Other mistake: When Ray pulls up to Mary Ann's home, the front exterior layout and dimensions of the house are evident, from its near center front door to the two car garage, in front of Ray's van. The side exterior wall contains two large garage doors, which are about 35-40 ft from the location of the front door, with no small basement windows at ground level; inside, beside the front door, the stairs that lead to the basement run parallel just under the stairs in the foyer. In the basement, the small windows on the far end of the furnace room they run into are only about 20 ft from the basement stairs. Not only are the small windows non-existent in the exterior shot, but it's entirely impossible for two small windows to be where they are, considering the exterior footage of the house. Other mistake: There is a thin vertical line from the top of the screen to the bottom, that moves as the camera moves, just after the Trojans enter Apollo's temple when the Greeks run out of hiding to ambush the Trojans. It also appears in the first exterior shot, when Hector shows Andromache the secret escape route. (00:45:55 - 01:47:15)

Other mistake: While the Trojan warning gongs ring, in the shot of the citizens when they run past the guards to return to the safety within the walls, there is something stuck to the left side of the camera (it looks like a long piece of hair), which flickers on the screen as the camera continues to pan in closer. Other mistake: While Hermione and Ron watch, cloaked Harry starts up with Malfoy and his two friends as they all stand in the snow. Most noticeable in the wide shot, when Harry spins the Slytherin boy, although the boy's feet visibly disturb the snow, Harry's feet do not make a mark - no footprints whatsoever. (01:02:30)

Other mistake: After receiving the new Firebolt Harry runs outside to use it. In the close-up as he takes off and in the next wide shot many of the students' eyes are not in sync with Harry's flight. (02:09:15)

Other mistake: While downstairs Vernon hears Hedwig's squawks, as well as Dobby and Harry's exchange in the bedroom upstairs, distracting enough for them all, including the Masons, to take note. The noise upstairs illicits a reaction from everyone, which Vernon explains is a noisy cat. Yet when Harry very noisily chases Dobby down the steps, Dobby slams into the wall and Harry lands with a loud thud (not remotely 'catlike'), Vernon, who stands on the other side of the shared wall, pleasantly continues his story to his rapt guests, who are also not distracted by the noise. To suggest that such loud noises coming from the hallway right beside them would not draw any reaction from anyone, Vernon and the Masons included, is preposterous. (00:06:45)

Other mistake: In the Sammy/Lenny shot in the Institution, before the switch the orderly on the left heads toward the medical files with his arm outstretched and the nurse walks behind Sammy. Just as the person passes the camera the film jerks and the two men at the table, visible on the left, have a shaking motion. After the switch, the orderly and the nurse are both further back. Other mistake: In Sarah's room, after the close-ups of Lancelot's empty shelf space and of Sarah beginning to say, "Someone..." as she finishes, "has been in my room again," in this wide shot, while still on her bed until she leaves her room, there is a mark across Sarah's forehead that extends to the left side of her eye. It isn't in the previous or following shots. (00:06:40)

Other mistake: When the Lost Boys spot the large white bird they argue about who gets the telescope. In the wide shot one of the twins slips and falls on the ground and looks directly at the camera with a puzzled look on his face. In the next close-up Tootles and especially Nibs start smirking, Nibs has to look down and away as Slightly says his lines and the other twin starts to look at the camera when the shot changes. Other mistake: Pintel and Ragetti fire the chain link cannonball, and it hits the square rigged mast aboard Interceptor. There's a shot of two men falling from the top of the mast, just before Interceptor's mast crashes onto the Pearl. They are not part of Jack's crew, who are all accounted for aboard the Pearl later. The only one of Jack's crew to die is the Asian man, when he's stabbed by a pirate and falls overboard. Nor can they be Barbossa's crew, because they haven't boarded yet. (01:27:00)

Other mistake: Keira Knightley has very obvious makeup applied to her cheeks and especially her eyes and lips throughout the movie. First example, when she gives Will the medallion in the cabin, and second, when Barbossa points the gun at her, before Jack shoots him. Actresses wear makeup in movies, but the lip color and eye make-up are unrealistic for a kidnapped Elizabeth. It shouldn't be as dark and apparent, as it is in this movie. (01:18:10 - 02:00:55)

Other mistake: Just as Gandalf and the Rohirrim are riding into the Uruk-hai and they clash, go slowly, frame by frame. Legolas will be on the right of the screen. Keep going frame by frame. You'll soon see a few pretty clear frames of Arwen with her sword, on her white horse. She's sitting to the right of Legolas. Her long hair is pulled back into a braid. She's wearing pink sleeves. She's the only one on the screen with that color, so you can't miss it (slow motion can be helpful but is unnecessary). The official reason for editing out Arwen (given on the DVD extras) was that during filming Peter Jackson intentionally leaked an image of Arwen at Helm's Deep online to gauge fan reactions, then backpedalled over her presence after overwhelmingly negative fan reactions.
