle, we are shown a shot of the interior of the landing bay as the entrance quickly narrows due to the retraction (2:44:13-2:44:20). At the rate of closure, the entrance would be fully sealed within the next 10 seconds. But a full minute later (2:45:21), we see the landing pods are fully extended again. Then at 2:46:04 we see from above that the pods have reached their fully-retracted position (and the entrances are now sealed), but at 2:46:12, they are still closing and Starbuck and Apollo safely enter before the entrance is sealed. But with each angle change, the location and position of her right hand is wildly different. The Oath - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the 4th season episode "The Oath", Adama and Tigh choose to stay and fight rather than flee Galactica with Roslin. Apollo is not shown voicing any opposition to this. Yet in the next episode's opening, he is shown confronting his father, saying "No, Dad, you can't stay here". While this moment can be excused as having happened off-camera as the mutineers were shown approaching in the prior episode, it is the later show's narration which states "Previously on Battlestar Galactica" that is technically incorrect.

Continuity mistake: During the battle between John and Mary, a huge storm brews up above and around them. Shots of Ray having a meeting show this storm outside the window. But just before the office is torn open, a momentary close-up of Ray in the office shows a normal, late-day sunny sky, then the wall is ripped open and the gray/blue storm is there again.

Continuity mistake: When the tractor-trailer accident occurs during the chase, the two shots viewing the truck approaching the camera position have the red cab driving alongside the median and the trailer swung out to the driver's left, toward the road's shoulder. But when the film's heroes swerve to avoid the truck, the next shot showing their car crossing the median also shows the truck cab is at the shoulder with the trailer swung out toward the median- exactly the opposite of where it should be.

Continuity mistake: When Bryan rescues one girl from the construction site brothel, he steals a white Jeep Cherokee to escape. When his pursuers start shooting during the chase, a shot of the Jeep's rear shows both red tail light lenses are gone. But the very next shot showing the right side of the Jeep proves they are intact.

Continuity mistake: When the car comes to rest after turning over, there is enough space between it and the wall to drive another car of similar size through. But when we look down on the wreck from the overpass, there's no more than a foot of space. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: When the chase ends with the big crash, Mike's car rests roadside with the driver's door still attached and fully closed. But as the girls walk over, the door is disconnected from the car and resting against the fender. Mike is seriously injured, slumped down and hanging out of the doorway, crying out in the pain. Obviously he hasn't gotten out, detached the door and returned to his seat.

Continuity mistake: As the President leads the staff out of the Oval Office, the rear angle shot shows Kate Harper is ahead of Annabeth Schott. But the angle reverses to show them emerging from the office as Kate is coming around Annabeth's right side to pass her. (00:40:00)

Continuity mistake: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - When the Jeep Cherokee flips, it lands on the driver-side/rear corner of its roof, completely collapsing that corner of the roof. The camera angle changes and instantly the Jeep is landing on both of its driver-side tires, roof intact, and rolls onto its left side. The angle changes again, and the collapsed roof is back as the Jeep slides a bit more before the shot changes again, and the undamaged roof is shown as the Jeep rolls onto its roof and comes to a stop. The camera pans around the rear of the wreck, and there is no roof collapse at either rear corner.

Continuity mistake: All shots of the Jeep Cherokee prior to it crashing (and during the process of flipping over) show that it wears factory-optional silver steel wheels of a 'star' style. But as the wreck settles upside-down, it's wearing plain steel wheels (like those found under full wheel covers or on a spare tire).

Continuity mistake: As Cameron is questioned about the girl that commited suicide, the interviewer holds a photo of one of the mostly-black posters. When we see his view of the photo, the white letters spell 'DAN', but before and after that shot, when we see his face, we can see through the photo, and it only reads 'A', which is a different poster seen earlier in the same episode.
