Continuity mistake: When Jerry discovers the deliveries to his apartment and takes the gun out of its wrapper, in the first shot he's holding it quite loosely in his hand, then the angle changes and his fingers are wrapped tightly around the grip. (00:17:20)

Continuity mistake: When Rose is giving the 5 year warning to Reinette, she's got a noticeable spot on her chin. When Reinette goes behind the tapestry and sees the ship, Rose's spot has suddenly vanished. (00:28:50)

Continuity mistake: When Depp is in the cinema, with the audience looking left and right without seeing him, in a wider shot he's worried, then slowly breaks into a wry smile. We then cut to a closer shot, and he's suddenly looking serious again, before smiling once more.

Continuity mistake: When Crown's attempting to repeat his golf shot, he flattens the ball into the sand. Then when we see the club hit the ball, suddenly it's on top of the sand.

Continuity mistake: When Mike's talking to his son in the school cafeteria (just before his ridiculing of Stan, the bully) keep an eye on his burger - it's sometimes in his hand, sometimes not, and changes position in the box and tray as well. (00:36:30)

Chuck Versus the First Kill - S2-E20

Continuity mistake: There's a noticeable jump cut after Jill separates from Sarah - we see a cubicle, with a Fulcrum agent getting up and running off to the left, leaving his chair spinning slightly. He exits, then just before Jill enters (apparently in a continuous shot), the chair suddenly rotates to a different position and then stops.

Continuity mistake: When Alec Baldwin is being shaved by Kim Basinger, towards the end of the scene the right side of his face is mostly shaved, clear of shaving foam - we cut away, cut back, and now there's only one clear strip which has been shaved, with the rest still foam-covered.

Home - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: The baby gets into the fridge, which then closes - we see a closeup shot of the babyproofing clip shutting itself. Then when the mother sees the spilled milk and realises what's happened, there are a few shots of the fridge - in shots from the front the clip's open, and in shots from the side it's closed. When she goes to open the fridge it's open again - she even fiddles with it to give the appearance of undoing it before opening the fridge door.

Continuity mistake: When Meredith's talking to Lexie in the clinic, in one shot from Lexie's right there's a chunk of hair hanging in front of her ear. We cut to a shot from the other side, then back, and without her touching it, it's now neatly tucked back.

Continuity mistake: Marshall turns on the computer, and a readout pops up clearly displaying 2h 45m left on the countdown. He then says "look at that - that means we're in the final hour left of the countdown".

Continuity mistake: When Bruce Wayne is talking to Alfred while having his arm stitched, in shots from the side he's looking downwards, but in other shots he's looking up towards Alfred. This keeps switching, shot to shot.

The Girl in Suite 2103 - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: When Angela and Hodges are working out the size of the silhouette on the wall, as Angela says "which I deny", she's got a relatively serious look on her face. We then cut to a shot from the other side of her, and she's suddenly smiling.

The Graft in the Girl - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: When Bones goes to open the vent on the wall in the mortuary while standing on the coffin, the shot from inside the grate shows her taking a step up and being exactly at head height for it. Only problem is that in the shot previous to this she was significantly short of the grate, and there was nothing on the coffin lid for her to step up onto.

The Graft in the Girl - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: When Angela asks to see the girl's drawing, in the shot from the girl's perspective as she hands the pad over, the painting's quite small in the centre of the page. When it then cuts to Angela's point of view it takes up nearly the whole page. (00:02:45)

Silence in the Library (1) - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: After Miss Evangelista is killed, we see her communicator as her "ghost" slowly fades. In one shot we see from a slight distance the lights left lit tick down to 3, then a short while passes, we cut back and the lights are back to 4. They then tick down to 3 again.

Continuity mistake: When Indy starts climbing up the cliff after the water bursts through, we see a close-up of the back of his shirt, and there's one small tear quite high up. We cut to a wide shot, and now there are several quite wide rips across the back of his shirt. (01:36:30)

Continuity mistake: When Short Round is dangling between the two carts, just before the cart tracks split, he goes from being held by one arm to suddenly being held by two. (01:33:25)

Continuity mistake: When Popeye's being shot at by the sniper, he's hiding behind a tree and rolls towards a wall that's relatively well-lit by sunshine. The angle changes and it's now completely in shadow.

Continuity mistake: Near the start, just after the robber takes a hostage, Clint holds his gun up and moves his thumb onto the hammer. When it cuts to a reverse angle his thumb's back down, then he moves it up again a few shots later.
