A Simple Favor (2018)

Revealing mistake: Stephanie is browsing on the library computer the copy of The Cherry Creek Observer. On the page at the right end of the screen you can see under a title about an assault, a copy-pasted article about autism. (01:20:20)

A Simple Favor (2018)

Revealing mistake: Stephanie receives a call just after she opened the envelope Nicky gave her, with the brother-f**ker picture. When she picks up the phone, not only it shows the Canadian provider Rogers, but also a time of 4:31 PM, when she just got back home with the kids (who don't do a full time, Sean mentioned 2 PM at the funeral as a time when Emily would drunk-rant at Nicky), plus she still finds Sean busy at work after that despite the city being one hour and a half away. Revealing mistake: In the sequence with Steph's car spinning out of control once she inadvertently rushes the red light, her son Miles is screaming scared, but the baby actor is laughing. (01:02:50)

Revealing mistake: After the report on the Kia, Sean receives a call from the Warfield police department. Sean is a professor in Connecticut, but his mobile carrier as shown in the close-up of the phone is Rogers, a Canadian company. The film was shot in Ontario. (00:39:50)

A Simple Favor (2018)

Revealing mistake: The protagonist broadcasts the description of Emily's car in her vlog. She then receives a mail from a mom in Michigan...or does she? Seems not, because if you look at the window of the mail open in Safari, she is on the Compose tab, not in the Inbox, with a Send message and format and style buttons at the bottom (and she is not replying to the message because the 'from' field is a "michiganmom381" gmail account. A Simple Favor (2018)

Revealing mistake: The teacher has to stop the overzealous Stephanie from signing up to more than one task. Thing is, even before Anna Kendrick grabs the pen from the string, her name is written on the sheet already. (00:03:35)

Revealing mistake: Throughout the scene when it is revealed that Jack has been offered a six month trial with the local team, the wall clock is stuck at the same minute and second. (00:18:30)

Revealing mistake: In the examination of the corpse at the funeral house, a bug is removed from the throat of the victim. The bug is lodged deeply into the throat of the girl, to the point that when they pull it out, air is released from the throat it obstructed. But if you look at the first shot when Agent Terry puts his tweezers in the girl's mouth, you can already spot by the molar the tip of the cocoon - the bug is not that big, if the agent had already pulled it by that much the gas release would have happened already. (00:45:15)

Revealing mistake: During the autopsy at the funeral house, Agent Ray Terry is taking pictures, aided by the funeral home assistant, Lamar. The actress playing the dead body does a great job throughout the scene, but exactly when it's time to take the first picture you can see her blink right as Lamar's hands pass over her eyes. Affaire de Coeur - S1-E15

Revealing mistake: When Nigel shows Lord Aubrey's page from the genealogy book of the various lords of the house, the text does not deal with the lord at all, but it's Latin filler from Celsus' "De Medicina." (00:22:10)

Death in Paradise (2011)

Meditated in Murder - S7-E6

Revealing mistake: Jack searches for Bryn Williams. We see the page with the results. Florence suggests him then to change to William Bryn, he types it, but the next close-up shows the results page with the query unchanged from before. Still, the bottom result (the top one are still all "Bryn Williams) is the one ("William Bryn") they are looking for. (00:16:20)

Taxi Driver (1976)

Revealing mistake: Travis kills Iris' Time Keeper and fails to commit suicide. He sits by the corpse; you can steel see Murray Moston's belly move, breathing. (01:42:20)

Taxi Driver (1976)

Revealing mistake: Sport initially is cautious enough to inquire Travis about a gun, and suspect him of being a policeman. Forgetting the fact that he's suddenly dumb enough to not recognize just a few days later the weirdo with a huge mole on the cheek he talked to, just because he shaved his hair (maybe he was stoned), he still is approached by a guy with a hand in his pocket, in a dark street, making weird questions, who asks him if he has a GUN, and that then says "Suck on this." That already should make him at least quite jumpy, but then, at this point Robert De Niro pulls the gun out of his pocket...but flubs it, it does not happen smoothly. For a good couple of seconds Harvey Keitel stands in front of him motionless, unfazed like no human being would, just because there is no cue for the actor to do anything but stand there like an idiot and get shot. Taxi Driver (1976)

Taxi Driver mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When the Senator finishes his speech and steps off the stage, Travis begins to move making his way through the crowd. Several extras are recycled appearing in inconsistent positions - look no further than the black woman with a bright flower patterned pink shirt; she is simultaneously in front of Travis as he begins to move in the outer section, and right between Charles Palantine and the stage in the shot immediately after. And then she keeps popping up where she's not supposed to be, continuously. (01:36:20)

Taxi Driver (1976)

Revealing mistake: After taking Iris out for breakfast, Travis is in his car and looks at the building when Iris lives and/or works. And in that establishing shot, that lasts about a second fading almost immediately, from his car he is watching...himself, because it is re-used footage from the scene of one day earlier, when he was entering the building to pay for her service. The person you see go through the door, is De Niro, same shirt and jeans of that scene. Not only that, most people at the window are the same and in the exact same position, and the passersby in the street are the same. (01:18:30 - 01:29:30)

The Headless Nun - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: In the shot when the captain supposedly beheads the nun, her head flies off, but as the body falls forward, you can see the hood of the mantle that was covering the head is intact. (00:02:25)

Charlie's Angels (2019)

Revealing mistake: In the semi-POV shot showing Elena's face as the SUV rams into their getaway car, the passenger window is open - which would make no sense in the heated car chase with bullets flying all over the place, and is not consistent with the rest of the scene either. Just helps filming. (00:24:35)

Taxi Driver (1976)

Taxi Driver mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When Travis starts spelling his phony name out to the security guy, a ginger kid walks in, stares at the camera, and hides away as quick as he came. In similar fashion, another kid with a red baseball cap looks at the camera behind De Niro once this walks by evading the photographer. (01:04:20)

Distant Drums (1951)

Revealing mistake: In the famous alligator scene, Gary Cooper holds in his arms Mari Aldon and begins crossing the river. Right after they get in the water for the first time there's an underwater shot where a line pulling the alligator across the screen is visible. (00:42:45)
