The Waltons (1972)

The Dust Bowl Cousins - S1-E13

Other mistake: After the fight, when John walks over to John-Boy, who's at the kitchen sink, and tells him to explain what it's all about, the camera pans a bit too far to the right so we can see the unfinished edge of the cabinet at the right. It's unfinished because the adjacent shorter double cabinet (with a glass door) which should be there is missing in this shot, then that cabinet is back when John-Boy turns around in a following shot. The Waltons (1972)

The Conflict - S3-E1

Other mistake: While Martha Corinne is standing in front of the bathroom sink in the new house, we see her height compared to the mirrored medicine cabinet above the sink, and Martha Corinne is quite a bit shorter than the mirror's knob, even with her bonnet. When she reaches up to open the cabinet door, in the next closeup from behind her she is now taller than that knob. For this specific closeup The Actress was presumably standing on a stool, in order to have the perfect shot of her turning her head, then being surprised by her own reflection in the mirror. The Waltons (1972)

The Carousel - S9-E11

Other mistake: When Jim-Bob comes home unexpectedly while Drew is over, this scene takes place in the boys' bedroom. In the interior shot, when Jim-Bob tells Drew to douse the light Drew gets up and turns off the light in the boys' bedroom, then it cuts to the exterior shot which specifically shows their window going dark as the light is being turned off by Drew. The problem is in this exterior shot we are seeing the light go out in John-Boy's bedroom (where Mary Ellen resides with the baby), not the boys' bedroom. (00:26:00)

The Waltons (1972)

The Thanksgiving Story - S2-E10

Other mistake: During John-Boy's entrance exam at Boatwright University, when he's given the pamphlet and history test questions, note three of the questions include the contraction "it's" which is incorrect within those given questions. Each question should have used "its" without an apostrophe. Additionally, the sign on the University's wall reads "keep your eyes on you own paper" instead of "your own paper." (01:00:35)

Charmed (1998)

Malice in Wonderland - S8-E2

Other mistake: After Piper tells Phoebe to get to know Dex well and fast because it may be the one sign Phoebe can't ignore, Piper ends the family meeting. In the following overhead shot as Piper walks out we can see her reflection in the wall mirror and it shows her long dark brown hair, but the problem is the reflection should be showing the "Jenny Bennett" golden blonde hair instead. Once Upon a Time (2011)

The Final Battle: Part 1 - S6-E22

Other mistake: While Killian and David are talking at the base of the beanstalk, in the wideshots we can see the protective black boot worn by Colin O'Donoghue, the actor playing Killian, who broke his left foot during filming of the previous musical episode. (00:20:30)

The Goonies (1985)

Other mistake: After the kids find Chester Copperpot's skeleton, Mikey picks up Copperpot's book and finds the Gehrig baseball card inside. When Mikey turns the card over it's the 1973 Topps Lou Gehrig All-Time Grand Slam Leader #472 (which has nine players' grand slam stats listed on the back of the card, that includes Hank Aaron who started playing MLB in 1954). The problem is Copperpot was reported as missing in 1935, but this specific Topps baseball card (now well known) was issued in 1973, nearly 40 years after Copperpot's death via the pirate booby trap. Gilmore Girls (2000)

Love and War and Snow - S1-E8

Other mistake: After Lane goes home, when Rory watches her mom talking to Max note the short window over the kitchen sink behind Rory (not the tall window on the same wall). In the next shot, from outside that short window, we see Rory pull the photo strip out of her pocket then proceed to walk to that window and stand directly in front of it. The problem is there should be a sink and cabinets under that window blocking Rory from standing beside the window. (00:43:05)

Gilmore Girls mistake picture

Show generally

Other mistake: The Warner Bros. Studio Tour building is quite a distinctive high-rise, and it's located at the corner of Avon and Warner Blvd across the street from the Warner Bros. Studio backlot, which includes the location set of Stars Hollow town square. During the series, in a few episodes such as "Will You Be My Lorelai Gilmore," that high-rise building can be seen from the town square, past Doose's Market, directly behind Sophie's Music store.

