Continuity mistake: When Hogan is trying to get the woman drunk, they take their first sip of brandy and put their glasses down. Hogan's is full, and he switches the full one for the empty one. He picks up the empty one with his right hand. When the camera cuts to a wide shot of the two of them, it's in his left hand.

Drums Along the Dusseldorf - S3-E30

Continuity mistake: At the end, when Hogan and Schultz are admiring the Indian headband sent by Carter, Klink comes walking out behind them. As he stands in the door, you see Klink fold his hands in front of his waist as Hogan is talking. After Klink starts to talk, the camera cuts to a close up of him and he suddenly has his riding crop under his arm.

Continuity mistake: Burkhalter and Hans Spear are seated at the table in Klink's office and Burkhalter pours brandy for himself and Spear. After the camera goes through several quick cuts, you see the shot glasses empty without having been moved.

Continuity mistake: When Schultz comes over to talk to the boys, they open the truck door that has a map on it in chalk. They erase it, and go to close the the door on the right side of the shot. When the camera angle changes, they're closing the truck door again.

Continuity mistake: As Schultz comes in, Klink has his left hand on his forehead. As Schultz is talking, Klink starts to raise his head, his hand very close to his forehead. When the camera cuts to a close up, his hand is below chin level.

Continuity mistake: After the phone call leading Klink to believe Hitler is coming by, he stands and goes to Hogan. As he stands over Hogan, he is gesturing with his left hand. When the camera angle changes, he's using his right hand.

Six Lessons from Madame LaGrange - S5-E22

Continuity mistake: When Hogan is talking with Lily Frankel before the double agent comes over, Hogan is lifting his beer. When the camera goes to close up, he's lifting it again. Also, in the long shot, the beer is down about three quarters of an inch from the rim. In the close up, the beer is nearly full.

Continuity mistake: The boxes being carried into the buildings in the beginning of the episode were about sixteen inches high by three feet long. When the bomber plane is dropping bombs, what drops out is a lot bigger than the dimensions of the boxes.

Continuity mistake: Klink comes out with the "insurance policies" in his hand. They are lying beside each other, with a little space between them, and tilted in one position in his hand. When the camera goes into a close up, they are touching, and in a different position.

Continuity mistake: When the woman is kissing Klink in town, she hands a note to the boy who puts the note inside the spare tire's hubcap. There was no tape to stick it anywhere, yet when LeBeau goes to get the note, it is stuck with tape to the center of the spare tire.

Continuity mistake: When Newkirk and Carter are playing Gin, Newkirk puts a card on his forehead so Carter can't get it. When he puts it on his head, it's about a quarter inch below his hairline. In the close up, the card is now at the hairline. In the wide shot, the card is again about a quarter inch lower.

What Time Does the Balloon Go Up? - S3-E24

Continuity mistake: When the British spy is trying to get to the camp, the area around him seems fairly lit, as at dusk, after the sun just set. When he glances toward the gates, the sky is black, suggesting night (the shot of the gate is stock footage). When the shot goes back to the spy, it's dusk again.

Trivia: A sinister aspect of an otherwise lightheated comedy, but the fact is that Hogan and his men are war criminals. They engage in combat activities behind enemy lines when not in uniform, and worse, while wearing enemy uniforms. The Germans tried that during the Battle of the Bulge and those arrested were shot.