Girl Shy (1924)

Other mistake: Throughout the movie, Harold Lloyd's prosthetic glove on his right hand is noticeable in the wideshots when he stretches or holds out his right hand, so in all the closeups showing both of Harold's hands it's the stand-in's hands we are seeing.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown mistake picture

Other mistake: When the kids leave Linus standing alone in the pumpkin patch, Sally decides to rush back to Linus, and when Linus explains that she'll see the Great Pumpkin with her own eyes, Sally's left arm is blue, the same color as her dress, then instantly changes to the normal flesh color within the same shot. The Simpsons Game (2007)

The Simpsons Game mistake picture

Other mistake: Level 5 "Mob Rules" cutscene: After Lisa gives Marge the manual and explains Marge's superpower to her, when Marge shouts, "Okay, let's stop that video game," Lisa's moving head was not properly edited by the layout artists, note that Lisa's head and neck are disconnected from her body, which is a bit creepy looking as she moves her head.

The Simpsons Game (2007)

The Simpsons Game mistake picture

Other mistake: Level 10 "Bargain Bin" cutscene: When the spaceship flies over the house all the Simpsons walk out the front door, and in this overhead shot part of the house is missing, note the animation is incomplete behind the roof of the garage.

Wet Hot American Summer mistake picture

Other mistake: Victor and Neil leave in the Rally STX van to take the boys to Moose River. Later, when Beth goes into town the license plate number is '566 241' on her Chevy pickup, but when Victor drops Neil and the boys off, we see their Rally STX has the same license plate number '566 241' as well. Rock 'n' Roll High School mistake picture

Other mistake: While the school is burning, a few shots after the closeup of Kate and Tom kissing, there's another shot of an explosion and it's a flipped shot, note the writing is backwards on the banner. (01:30:10)

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade mistake picture

Other mistake: While Indy and Henry are aboard the zeppelin Indy tosses Vogel out the lounge window, and when Vogel shouts up to the departing airship, in the next exterior shot we see the zeppelin airborne against a scenic view. Later, when Indy realises the zeppelin is turning around it cuts to another exterior shot of the airship, and the scenic view is identical to the earlier shot, only it's been flipped. The images of the zeppelin facing two different directions were composited onto the same scenic background.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade mistake picture

Other mistake: After Young Indy runs out of the cave with the Cross of Coronado, when he whistles for his horse and jumps down, note the horse's facial marking and leg marking. When Indy mounts the horse it's a different horse, note its markings, and as he rides toward the circus train the horse has changed again. (00:04:55)

Dexter (2006)

The Angel of Death - S6-E5

Other mistake: While Dexter's searching for info on Travis Marshall on his laptop, he opens the DMV Records window with an image of Marshall's driver license, and in the closeup at the bottom of the license it reads "Operation of a motor vehicle constitutes consent to any sobiety test required by law," with the word "sobriety" missing the letter "r." Additionally, under the image of the license it reads "Issued: 10-12-2006", but on the actual license image it reads, "DOB: 11-24-1977, Issued: 09-23-1990, Expires: 09-23-2012." So that means Marshall was not even 13 yrs old when he got his license, and the license won't expire for 22 years. Also, when Brother Sam knocks on the door Dexter clicks back onto the MOA website, and if you care to pause the screen note the word "Exibit" is missing the letter "h." (00:18:50)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban mistake picture

Other mistake: When Arthur takes Harry aside at the Leaky Cauldron, the moment before Arthur says, "There are some within the Ministry who would strongly discourage me from divulging what I'm about to reveal..." we can see the digital number "300" flash on the stone pillar to the right of the wanted poster. (This occurs only in the fullscreen version, as opposed to a widescreen version where the number "301" flashes underneath the poster, which is noted in another mistake). (00:17:30)

Toy Story (1995)

Toy Story mistake picture

Other mistake: During the scenes in Andy's room, when characters are standing near the window beside Andy's bed, and also on both the interior and exterior sides of the window behind the desk, we can see the same markings/scratches/chipped paint on their white lower sash rails, though the marks on the exterior side of the window behind the desk, are actually opposite from the other marks.
